Chapter 95 - A 100% Faithful COS

The so-called mecha referred to mechanical power armor—to be specific, something like Ethan's Iron Man suit.

Since they were all group members, Garp and Naruto already had some idea of what that meant. So when Vegapunk mentioned he wanted to cosplay as a mecha, both of them immediately pictured an Iron Man-style armor striking a heroic pose.

"This is actually a good choice," Garp said thoughtfully."Ethan's Iron Man armor seems to have quite the reputation in this world. If you cosplay that, it'll give you a decent popularity boost—definitely helpful for the contest."

Naruto didn't really understand what Garp was saying, but he nodded eagerly anyway, pretending to follow along while agreeing wholeheartedly with "Grandpa Garp's" wisdom.

"What are you talking about?" Vegapunk asked in surprise, blinking at Garp as if he couldn't believe what he'd just heard.

"Huh? Isn't that what you meant?" Garp looked baffled.

"When I say mecha…" Vegapunk said matter-of-factly, "of course I mean Mobile Suit!"

Both Garp and Naruto stared at him, question marks practically floating over their heads.

Not knowing what a "Mobile Suit" was, they turned to the Mall for answers.

Search function: activated.

In moments, rows upon rows of products appeared—each one a massive humanoid war machine, about 18 meters tall on average.

A bead of cold sweat rolled down Garp's forehead as he glanced through the listings."Vegapunk… don't tell me you're planning to…"

Before he could finish, Vegapunk proudly declared,"That's right! I'm going to cosplay as a Mobile Suit!"

"…You're going to buy one?" Garp finished weakly.

Vegapunk froze mid-excitement, then gave Garp a strange look."Do I look like someone who needs to buy a Mobile Suit?"

I am Dr. Vegapunk—the scientist whose intellect surpasses humanity by 500 years!

Do you really think I can't build a Mobile Suit myself?!

Raising his right hand, Vegapunk revealed a vertical marking glowing faintly on the back. It was the symbol of a storage space.

(For reference, opening a storage space costs 10,000 coins. The initial capacity is 2×2×2.5 meters, and expanding it later costs 100 coins per added cubic unit.)

Suddenly, a wind with no source burst outward, sweeping the area clear and forcing everyone nearby to retreat several steps back.

THUD—!!!

A heavy impact shook the floor.

"Ahahaha…"

The moment the gleaming silver-white figure entered their vision, Garp let out a dry chuckle in his mind—right before Vegapunk's triumphant voice rang out.

"Behold! This is the Mobile Suit Kuma! It took me two days to build!"

Its overall appearance resembled a Gundam Exia, though its color scheme was a plain metallic silver.

"Due to the time crunch, the quality's a bit rough. Combat power's only at about a Marine Headquarters Lieutenant Colonel level. The only weapon installed is a laser cannon."

As expected of a scientist… the man's efficiency is terrifying!

Though honestly, I wish he'd slow down a little!

By the way, Vegapunk, did you forget something? You're supposed to be making cosplay props, not actual weapons!

Garp grumbled inwardly, but couldn't be bothered to remind him—it wasn't worth the trouble.

The deafening impact instantly drew the attention of everyone in the exhibition hall.

Hundreds of heads turned toward the sound—and there it stood: a towering Mobile Suit Gundam, solid and tangible, not a projection.

That realization spread like wildfire. The air fell silent.

A giant robot had appeared out of thin air.No one could explain it—and after the recent alien invasion incident, everyone's minds went straight to panic.

One, two, three—RUN!!!

As if someone had shouted the command, chaos erupted.Within three seconds, the hall filled with terrified screams as people bolted for the exits.

Unfortunately, the hall had only one passageway, used both for entering and leaving. Those trying to flee collided with newcomers entering the hall, creating a massive bottleneck.

The people in front couldn't retreat, and those behind them refused to move aside—with the massive robot looming right behind them, panic consumed reason.

In moments, the crowd was on the verge of a stampede.

Then—a wave of invisible energy swept through the hall.Instantly, the chaos stopped.Everyone's breathing steadied; their movements synchronized, calm and orderly once more as they quietly returned to their previous spots.

Order restored.

"What the hell are you guys doing!?"

Mu Yang's voice broke through the silence, staring at the trio in disbelief.Beside him, White Yasha wore the same exasperated expression.

"Ahaha… I forgot we were in another world. My bad," Vegapunk said sheepishly. To be precise, he'd just gotten too caught up in conversation. By the time he realized it, he had already summoned the Mobile Suit Gundam from his storage space.

It was a common enough slip—who hadn't gotten carried away chatting before?

"Be careful next time," Mu Yang warned briefly, then said no more.

Meanwhile, the cosplayers had returned to their positions, striking cute or alluring poses once more.Visitors resumed snapping photos.Everything looked normal again.

Even those who'd just walked into the hall behaved as if nothing had happened. No one mentioned the earlier chaos—it was as though the incident had never occurred.

"(⊙o⊙) Wow! That robot is so detailed! COOOOOL!! Take a picture!"

Excited voices filled the exhibition hall. The crowd surged toward Vegapunk's display.

Whoosh—!

Vegapunk instantly switched gears: Apology Mode off. Competition Mode on.He shot up into the cockpit of the Mobile Suit like a gust of wind.

The onlookers watched in confusion.

[…Pilot identity verified…][…Mobile Suit Kuma: activating…]

The deep, mechanical voice of Tyrant Kuma echoed within the cockpit as Vegapunk gripped the controls.

"(⊙o⊙) It moved! It moved!!"

"That's amazing!"

"COOOOOOL!!"

The cheers were louder than ever—roaring waves of excitement crashing over the hall again and again.Thunderous applause and screams filled the air, echoing down the corridor and drawing even more people in.

"Director! Director! Emergency situation!"

Among the spectators stood a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, staring wide-eyed at the towering humanoid weapon as he contacted his superior.

"Calm down," said Agent Coulson, who was overseeing the product showcase. Pressing a finger to his earpiece, he spoke evenly, "Don't panic. Tell me what you've found."

Before the first agent could respond, two more urgent voices came through the comms—
