Chapter 76 - Tony Stark's Story

Pirate World, New World, Moby Dick.

Whitebeard surveyed the scene on the deck. It was a mess, with the drunken crew sprawled out everywhere, much the same as when he'd left.

Marco, seeing his old man return, asked with a grin, "So, pops, was the other world fun?"

Whitebeard narrowed his eyes, recalling his experiences, and chuckled. "There were sights I'd never seen before, but I prefer home."

His gentle gaze swept over the family on the deck. He preferred quietly protecting his family to going to a world full of strangers.

"Marco," Whitebeard suddenly called out.

"What's up, pops?" Marco asked, puzzled.

"Set sail, towards the Calm Belt."

To protect his family, his current strength wasn't enough. He needed to get stronger.

To get stronger, he needed to spend money. To spend money, he needed to earn it. The best way for him to earn money right now was to hunt rare and exotic beasts.

In the vast ocean, no one knew how many strange and bizarre creatures were hidden. The Calm Belt, in particular, was a nest for monsters.

"Exotic beasts" referred to creatures different from ordinary beasts. The Sea Kings in the Calm Belt were considered the best among exotic beasts. In short, they were very special and valuable.

As for the difficulty of capturing them... for the world's strongest man, it was no problem at all.

"Let's sail!"

Marco shouted, and the pirates on the deck who hadn't passed out pulled out their Den Den Mushi to contact their comrades on the other ships, informing them to set sail.

Sailing ships glided along with the wind.

Grand Line, the first half, Marineford, Navy Headquarters.

In the office of the Fleet Admiral, Sengoku watched Garp flipping a coin and spoke in a cold tone, "If you break that coin, you won't be able to eat donuts for the rest of your life."

Garp shivered at the words, grabbed the coin, and explained, "Don't be so nervous. The Revival Coin needs the holder to confirm its use before it breaks. Dropping it might... not break it... right?"

Sengoku: "..."

Could you at least sound a little more confident?

"The Revival Coin, what do you plan to do with it?" Sengoku asked.

Garp spread his hand, looking at the dark gold coin resting in his palm. "I don't have anyone I particularly want to revive, so I plan to give it to someone who needs it."

"Who?" Sengoku pressed.

"Zeff, huh!" Garp said, holding the coin and shrugging lightly. "I think he could use it."

"I'll contact him later," Sengoku replied. It wasn't strange that he could reach Zeff, who had retired from the Navy. Old friends always kept ways to contact each other.

"What about you now?"

"I want to ask you something," Sengoku said, pushing up his glasses. "Who are you planning to give the remaining spot to?"

People who officially became members of the shop could recommend two people to become members.

"Haven't decided," Garp said, picking his nose.

"Give it to Vegapunk," Sengoku suggested. "Knowledge is wealth; we must bring him into our ranks."

"Alright, I have no objections," Garp said. "I'll give you the 'spot,' and you can find an opportunity to see Vegapunk yourself."

"Alright." Sengoku pondered what excuse to use to see Vegapunk.

Marvel Universe, New York.

The earth-shattering event had passed, but the ripples hadn't subsided. The initial live broadcast, along with videos recorded by some individuals, had spread far and wide, causing considerable aftershocks.

Spies from all over the world were flocking to New York. The FBI, CIA, and similar departments were undoubtedly going to be extremely busy for a while. However, even amidst their hectic schedules, those departments wouldn't forget to send people to bother Tony Stark.

Given Tony Stark's social standing and various other factors, the most those departments could do was occasionally pay him a visit, spouting nonsense and annoying him.

As for those visitors, he'd dismiss them if he could, and see them if he couldn't.

For instance...

"I'm sorry, what agency did you just say?" Tony Stark raised his hand, asking.

He suspected the other person's tongue hadn't straightened out when they said the name of the organization.

"Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, Mr. Stark," Coulson said with a smile.

"Hmm." Tony Stark nodded slightly, saying, "Change the name, it's too hard to remember."

"We'll consider your suggestion," Coulson said, his face beaming, not the least bit annoyed.

"Tch!" Tony Stark pouted, finding these types of people the most annoying. No matter what you said, they were always smiling, as if they couldn't get angry. Truly boring.

"Go on, tell me why you're looking for me. I'll tell you what I can."

"I'll tell you before I forget all the details, so there's no discrepancy with what I tell other departments."

"Great," Coulson's smile widened as Stark cooperated.

One person spoke, and the other recorded.

Stark's story was that those people were aliens who settled on Earth a long time ago. Some widely circulated myths recounted their deeds, but the stories had become distorted over time.

To add authenticity, Tony Stark elaborated on which myths each figure corresponded to.

Nine-Tailed Fox – Chinese mythology

Guanyin – Chinese mythology

Armor Giant – Japanese mythology

Fat Giant – Chinese Mythology

Monster – Greek Mythology Sea Monster

In short, Tony Stark's explanation was logical and convincing.

Steve and Bucky nodded repeatedly. It was a well-reasoned load of nonsense. If I didn't know the specifics, I would have believed it 100%.

As expected of you, Tony Stark! Smart people can really spin a yarn, just like Howard.

Ethan, who had heard it many times, stood to the side, responsible for catching any slip-ups and preventing Stark from saying the wrong thing.

The half-hour conversation ended, and both sides were satisfied.

"Well, that's all for today. Thank you for your cooperation," Coulson put away his recorder and notebook.

"It's nothing," Tony Stark waved a hand.

Coulson led his team away, staring at Steve Rogers for a long time as they retreated. A flicker of confusion crossed his eyes, but he didn't ask anything. He nodded slightly to Steve Rogers and then led his team out the door.

"Ugh! Finally done with that. So tiring," Tony Stark leaned back suddenly, hitting the back of the sofa chair and not moving. He lay sideways on the sofa like a salted fish.

Dealing with the endless agent organizations was a physical blow.

The money spent on feeding Godzilla was a mental blow.

If he had time, he could store enough materials to feed Godzilla, but things happened too suddenly...

Godzilla eats too much...

A satisfied Godzilla returned home after eating his fill, leaving a heartbroken Tony Stark alone...

At the entrance to Stark's villa, Coulson picked up his phone and answered.

"Sir, what's up?"

"Politicians across the country are dancing the Hydra. Investigate it on your way."

Coulson: "?"

Sir, are you kidding me?
