Chapter 137: The First One to Die Should Be Bibi Dong!
Whoosh!
Bibi Dong stared at the scroll displaying Yu Xiaogang, Fifteen Ton Douluo, and Falling Devil Douluo, her senses on high alert. Her face darkened as she shouted, "Who! Who's playing tricks? Show yourself!"
"Yu Xiaogang, don't you hate Bibi Dong?" On the scroll, Fifteen Ton Douluo looked at Yu Xiaogang, carried like a broken puppet, with a mocking smile. "She wiped out your clan and killed your father, and you feel nothing?"
Bibi Dong's eyes locked onto the scene, a wave of panic rising in her chest.
Yu Xiaogang's face stiffened. "This…"
Facing Fifteen Ton Douluo and Falling Devil Douluo, he was at a loss for words. Hate Bibi Dong? That would mean hating the Spirit Hall, including these two. His life was in their hands, and he still had to revive his family. But to say he didn't hate her?
"Just say what you want!" Fifteen Ton Douluo chuckled. "I know you hate the Spirit Hall. I told you in the carriage, you can't die without orders. Don't worry!"
Yu Xiaogang's expression tightened. He quickly stammered, "I swear! I've never hated the Spirit Hall!"
"Hypocrisy!" Falling Devil Douluo sneered. "I said we won't kill you, so we won't! Answer honestly!"
Yu Xiaogang cursed inwardly. Not kill him? Without orders? Who'd believe that? If they accidentally killed him, would the Spirit Hall punish two Titled Douluo for a useless Great Spirit Master like him? Damn it!
Studying their expressions, he took a cautious breath and asked, "Hate?"
"Hate?" Fifteen Ton Douluo's tone was calm.
Bibi Dong, watching the scroll, darkened further.
"Hate!" Yu Xiaogang's fear eased as he saw no reaction from the two. He realized they didn't get along with Bibi Dong—irreconcilable, even. If he spoke carefully, badmouthing only her, he'd be safe.
"Hate! Of course I hate!" Yu Xiaogang's face twisted with venom. "How can I not hate? She killed my father! Wiped out my clan! And said it was revenge for me! She's a lunatic!"
"Lunatic?" Fifteen Ton Douluo smirked. "Not a bad name."
"Lunatic?!" Bibi Dong, watching, instantly triggered her spirit possession. "It's fake! All lies! Xiaogang would never say that!" Her face contorted as her fifth and sixth soul skills flared.
"Die!" she roared, attacking the scroll.
Whoosh! A golden energy shield emerged, absorbing her attacks without a ripple. Bibi Dong's anger mixed with a chilling realization. "Who! Who is it?! Show yourself!"
The scroll continued, unfazed, the voices clear. Fifteen Ton Douluo asked, "You hate Bibi Dong that much? She said she did it to save you and wash away your past humiliations."
"For me?" Yu Xiaogang's voice trembled with rage. "I don't need her to wash away anything! Why did I study theory? Train disciples? To prove myself to my father, my family! I told her that clearly back then! She thought I wanted revenge on them? That's my father! My family! She's ruined everything!"
His body shook with fury, thinking of his father and clan, unseen for decades. He hated the Spirit Hall, but especially Bibi Dong—pure, unadulterated hatred.
Fifteen Ton Douluo and Falling Devil Douluo exchanged amused glances. Yu Xiaogang was unraveling. Any pity he once had for Bibi Dong was gone.
"The revenge for my father's murder—I can't forgive her!" Yu Xiaogang's eyes were bloodshot. "I hate her to the core!"
"Who?! Show yourself!" Bibi Dong screamed, attacking the scroll frantically. "Qian Renxue? Is it you? Rakshasa God? Come out!" Her voice echoed with desperation.
Qian Renxue, observing from above, frowned. "Teacher, can you calm her down?"
Su Yu glanced over. "Fine." A streak of golden light flashed across the scroll, binding Bibi Dong and sealing her mouth.
"Mmph! Mmph!" Bibi Dong struggled, but no matter how she thrashed or summoned her soul power, she couldn't move or speak. Slowly, her eyes cleared, but her fury remained. Forced to watch—who could it be? A god?
On the scroll, Falling Devil Douluo pressed, "You and Bibi Dong seemed close when reminiscing. But when it came to your family's destruction, you stayed calm?"
"Calm?" Yu Xiaogang's voice cracked. "How could I be calm? She said she'd wanted to do it for years because I was humiliated back then! Do you know how I felt? She's a madwoman! A real madwoman! How could I stay calm facing someone who might snap and kill me?"
His voice broke with pain. "If I'd known she was this insane, I'd have died before getting involved with her! Because of her, my life is ruined! My soul power, my soul ring, my family, my father—all gone! Even my theories are mocked! My father only expelled me, and she killed him for it! But what about her? What humiliation has she spared me? If anyone who humiliates me deserves death, she should be the first to die!"
Bibi Dong froze, struck as if by lightning.
