Alderon's POV
I stiffened immediately my hand felt the softness of her breast.
Elowen felt it—of course she did—because she leaned in closer, mistaking my tension for hesitation, not refusal.
Her voice brushed my ear like silk sharpened into a blade.
"Elowen—" I tried.
"What is it?" she whispered, lips grazing my cheek. "You're not… inexperienced, are you?"
"No," I said, too sharply.
She giggled, triumphant, and guided my hand more firmly against her breast as if claiming victory.
"Then what's the harm?"
Her lips found my neck, then my mouth. She deepened the kiss without waiting for permission. Then, with a slow, teasing motion, she loosened the top of her gown, letting one strap slide, revealing just enough of her skin to make her intentions unmistakable.
"Elowen," I warned.
But she pushed me backward until my legs hit the edge of the bed.
In one smooth movement, she pressed me down and climbed onto my lap, straddling me.
