While King and the others were picking rooms, Han Yu and his group headed to the reception room. They sipped tea as they casually chatted with Charles and Erik.
"Hey, where did you find these people? There's even a cyborg among them? Even Stark doesn't have something like that," Erik whispered to Han Yu.
"Oh, him," Han Yu replied casually. "None of them are from this world. They come from another world—very similar to our Earth, but with far more monsters. So 'heroes' became a special kind of profession there."
"In their world, all four of them are on the Hero Ranking. Guess—who do you think is the strongest, and who's the weakest?"
"Ahem… well… I think it's Saitama? He looks like he could be blown over by a breeze."
Because it sounded a bit offensive, Erik lowered his voice deliberately, afraid someone might hear and get upset.
Han Yu's gaze shifted to Charles. Charles nodded as well—his opinion was the same. He also thought Saitama was the weakest.
"And the strongest?" Han Yu asked.
"King? He's tall, muscular, and the aura around him feels powerful. His status in their world must be very high, right?" Charles guessed.
"You're half right," Han Yu said with a small laugh. "But the truth is the exact opposite of what you two said. Saitama is the strongest, and King is actually the weakest."
"No way—you're joking!"
Charles and Erik were both shocked. Saitama looked so dull and harmless—he was the strongest?
Han Yu took a sip of tea and said, "You'll know when you get the chance to spar with them. No amount of talking can convince you otherwise."
"Then we definitely have to spar!"
If Han Yu said he was the strongest, then he had to be the strongest. Still, it was hard for Charles and Erik to believe it without seeing it themselves. Even if appearance couldn't determine strength, this was going too far. Saitama looked exactly like some newbie who had just walked out of a beginner's village—claiming he was the strongest was hard to accept.
Charles and Erik were already planning when they could arrange a sparring session.
Watching the two whisper and discuss enthusiastically, Han Yu smiled. Just as he was about to take another sip of tea, his eyes narrowed slightly. A strange sensation rose from deep within—someone was observing him.
It was a powerful mental presence. Not as strong as his own, nor even close to Erik's telepathy. But he could tell the upper limit of that mental power was extremely high.
Han Yu sensed clearly that the person's current mental power was weak, yet somehow distinct and noticeable. Using the "Huanggang secret test papers" he had used to assess King and the others before, this person would instantly get a score of ninety-five!
"Right, Ultron mentioned that girl to me. She should already be here, right?" Han Yu asked.
"Yeah, she's upstairs. Give me a second—I'll call her." Charles turned and shouted upward, "Jean, come down and meet our new friends!"
A moment later, soft hesitant footsteps echoed from the stairs—sometimes stopping, sometimes starting again. Whoever it was sounded nervous about coming down.
A small head with dark red hair peeked out from behind the stair railing, quietly watching them, clearly shy.
"Jean, don't be afraid. Come here," Charles beckoned.
Jean Grey hesitated for a few seconds, then finally walked over.
"Let me introduce you," Charles said. "This is Han Yu, our principal. And this is Jean Grey—our very first student. We still don't fully understand her abilities yet."
"Hello, Jean," Han Yu greeted with a gentle smile.
A soft ray of sunlight passed through the window and lit up his profile. Combined with his already handsome features, his clear eyes made him naturally likable. His smile had the warm feel of a gentle, dependable older brother.
Jean's face flushed slightly. She avoided eye contact, not daring to look at him directly. She didn't say anything, but she gave a small nod as greeting.
"Han, are you free? How about we go spar? You can also explain their powers to me—it'll help with our future teaching plans."
Charles made the suggestion. Since Han Yu knew Saitama's group well, having him explain their abilities directly was far better than waiting for everyone to get familiar on their own.
Han Yu considered this and nodded. "That works. The sooner we understand the abilities around us, the better for teaching later."
"Your place?" he asked.
"No need. We have a special training facility underground. I spent a fortune and worked three days and three nights with Erik to build it—literally three full days and nights." Charles couldn't help bragging.
Han Yu looked surprised. "You built it yourselves?"
Charles spoke as he walked. "Of course. We couldn't let outsiders handle something like that. We did get a little outside help, but publicly we only said it was a 'high-grade escape room design.' All the materials are aerospace-grade. According to the X-System calculations, that place can withstand combat output from mutants below Level 4."
"Below Level 4? That's impressive," Han Yu said. "Level 3 mutants are already elite—pretty destructive. I thought you might need help from my General Store."
"Hey, I was the first person you recruited, wasn't I? I can't only rely on superpowers," Charles joked.
Han Yu smiled silently. This was exactly what he wanted—a school he could help, not one he had to run entirely by himself.
He wasn't some saint with unlimited energy to pour into everything.
"Saitama! Are you done packing? Hurry down!"
Han Yu shouted toward the upper floor, using a bit of mental power to ensure the sound reached all four of them clearly.
In no time, the group came downstairs. Han Yu briefly explained that they'd be showcasing their abilities. They agreed readily—after all, they came here to teach. It was good for fellow instructors to understand each other's abilities.
"Everyone's here? Then let's go."
Charles led the group toward a stairwell. When he opened the side door beside the stairs—it revealed an elevator.
The elevator was shockingly spacious, able to hold more than twenty people at once.
Inside, there was only one button. After it descended for several minutes, it finally reached the bottom—who knew how deep it was.
When the doors opened, a corridor stretched ahead. It wasn't long; one could clearly see a large silver metal door at the end, marked with a large X.
Charles walked up and glanced at the scanner.
A chime sounded.
"Welcome, Professor Charles."
