Chapter 66 - Departure

After shaking his head with a chuckle, Han Yu left.

Back at the hotel, Han Yu, who never took the usual route, leaped up from the ground floor to the window. The height of over ten meters was effortless for him. Pushing open the window, Han Yu was taken aback by the scene before him.

Faint moonlight spilled in from the window, illuminating the bed and shining on the beautiful woman's face. Golden hair cascaded over her shoulders, making her exquisite face appear and disappear in the shadows.

"You're back," Eri Na's reaction was unexpectedly calm, not seeming too surprised that Han Yu had gone out in the middle of the night. "Everything taken care of?"

Han Yu nodded, closed the window, and said, "Yes, it's all resolved. Everything's fine."

Watching Han Yu walk towards the sofa, intending to lie down, Eri Na spoke, "Hey, how about... how about you sleep with me... No, I, I mean, you sleep on one side, and I sleep on the other, because this bed is really big..."

By the end, Eri Na's voice was getting softer, and even in the darkness of the room, Han Yu could almost see her charming face, flushed with red.

"Well... I won't be polite then."

Han Yu walked over and actually lay down on the other side. Perhaps because Eri Na had slept there, the pillow and quilt had a faint fragrance, Eri Na's scent.

He could almost feel Eri Na's suddenly stiff body on the other side of the quilt.

"Sleep well, we have to get up early tomorrow," Han Yu said softly, turning his back.

"Oh..."

With her peripheral vision, Eri Na saw Han Yu turn over. The fists she had clenched slowly relaxed, her palms already slightly sweaty.

For some reason, she felt a sense of emptiness in her heart.

The next day.

"Ugh, what's pressing on me?"

Han Yu was roused by a feeling of pressure on his body. Yawning, he lifted the covers and saw Eri Na asleep on top of him.

Her octopus-like sleeping position made it hard to believe she was such an aloof goddess when she was out and about.

Han Yu carefully tried to push her away. After all, she was only wearing a nightgown, and that thin piece of cloth couldn't block the strange sensation of her body against his.

This early in the morning, he was worried something might happen.

Han Yu moved slightly, but it woke Eri Na. They stared at each other for three seconds before a sharp shriek filled the room.

Han Yu, heading downstairs to eat, received a lot of attention. On the one hand, it was because of his performance last night, knocking out an eighty-level Soul Sage who was defending with all their might. On the other hand, it was because of the obvious red handprint on his right cheek.

Han Yu lowered his head, his face a mask of misery. You climbed on top of me yourself! He thought. I didn't do anything, so how is this my fault?

Eri Na walked in front of him, her figure as perfect as ever. She walked with a breeze, and her temperament was outstanding. But at this moment, her face was flushed, and her mind seemed to have crashed, completely oblivious to the gazes of those around her.

"Aaaah, I was just lying on top of him! I don't think I was wearing anything underneath… Did he touch me? What… what… what do I do? Did he do anything weird? But if he did… what do I do? I don't seem to mind…"

Eri Na's mind was racing, replaying everything that happened before she woke up, focusing on Han Yu's actions. The imagined scenarios, both good and bad, were almost enough to fill a novel.

In the end, Han Yu had to stop her, or she would have walked right out of the hotel lost in thought.

At breakfast, Han Yu and Eri Na ran into the Shrek Seven Devils again.

Zhao Wuji had also woken up. Remembering what happened the night before, his face flushed. Losing was one thing, but getting knocked out by the opponent was another. How was he supposed to face his students now?

Zhao Wuji nodded at Han Yu without a word and led the Shrek Seven Devils to a table further away.

Ma Hongjun couldn't help but glance at Eri Na, but a nudge from his companion made him reluctantly look away.

This was a formidable person who had defeated even their teacher, Zhao Wuji. It was best not to provoke them.

Tang San occasionally glanced at Han Yu, undoubtedly curious about the Clear Sky Hammer spirit soul on the latter. However, he couldn't find a reason to ask.

The disparity in strength between the two was vast. Even if Han Yu's Clear Sky Hammer spirit soul had been obtained through some unsavory means, Tang San would be powerless.

After all, he was only at level twenty-nine. Even Zhao Wuji, at level eighty, wasn't his match. If he rashly intervened, he'd just end up as another corpse on the ground.

"Are you full? We should go."

Han Yu checked his watch. This watch displayed the date, time, and year in any world, adapting to the local settings. It was already seven in the morning.

Eri Na wiped her mouth with a napkin and nodded.

Seeing this, Han Yu stood up and went to the front desk to check out. The group left together.

As soon as they left the town, Han Yu took off running. Ace and Xiao Yan easily kept up, but Eri Na lagged slightly behind.

Along the way, Han Yu and the other two maintained a steady pace, a test and training for her.

Compared to the long road of cultivation ahead, this simple running might be the easiest form of training. So, Eri Na didn't complain, doing her best to keep up with Han Yu.

"Where are we going?"

Eri Na found a pace that suited her, not too tiring, and not too far behind Han Yu and the others. She stayed a few steps behind them and asked.

"A forest with many soul beasts, called the Star Dou Great Forest. We should be able to find a suitable martial soul there," Han Yu's voice drifted from the front.

"Star Dou Great Forest? Is that where this country raises soul beasts?"

Xiao Yan asked. Soul Masters needed soul rings, so raising them to avoid the trouble of finding soul beasts wasn't unusual.

"No, it's similar to the Demonic Beast Mountain Range in your country, Brother Yan. It's a gathering place for soul beasts, all wild."

"Don't underestimate the Star Dou Great Forest. Its area is probably even larger than the Magical Beast Mountain Range, and it's filled with Soul Beasts that are tens of thousands of years old!"

"Here, take this." Han Yu handed Eri Na a small, deep blue ring.

"This is…?" Eri Na stared blankly at the ring she received, a blush creeping up her cheeks. A boy giving a girl a ring... what did this mean?

Han Yu tapped her head and said, "What are you thinking? This is a Storage Ring. It's for storing things. Imprint it with some soul power, and then you can take things out with a thought."

Eri Na curiously examined the Storage Ring in her hand and asked, "How big is it inside?"

Han Yu turned to look at her, smiling. "It should be big enough for you to store anything you want for the next hundred years."
