Far from the God Archipelago, in a dark fortress built into a jagged mountain, two figures walked through a long stone corridor.
Darius Draconia walked with slow, heavy steps.
Beside him was Pelion.
The Chimera General moved calmly, hands behind his back, as if this place belonged to him.
At the end of the corridor stood a massive black door.
Two guards opened it immediately.
Pelion stepped inside, and Darius followed.
The room beyond was wide and dimly lit.
At the center of the hall a young man sat on a throne. He looked so relaxed.
But the moment Darius stepped inside, the young man raised his eyes.
Pelion stopped walking. "My lord."
The young man waved his hand casually. "Relax, Pelion."
His eyes shifted toward Darius. "So…"
He leaned back in his chair. "You are Darius Draconia, huh?"
Darius stood straight. "Yes."
The young man studied him for a moment. "To think the great Draconia Clan has fallen so low."
