Garion frowned as he looked down at his right hand.
It felt heavy.
When he tried to clench his fist, the movement lagged behind his intent.
Morveth laughed quietly.
"Did you really think," he said, "that I can only seal mana?"
Garion lifted his eyes.
Morveth straightened his back, the runes carved into his body glowing faintly.
"I am a Demon Count," he continued. "I don't just lock power. I lock actions."
He raised one hand slightly.
"I sealed your arm with [Lock of Judgement]."
Garion looked again.
That was when he noticed it.
Thin, glowing runes had appeared along his right forearm, wrapping around the muscles and joints like restraints etched into his skin.
Garion blinked once.
"…Huh."
Morveth watched him closely.
"Even now," Morveth said, "you can still move it. That alone tells me how abnormal your body is."
Garion smiled.
"You're really impressive," he said honestly. "I'll give you that."
He flexed his fingers again, slowly.
