He smiled, sitting closely next to her.
"Did you know it was me?" he asked. Well, he did provide a clue. He was thankful she caught on to it, especially since it was so vague like 'met you at the Inn''.
She looked at him. "I knew it was you the moment I saw you," she said. "I will always recognize you."
Finn flinched, his eyes (and face) warming up even more.
"How are you? And what are you doing here? Did those enemies who injure you—"
She nodded. "For now, that problem has been settled," she said. "Thanks to you, I had enough strength to deal with them."
"I'm glad," he said, his head feeling a bit heavy. He leaned down, and his forehead ended up resting on Syl's shoulder. "It is unexpected to see you here, but I am glad. How long will you be staying?"
"I am staying here for the night before heading to Nisgard City."
He blinked. Nisgard City was the Capital City of the Humans.
"Vacationing or for a task?" he asked.
