I talked with Mira for a while, digging for gossip and storing everything in my mind. This way, I probably could tell my husband all the tea later.
"He wanted coffee from his favorite coffee shop, but since it was closed yesterday, the staff had to look for another branch farther away." Mira took a long breath, trying to calm her anger. "And he refused to continue the script reading until he got his coffee."
There were so many bad things Samuel did yesterday, but at least he didn't try to harass his female co-workers.
While I was still chatting with Mira, I saw Marissa from a distance giving me a signal to come to her.
"I'm sorry, Mira, but it seems like my manager wants to talk to me about something," I politely cut her off. "Let's talk again later."
Mira chuckled. "Yeah, yeah, I actually need to read my script again right now. Talking about Samuel really can take up a lot of time."
