"N-Nymeria, those memories, why..."
Nymeria placed her finger on Taranis's lips and slowly moved her forehead away from his.
From her neck, she removed a locket, the same locket she had given him when he left for the war against demons, and placed it around Taranis' neck.
Her face carried a bright smile, and a tear rolled down the corner of her eye.
Along with the tear, blood flowed from her eyes, nose, and mouth as she whispered in a barely audible voice,
"Goodbye, Taranis."

Few minutes earlier...
"So she is really going to marry that trash tomorrow," Aurelion muttered in a low voice as the guards opened the door to his room.
"We tried to convince her countless times," Lunaria replied, carrying the same troubled expression on her face. "She is not a child anymore."
The duo entered the room and sat on the bed as Aurelion continued,
"It is our failure as parents that we could not guide her to the proper path."
