Aethon wasn't the only one who made a move. The instant he sprinted toward Taranis, Robert vanished from his chair as well, murderous intent blazing in his eyes as he targeted Aethon.
However, just as he was about to leave the tower, Titan appeared before him, blocking his path.
That momentary distraction was enough for Aethon to reach Taranis below.
A booming explosion resounded across the stage a split second after Aethon left the tower.
Everyone's attention snapped toward the source of destruction.
"If even a scratch appears on Lucifer's skin, I will slaughter both you and Aeth—" Robert muttered in restrained fury, but his words halted mid-sentence as his gaze shifted downward.
On the stage, Lucifer was still seated atop Ignis, completely unscathed. Beside him, Aethon had been slammed into the ground, a crater of spiderweb cracks spreading outward from his body.
