Nymeria held my hand tightly and gave a frowned look to the ladies as we walked past them.
"So that woman was his beloved," Silvia's murmuring came from behind. "No wonder he wasn't interested in us. We were no match for her beauty."
"Kyaaaa! Did you see how she gave us death stares as she passed by?" Aris exclaimed. "She was so jealous that we flirted with her lover."
Nymeria's face turned red hearing their comments, and she took quick steps outside the shop.
"For how long were you listening?" I asked.
"From the point when that woman told you her name," she replied, tucking the strands of her hair behind her ears.
"So you were eavesdropping from the start?"
"I wasn't eavesdropping. I thought it would be disrespectful to interrupt your conversation."
"Huuu," I smirked, obviously not believing her. "So it wasn't disrespectful to interrupt our handshake?"
