Thompson visibly froze for a moment.

"What's going on? Is this Thompson messing with Su Yi?"
"Thompson's such a jerk! Is he planning to humiliate Su Yi later?"
"Poor Su Yi, being targeted by the school bully Thompson!"
Su Yi heard the murmurs around him.
But he didn't care. Instead, he taunted Thompson, "What's wrong? Why aren't you going for the ball? Or are you not capable?"
Thompson stared at the upturned corners of Su Yi's mouth, his expression freezing.
"Fuck! Give me the ball!"
Thompson cursed, his muscles visibly bulging. His entire demeanor became frenzied.
He wrapped his hands around the basketball, using all his might.
The basketball in Su Yi's hands, however, remained completely still!
"You! How the hell did you do that!"
Thompson growled at Su Yi.
He was sure Su Yi was cheating.
Su Yi just smiled and suddenly released his grip.
The basketball was instantly freed from Su Yi's grasp.
Thompson went sprawling backward, collapsing onto the floor.
He was flailing his arms and legs, looking utterly ridiculous!
Everyone around, even knowing Thompson's terrible personality, couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight.
Even Peter Parker had a slight smile on his face.
The fear he'd felt toward Thompson had largely dissipated, thanks to Su Yi's actions.

"Hey, I'll have someone bring over a new hoop. And Thompson, don't let me see you bullying the weak again, alright?"
Su Yi turned his back to Thompson, who was utterly stunned, waved his hand dismissively, and walked towards the exit of the court.
Everyone instinctively cleared a path for Su Yi.
Just then, Hannah emerged from the school building.
Like a swallow returning to its nest, she ran towards Su Yi.
She threw herself into Su Yi's arms.
She squeezed herself tightly against Su Yi, inhaling his scent deeply.
