However, what struck it the most was the existence of Uchiha Itachi, a genius of the Uchiha clan, renowned for his genjutsu.
The Nine-Tails couldn't forget how it was controlled back then; that mysterious individual, with a pair of Sharingan, controlled it into a rampage in just an instant.
In other words, the Sharingan was a perfect counter against Tailed Beasts, or rather, against it.
Among the four people who had currently arrived in this other world, three possessed Sharingan. Even if it broke free from the seal, it would be meaningless; it would still be controlled.

Everyone else was fighting, but he was left behind. Naruto couldn't accept this at all.
Kakashi's reason for this arrangement was simple: his points were too terrifying, several times more than even the strongest Gojo Satoru, but he couldn't utilize them himself, as that was the Nine-Tails' power.
After much thought, Naruto came up with a good solution: ask the Nine-Tails to lend him power. If he could truly use this power, then his points wouldn't just be an inflated number.

The Nine-Tails had little negative emotion left; most of it was just morning grumpiness from being woken up by Naruto, which quickly vanished.

"I don't know, but this is our only option. Kakashi and the others haven't returned yet, which clearly means they've encountered a formidable enemy."
