Yi Xinglong sneered at their grim expressions. "Relax. I'll make this quick for you.""No need to worry about Earth's fate anymore."
The seven-star Dragon Ball embedded in his body glowed with an eerie light.
Goku's eyes widened in alarm. "Run, now!!!"
Yi Xinglong's whole body erupted with a blinding red aura—
BOOM!!!
The battlefield exploded. Smoke and dust rolled across the sky.
Goten, Pan, and the others flew desperately to safety. But Yi Xinglong instant-transmitted, cutting them off. In just a few strikes, the Dragon Warriors were crushed and scattered.
Goku himself was smashed into the ground by a brutal elbow, crashing deep underground.
Yi Xinglong floated down slowly, surveying the wreckage. The Z-Fighters lay motionless across the field.
From the rubble, Goku staggered back up, teeth clenched. "I… I haven't lost yet!"
Yi Xinglong smirked. "Not for long, Son Goku. I'll give you a taste of heaven."
He blinked and appeared behind Goku. "You'll see how sweet release can be."
But Goku grinned. "Then let's see how you like it first."
Yi Xinglong swung an elbow—only for Goku to teleport behind him and lock onto his arm with a vice grip.
"Bastard! Let me go!" Yi Xinglong snarled, thrashing wildly.
Goku held on with everything he had. "Vegeta… the move you used against Buu. I'll use it here to finish him!"
Golden energy burst from Goku's body, engulfing Yi Xinglong in a terrifying blaze.
Gohan, just coming to, stared in horror. "Dad's… he's turning his life force into energy! He's going to self-destruct!""Dad… are you really planning to take him down with you?"
Goku roared back, "It's the only way! If even this doesn't work, then… I'll just give up everything!"
Yi Xinglong's face twisted in panic. "Stop! Stop it!!!"
Suddenly, a voice cut through the chaos. "Kakarot, don't be a fool!"
"Vegeta?!" Goku gasped.
"You think that'll kill him? If you die, Earth dies too!"
In an instant, Vegeta appeared behind Goku. Yi Xinglong broke free of the hold and darted away.
Vegeta's face brimmed with confidence. "Now… the real fight begins."
Goku gave a bitter laugh. "The real fight? Against this monster, one slip and we're both dust."
"You think I came here unprepared?" Vegeta smirked. "Kakarot… I've become a Super Saiyan 4."
Goku's jaw dropped.
But even as he spoke, a flicker of doubt crossed Vegeta's mind. Bulma… what's taking so long?
At that moment, Bulma's voice rang out as a sleek jet soared in overhead. A small device dropped from the plane.
Goku blinked. "What's that?"
"The Super Bruits Wave Generator!" Bulma shouted back.
"You're late, woman! Hurry it up!" Vegeta barked.
"Oh, stop whining. I got here as fast as I could!" Bulma huffed, clearly used to his tone.
Vegeta didn't bother arguing. "Enough talk. Do it!"
"Already on it," Bulma said with a wry smile. "Super Bruits Wave—fire!"
The machine hummed, unleashing strange energy that poured straight into Vegeta.
Goku's eyes widened. He recognized it instantly. That's the same device that turned Baby into a Great Ape…!
The energy struck Vegeta, and with a thunderous roar his body began to grow.
"He's transforming?!" Gohan gasped. "No… he's turning into a Great Ape!"
Within seconds, the battlefield shook under the massive form of a golden-furred ape.
"Stop, Aunt Bulma!" Gohan shouted. "If Vegeta loses control, he'll destroy everything!"
"Don't be so dramatic," Bulma shot back. "This is the only way for him to reach Super Saiyan 4. Didn't Goku manage just fine?"
"It's too dangerous!" Gohan protested.
Bulma's tone sharpened. "Dangerous? If we don't stop that monster, Earth is doomed anyway. Vegeta and I are willing to take the risk."
But as the transformation finished, Vegeta's Great Ape form roared and rampaged, blasting the ground with crimson energy balls.
Yi Xinglong dodged one with a scoff. Goku groaned, sweat beading on his forehead. Just what we needed—an out-of-control Vegeta…
He floated upward, only to be caught in Vegeta's massive fist.
"It's me, Vegeta! Snap out of it!" Goku shouted.
Yi Xinglong laughed cruelly. "So this is your 'real fight'? Two monkeys tearing each other apart? Pathetic."
"Vege…taaa!" Goku's strained voice echoed across the battlefield.

A younger Vegeta from the Frieza era stared in disbelief. "Friends? With Kakarot?! Impossible! He's my rival, my enemy!" He snarled in confusion. "Damn you, Kakarot!"
Naruto World:
Naruto leaned toward the screen, eyes wide. "So Vegeta turned into a monster too? Guess in the Dragon Ball world, the main characters are all monsters… Just like me with the Nine-Tails. That means I'm the protagonist too!"

He released Goku from his grasp.
Goku's face lit up with joy. "Vegeta… that's incredible!"
Pan stared in shock. "That's just like when Grandpa transformed…"
Trunks clenched his fists in excitement. "Dad's… he's about to become Super Saiyan 4!"
Bulma sighed, half exasperated, half proud. "That idiot… always pushing it too far."
The golden flames engulfed Vegeta completely. His form contracted, reshaping itself. With one final roar, a blinding flash forced everyone to shield their eyes.
When the light cleared, Vegeta floated in the sky—his body transformed, his power radiating.
Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta locked eyes with Goku and smirked.
"Kept you waiting, Kakarot."
