Goku was sent flying skyward.
In an instant, Super 17's body flickered into a ghostly blur as he shot up after him, unleashing a storm of golden energy blasts. The orbs detonated across Goku's body, exploding in blinding flashes that drowned the entire battlefield in gold.
Goku plummeted, crashing into the ground with a deafening boom. A massive crater split open where he landed.
Dr. Myuu's face lit up with manic glee."Perfect! Absolutely perfect!" he shouted. "As expected of the masterpiece Dr. Gero poured his soul into! Though Gero never realized—I built in my own system. Super 17 doesn't obey him at all. He belongs only to me!"
From the rubble, Goku pulled himself upright, brushing dust from his battered body."So… you think you've figured out my moves?" he said with a wry grin. "That's a little naive, don't you think?"
With a flash, he transformed again—his golden aura erupting like wildfire. Raising his hands, he fired a devastating blast that exploded against Super 17 in a thunderous wave.
Goku pointed at him, smiling like a child showing off a trick."See? You didn't read me at all."
But Super 17 emerged completely unscathed, his face blank, as though nothing had touched him.
"You bastard!" Goku snarled.
He raised his palms, hurling a barrage of golden blasts. Smoke swallowed the battlefield.
When it cleared, Super 17 walked out calmly, arms spread wide, utterly unharmed.
Goku's eyes widened."No way… those all hit him! How is it doing nothing?!"
On the sidelines, Dr. Myuu sneered."Idiot. Go on, keep firing all the energy blasts you like!"
"Fine then!" Goku roared. "Try this on for size—Kame…hame…HA!"
White-blue light burst in his palms and surged forward, tearing across the field. Super 17 didn't even try to dodge—he took the wave head-on.
Then, with a guttural shout, he absorbed the entire Kamehameha into his body.
His aura erupted, power surging as he rocketed forward and slammed a fist into Goku's face. The force sent Goku tumbling down into the ocean below.
Super 17 dove after him.
Beneath the waves, Goku reverted to his base form, stunned."This guy… impossible! He took my Kamehameha and didn't even flinch. His power's rising—his speed, his strength… everything's going up!" He clenched his teeth. "Did he really see through all of my moves?"
Super 17 hovered above the water."Come out, Son Goku! Don't tell me a little attack like that finished you off!"
Suddenly, the sea lit up. The waves churned, beams of light spearing upward from the depths.
A crimson silhouette erupted from below, wrapped in blazing gold—Super Saiyan 4 Goku had arrived.
Super 17's face went slack with shock."W-what are you?!"
Goku's voice rang out, fierce and proud."Not surprising you're shaken. I'm Super Saiyan 4, Son Goku! And now—you're finished!"
He unleashed a storm of golden blasts, hammering Super 17 like a barrage of bullets.
But Super 17 only closed his eyes, almost savoring it.
With a final roar, Goku charged his ultimate strike, detonating the battlefield in a sea of gold.
Yet Super 17 only smirked.
On the sidelines, Dr. Myuu laughed with cruel satisfaction."Fool! As long as you don't realize what I've hidden inside him, you'll never win. Every blast you throw only fuels him. The more energy you give, the stronger he becomes!"
The explosions painted the sky, and as the smoke cleared, Super 17 fell slowly, smiling.
Goku dove after him, firing blast after blast—but every single one was sucked into his opponent's body.
"This is wrong," Goku realized, frowning. "He's taking my hits on purpose… and he said he's already figured out all my attacks. Could it be…?"
The truth struck him like lightning. Every energy wave he fired had vanished, swallowed whole.
Super 17 sneered."Finally catching on? But it's too late. I've absorbed more than enough power. I can't be defeated now."
Then, to his surprise, Goku disappeared from sight.
Super 17 rose higher, scanning the terrain—only for a massive stone pillar to erupt, exploding apart as Goku blasted free.
"This ends here! Tenfold Kamehameha!"
The air shook as a terrifying light gathered in his hands.
Meanwhile, back in the Dragon Ball world—
Inside Dr. Gero's laboratory, the old scientist scowled at his monitors."So… Super 17 really does have energy absorption. When I designed 17, I didn't bother giving him that function—he was already the ultimate warrior! I only equipped energy-draining systems on weaker models, like 19. Damn that Myuu, sneaking this into my creation! No matter. I'll redesign 17. One day, Myuu will regret betraying me!"
His laughter echoed through the lab, maniacal and sharp.

But the sheer power of the attack was monstrous. Super 17's body swelled, lightning crawling across his skin, his mouth twitching with a manic smile as drool spilled from his lips. Red sparks flared around him, his body crackling with violent energy.
Only after several long moments did the explosion fade, leaving a massive crater in its wake.
At the bottom, Super 17 stood—body still swollen, face twisted with madness, wreathed in a sinister red aura. Slowly, his form stabilized, the energy settling back into him.
He had survived. Not only that—he had absorbed the Tenfold Kamehameha.
From above, Goku's voice rang out, grim but steady."I knew it. You absorbed even that attack."
Super 17 threw his head back and laughed."You wasted such power just to confirm it? Hilarious!"
