"Wow! He's down! Wuriqiu landed a heavy hook while Jason was dodging, sending him crashing into the ropes. My god, what power! Jason looks dazed, and Wuriqiu is closing in. Can he hold on?"
"Oh, brutal! First the body, then the head—this fight should be over. Wuriqiu may not be fast, but his power is devastating. That's a knockout blow if I've ever seen one!"
When Jason fell, Brown and Raul panicked. Those punches had been vicious. Winning didn't matter anymore—they feared for his safety.
Brown grabbed his own hair. If Jason was seriously hurt, how could he explain it?
Confident, Wuriqiu raised his arms and strutted around the ring. He knew his own Strength—Jason had taken three clean shots. There was no way he'd get up.
The referee rushed over to check.
Those blows had done real damage—far worse than Jason's knockdown against Morduk. He was completely unconscious.
Inside his mind, all was dark, like falling endlessly into a void.
He didn't know how long it lasted—maybe a blink, maybe forever. Suddenly, a spark of light appeared. The next instant, light flooded in. Jason regained thought and consciousness. He felt his eyelids being pried open—the referee staring into his eyes.
"Ding. Critical damage detected. Collapse condition met. Unyielding Body talent activated. Warning: Effect lasts three minutes. Establish an advantage quickly. Afterward, you will enter a weakened state until the match ends."
The referee froze. At first, Jason's eyes were dull and vacant. But in less than a second, his pupils contracted, light returned, sharp and alive.
The referee's hands shook. Suddenly, Jason stood up. Startled, the referee fell flat on his backside.
Wuriqiu, still celebrating, stopped cold, staring in shock.
The arena fell silent.
Even Brown and Raul gaped in disbelief.
Jason, however, felt a burning energy inside him. Each time Unyielding Body triggered, a strange surge filled his body, almost suffocating him.
He wanted the fight to resume immediately. He pulled the referee up, threw a few shadow punches, dodged twice—showing he was ready.
But the more normal he acted, the more monstrous it seemed.
Was he even human?
Others knocked down by heavy punches could barely stand. He had been unconscious seconds ago, and now he was bouncing like he'd taken a stimulant.
Impossible—but undeniable.
The referee checked again, nervous. But every sign said Jason was fine. The referee began doubting himself.
The crowd waited in silence. Miracle or last flare?
Then, the referee raised Jason's fists and declared, "The match continues!"
The arena erupted.
The commentator roared: "Unbelievable! Jason Luo is cleared to fight! A miracle has just happened! Thirteen thousand fans in this arena have witnessed it!"
Jason was nearly bursting with energy, waiting for this.
The moment the referee stepped back, he charged faster than Wuriqiu. Who cared who the opponent was? First, he had to burn off this suffocating surge.
Before over ten thousand fans, Jason Luo—just moments after collapsing—launched a frenzied offensive. To burn energy fast, he went all out, tongue pressed to his teeth, firing seventy or eighty punches in one breath.
Wuriqiu was stunned.
No fight had ever been like this.
In Unyielding Body state, Jason's Attributes rose 15%. Before, with low stats, the boost had limited effect. But now, with most Attributes in the mid-teens and both Toughness and Heavy Punch at sixteen, the boost was huge.
With that increase, the difference was stark. Wuriqiu had planned to meet him head-on, but the first exchange told him something was wrong—Jason's punches hit at a whole new level.
Heavy, fast blows poured in. Wuriqiu couldn't defend. Cover left—hit right. Cover high—hit low.
After several shots, Wuriqiu stumbled back.
The arena exploded. Men tore off shirts, hurled drinks, popcorn flew.
Pure adrenaline.
Three punches had knocked Jason unconscious. He rose like a miracle, then hammered his opponent so hard he couldn't lift his head. What fight could be more thrilling?
"Knock him out! Get revenge!"
"That's it! No waiting—strike now! Jason Luo, you're a real man! I'll follow you for life—get revenge!"
"Revenge! Revenge!"
The arena roared as one: "Revenge!"
Thirteen thousand voices thundered through Chicago.
At ringside, Brown and Raul clenched their fists, tears in their eyes, shouting: "Go, Jason! Today you are the pride of Chicago!"
