Screams echoed through the deeps of Soul's mind as he found himself more disillusioned with dream and reality and his own purpose
He stared into the snadowly deeps of the cave,his focused now shifted from the Noblewoman and immediately felt a sense of dread wash over him,the sound of feet steps echoed along the cave and the slow dropping of water from the sealing
Preparing to face whatever is on the other side the two stood shoulder to shoulder there hands balled into fist
To there surpise it was nothing but a snow bunny,they sighed in relief and turn away from the bunny but the sound of breaking bones and flash tearing coursed their eyes to widen and there pulses to quicken
The noblewoman the first to turn screamed in terror as the bunny now a sick combination of human corpses and teeth stared at them with a predatory gaze
Without hesitation it charged at him with surprising speed and as it seemed to freeze infront of him the only thought that echoed through his mind was survive
Soul lapper out of the way narrowly avoiding any attack from the creature with turned on its feet to attack once more,the noblewoman
Fangs drawn lapped towards the beast biting down on whatever she could and stretched the beasts skin
A agonised howl escaped from the beasts mouth before it throw her off and disappeared back into the darkness of the cave leaving only small puddles of its back blood
The noblewoman wiping get mouth in disgust turned to face Soul who kneeled motionless on the ground shivering with an almost forced smile on his face and his wide fearfulled eyes staring at the blood
She stalked closer and kneeled besides him offering him comfort in the from of a hug while her eyes stared at him with predatory intent and a grin was edged into her pale white face
Her embrace was like a cold winter breeze,cold and unforgiving as was the screams that filled Soul's mind threatening to drive him insane as the world began to distort the screams only grew in strength and number
Helping him to his feet the noblewoman offered Soul get shoulder as she helped him walk out deeper into the cave
"Wh...where are we going!?"Soul whispered in a busy, trembling tone before turning his head to face the noblewoman who had a almost feral look in her eyes
She didn't bother to answer him instead tossed him onto her shoulder and began speeding up with a sadistic grin growing on get face .
The cave seemed to stretch and turn each corner seemingly longer and...the more they traveled into the maze of the mountain cave
Souls minded seemingly unraveled at the seems .
Visions filled his mind,visions of the past,of the present and of the future and at the center of it all was a massive hand outstretched towards the sun it's fingers greedy trying to grasp the impossible and screams of the damned sucked into its shadowy depths its.As he stood in a river of blood he could only marvel at the sight and see the sky's above turn a bloody red.
Then in an instant it all vanished leaving Soul staring at the cave wall,his vision blurred and head thubbing in pain with a buzz in his ears.
The sound of chewing and cracking bikes soon followed along with the screams of a woman, Soul looking ahead sees the noblewoman laying on the ground her clothing torn and mouth wide open as inhuman screams left from her mouth and her guts layed on the ground being eaten by what seemed to be a human.
Soul hands trembled as he watched the scene before him, he fell to his knees and his chest seemed to cave,he took shallow breathes unable to look away from the creature and the fading light from the noblewoman
As the creature opened it's maw greedy putting the noblewoman's organs into it's mouth as it grew in size and hunger it's stomach rumbled.
It raised up to its full height then turned it's head slight to be met by Souls fist causing it to stumble back onto the ground
Soul seeing his opportunity grabbed the Noblewoman mutilated body and carried it on his back, Runnin' as fast as he can trying to create distance between him and the creature but as he glanced back he caught a glimpse of It,the creature's pale gray skin and it's deer look horns as it roared and chased after them
"Idiot you shouldn't have saved me "the Noblewoman hissed from her bloodied mouth"I would have been fine with your help"
Soul his jaw tensing ,ran faster, held the noblewoman remaining arm tightly ,a determined look fixed in his eyes
"Trust me I was planning but seeing you get eaten by that thing was enough to change my mind and how the hell are you still alive!?"
The noblewoman a sneer appearing on her face glanced over Soul's shoulder as a year come down her pale blood stained cheeks
'The weak are preyed on by the strong,that's how this cruel world works but why did this little mouse save me,this is unacceptable'
The noblewoman eyes flashed a deeper shade of crimson and her fangs grew longer
"Your nothing but a pathetic slave who couldn't save his own comrades,what right do you have to save me"she growled into Souls ear her face flushed with rage and hatred
Soul his body tensing ducks to the side and gets slashed by the creature's claw narrowly avoiding any serious wounds,dashing away he notices a bright white light and with relief setting in a small smile appeared on his face
But as he reached the light,he fell along with the noblewoman into a vale,the Noblewoman fall was slightly less problem due to Soul,who groaned in pain
"How can a valley exist in a mountain,oh god I hope I wake up soon"Soul weeped while rubbing his cheek and getting to his feet
The noblewoman using her remaining arm to crawl to a nearby rock leaned besides it with a grim expression
"Listen, we're not going to survive this"she said with a sober tone,her eyes staring at the moonlight above
Soul walk-in towards her lifted her up and carried her in his arms as he looked around
'i didn't get forced asleep,dragged into this world and chased by a sleep paralysis demon for nothing'he thought and the mare ridiculousness of his situation only infuriating him further
"Listen remember what you said earlier about me not having any right to save you,I think that's just bull, I didn't want to save you I just.. couldn't let you die like that"Soul said in an almost sympathic voice
The noblewoman eyes widened as her face turned a bright red, Soul looking up notices a large structure at the centre of the valley and began running towards it
As he did so,the creature that has been chasing them appears and roared with the cracking of bones it morphed back into the young slave
"Damn it they got away,I felt that woman's power,her strength within me then that weakling had to save him and why was his punch so painful"the young slave growled before gritted his teeth in frustration and jumped down to follow him
Soul having reached the structure looked at the Noblewoman for was equally stunned by it,the structure a old temple tied with ropes as big as a small house and painted with paper talismans gave off an eerie aura as if something waited in its dark depths
Slowing walking up the temple stairs,they were meet with a large sealed door with markings written on it in a language Soul as never seen before.
"This is the temple were curses are born and Kings are slaughtered,only those wishing to invoke his wrath may enter got this world is marely a reflection of his past"spoke the Noblewoman with a fearful and trembling hushed tones
'great first monsters now warnings what's next the door is going to open on its own' Soul thought sarcastically but as of the door can hear his thoughts it slowly creeped open releasing howling winds that sounded like screams and the small of death
The voices in souls head grew louder causing his vision to blur and his eyes to wince as mountains of bones and rotten skin fell out of the the temple doors
"This wasn't just a temple it was a shrine for him"she whispered the fear in her voice as evident as it is in her eyes "I don't want to die,please don't let me die"she grapped Souls shoulder pleading with him
Soul looking down at her with a confused look as unhinged laugh escaped from the noblewoman lips and she pulled herself closer to Sol's ear to whisper a bargain
"Listen I can deal with whatever that creature is but not in this state so I need you to do something for me".she whispered with a seductive and disparate voice
"What's that!?"soul questioned his brows furrowing and the curves of his mouth lowing and his eyes narrowing
The noblewoman mouth curved into a twisted grin and her eyes began to glow fiery red as if the flames of hell lived within her
"I need you to die for me"
