When Wei Yaoyao arrived at the designated meeting spot with his unruly curly hair, he saw Yu Xia and Xie Qingci enjoying their breakfast.
He jogged over, directly sitting down on the remaining chair at their table.
"Come on, give me the same order. It's pure luck I caught you. I was so worried about your task last night that I lost sleep. I was a bit slow getting up this morning and haven't had the chance to eat breakfast yet. Thanks for the treat."
"Do you have the nerve to spend money from us poor folks? These steamed buns were bought with Xie Qingci's pocket money, and after buying them, he's got no money left," Yu Xia said, taking another bite of her bun.
Wei Yaoyao was stunned for a second, turning to Xie Qingci: "You're so poor it's like you're refugees, and yet you have pocket money? Didn't you spend four and a half out of the five bucks you were given on the first day?"
