The boy's name was Colin Cole.
After looking for a while, the woman linked her arm with his and asked tenderly, "Baby, do you like this house? If you do, I'll buy it."
Aurora Sutton and Thea Shaw both kept their heads down as if they hadn't heard anything.
Colin seemed very nervous, mumbled a few words, and instead of continuing to look at the house, he walked out with the woman.
Once he left, Aurora seemed to let out a sigh of relief.
Thea said, "You seem like you don't really want to see him."
"No." Aurora shook her head. "It's not that I don't want to see him, but whenever he sees me, he seems to have it out for me, and I don't know why."
Colin targeted her too subtly for most people to notice, but when someone doesn't like you, you can tell.
Aurora could clearly sense Colin's hostility was directed only at her.
He was nice to everyone else.
Aurora never thought about why, and seeing Colin here with that woman today was somewhat surprising.
