As soon as she stepped outside, the fresh air hit her, but she didn't even have time to take a deep breath before she started looking around for her friend.
Finally... made it just in time!
"Bastard! Do you know her? Can't wait to trick her into your car and take her home? Let her go!"
Laura saw the taxi door about to close and sprinted like a hundred-meter dash to grab the door firmly, shouting curses at the man inside who was trying to assault Nina Pierce.
Nina Pierce lifted her blurry, drunken eyes, "Ah! Laura, you're here!"
And tried to get out of the car.
The man certainly wouldn't allow it; she was easy prey already in hand, no way he would let her run away that easily, especially since he had paid for her drinks earlier.
Tonight, he definitely wanted to enjoy himself...
