At around six fifteen, Laura Quincy walked out of the "Xavier Group" building with her bag on her back, taking a deep breath of fresh air.
Even if she lost six years of her memory, life goes on just the same.
After a few steps, she received a call from her friend Nina Pierce, "Laura, are you off work?"
Even over the phone, Laura sensed something was off with her friend's emotions, "Yeah, what's up?"
Nina was indeed not in a good mood, "Laura, I feel like going to a bar for a drink."
Laura tried hard to recall if this was the first time her friend suggested going to a bar or if she had forgotten such past occurrences...
She couldn't remember. She couldn't remember anything...
"Hmm, where are you? I'll come find you now?"
Laura said without hesitation. Although she lost six years of memory, she knew full well that Nina was her best friend, always the first to stand up and help whenever needed.
So, when Nina needed her, she would respond without a second thought!
