Yasmine forced herself to smile like a blooming flower, knowing that only by pleasing The Devil would he not investigate whom she had come to The Imperial with. She truly didn't want to implicate the innocent anymore.
Aaron Lynch slowly pulled away from her lips, a wicked smile curling on his lips, "Generally speaking, when you go to such lengths to please me, there's usually an ulterior motive, hmm?"
His words made Yasmine's heart pound fiercely.
She told herself she couldn't panic at this moment; whoever panics first loses.
"Today is my good friend's birthday, and her boyfriend reserved the place. At first, I wasn't aware; go ahead and check if you want. I haven't done anything wrong."
Yasmine wore an expression of "I'm very innocent."
