In 2023, the final battle in the future had just ended. Iron Man, Tony Stark, had snapped his fingers — and his consciousness entered a strange space.
In that space filled with endless water, Tony Stark saw everything.
And there, within that strange space, Tony saw his grown-up daughter… and Captain America, Steve Rogers, who had returned to the past.
The power of the six Infinity Stones allowed Tony to glimpse fragments of the past — events that were now influencing the future.
A man named Allens, "The Brain," was rising at a terrifying pace. Tony Stark even saw something that made his heart tremble — Sentinels — machines that would one day push the Avengers to the brink of extinction.
In that mysterious space, Tony Stark used his last remaining consciousness to speak with Rogers from the past, urging him to prevent the birth of the super-intelligent Allens.
Even in his final moments, Tony's genius mind was still working. Using the power of the Infinity Stones, he laid out a series of countermeasures and explained them all in detail to Rogers.
Then the space began to collapse. Tony Stark's spirit returned to his body.
Looking over the devastated ruins of New York, he closed his eyes forever.
After Tony Stark's death, while the Avengers of the future mourned deeply, Captain Rogers stepped into the quantum tunnel, carrying the Infinity Gauntlet back to the year 1943.
Once Rogers disappeared, Doctor Strange peered into the timeline — and discovered that the super-powered Allens was disrupting history itself.
Using the terrifying Chaos Magic power within Scarlet Witch Wanda, Strange temporarily forced Allens back into the main timeline.
"Hey, Doctor Strange, can you still peek into the timeline?"
Hulk — or rather, Dr. Bruce Banner — looked down at his own trembling arm, now covered in fine, glowing cracks, like a fragile vase ready to shatter.
A sudden pang of fear hit him. Ever since he had used the Infinity Gauntlet, the gamma radiation inside his body had become unstable. He could feel something stirring, struggling to break free.
"Dr. Banner? What's wrong?"
Doctor Strange glanced at him, his expression weary. Since Banner had merged with the Hulk, Strange had rarely seen that look of genuine fear on his face.
"I just… have a bad feeling. Allens isn't someone who goes down that easily," Banner muttered, his brows furrowing. Deep inside, he could sense another consciousness — one that he thought was gone — slowly awakening.
"I don't have the Time Stone anymore," Strange said, shaking his head. "Without it, I can't freely enter the timeline or reverse time."
He had once killed Allens in Wakanda using the combined powers of magic and science. But even now, back in New York, Strange couldn't travel through time anymore.
While the Avengers of the future were still lost in confusion, the Rogers who had traveled back to World War II followed Tony Stark's advice. He secretly contacted his younger self — the Captain America of that era — and at the last moment switched places with him.
The Rogers from the future took the fighter jet destined to crash into the Antarctic, freezing himself until 2008, just as history had recorded.
It was all part of Tony Stark's plan.
Now, in the present timeline, an elderly Captain America still lived, while his younger counterpart — the one who had just awakened — was ready to act.
There were now two Captain Americas in this world.
The one from the past — young and strong.
And the one from the future — old and wise.
According to Tony's plan, once the frozen body was recovered, Rogers would use S.H.I.E.L.D.'s power to track down and eliminate Allens before disaster could strike.
At S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters — the Triskelion — Nick Fury personally visited Peggy Carter's old residence and retrieved the classified file codenamed 087.
After confirming Rogers' future identity, Fury began to believe his story — and agreed to fully cooperate.
"Director Fury, bring up the file on Professor Samuel Sterns," Rogers ordered.
If Allens was to be stopped, he needed to prevent him from acquiring the intelligence of Professor Sterns — the brilliant mind once known for his gamma research.
But when the S.H.I.E.L.D. system reported that Samuel Sterns was already dead, Rogers' expression darkened.
As someone from the future, Rogers knew just how terrifying Sterns' intellect was — his mind operated a thousand times faster than a normal human's, like a living quantum computer.
"If Sterns is already dead," Rogers said grimly, "then we start with Allens himself."
He clenched his right fist, determination burning in his eyes. Even if Allens had absorbed part of Sterns' intellect, he was still weakened — and could be dealt with if they struck first.
Now, without his enhanced abilities, Allens only retained his telekinesis. If Rogers could catch him off guard, even a single missile could end him.
Suddenly, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s monitoring system blared an alarm.
A live feed popped up on the main screen — showing Allens in a suit, raising his hands as terrified citizens fell to their knees all around him.
"Damn it," Rogers cursed. "Don't tell me he's already developed mind control!"
Without waiting for orders, Rogers raised his right hand — his Vibranium shield flew to him instantly.
He turned sharply toward Hawkeye and Natasha. "We're moving out!"
Moments later, a Quinjet cloaked in invisibility streaked through the clouds.
On its control panel, the destination was clearly marked: Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris.
At the same time, in the heart of Paris, terrified civilians knelt in submission as Allens — clad in a black suit — stood atop the cathedral, arms spread wide, radiating godlike authority.
"Submit to me," Allens declared coldly, his voice echoing like thunder, "and you will be spared."
A wave of psychic power rippled outward, crushing the will of everyone around him.
"F***, this trip just keeps getting worse… but damn, Boss Allens' nano-suit is so cool!"
On the roof of Notre Dame, Deadpool — wrapped in Allens' experimental nano-suit — was practically in tears. The suit had reshaped his entire appearance, making him look and sound exactly like Allens himself.
What made things worse was that the suit's internal voice system completely blocked his real voice.
"Oh wait… am I the real Allens now?" Deadpool shouted in delight. "Awesome! Call me Brain Allens!"
Typical Deadpool — even when trapped in chaos, he couldn't help but enjoy the madness.
