Chapter 10 Part 3: Rival Lovers and Family Rivalry

"You little pervert, what are you staring at?" She quickly adjusted her clothes.

Seriously, they can be casual with everyone else, but clamp down on me? Or is it just my cock she's not interested in?

"Ah, nothing… sorry, Mom…" I composed my face. "Don't worry, I'll trust everyone. But "

"Don't go meddling just cooperate when needed; the plan doesn't need you for now." She stood up, imposing, and warned, "Don't try sneaking around or playing spy games, got it?"

Her sudden aura scared me into nodding meekly.

"Good, that's right. I still want to drink your and Lin Mi's wedding wine someday…" She left, swaying her ripe, peachy butt.

Wedding wine with Lin Mi? She might end up attending her daughter's wedding to me instead. Hmph, look down on me, do you? Claim you don't need me? I'll prove you wrong to your face!

Over the next two days, news of Mom marrying Yedun flooded the news along with tons of abuse from business, political, and ordinary people alike. Only the big-wigs in H Province kept silent, not resisting Qi-Gu Group. For such a giant to be given away as a dowry to the Japanese Dongsheng, it was odd that official media said nothing, nor did any political heavyweights. Only some local governments expressed opposition.

Clearly someone in high places was backing Mom.

Most didn't know what stance the central government held, so no one picked sides. Within days, things calmed down, and people waited for the next step on Qi-Gu Group, thinking this was the calm before the storm.

Dad returned to hospital; home became Mom and Yedun's love nest. Mom seemed rejuvenated lively, working, happy to assist Yedun, but progress wasn't smooth, as invisible forces blocked Dongsheng's full takeover.

The stalemate lingered.

Meanwhile, Yamainu Nagamaru had enchanted Lin Mi, and the two acted like real lovers. Aunt Ouyang, busy searching for Uncle Lin, ignored Lin Mi's Japanese romance giving her the freedom to fall hard for her doting suitor.

Naturally, Lin Mi had feelings for me, but I never lavished her with attention, nor bombarded her with sweet texts, nor showered her with gifts. With Yamainu's care, she felt like a real princess for the first time.

In such comparison, the gap was obvious.

Compared to Yamainu's handsome looks, charm, and mysterious appeal, or my distracted mind really in love with Ling'er I paled. For a romance-dreaming maiden, he was a White Prince.

And with Aunt Ouyang's hands-off approach, Lin Mi grew more dependent on Yamainu's constant fussing.

After losing Kaklik, Xin'er threw herself into work; Ling'er returned to my side outwardly as my "sister."

That weekend, I again asked Ling'er to meet Lin Mi, but she brought along Yamainu Nagamaru as well.

Yamainu knew we were both "daughters" of Yedun's women, so didn't care; he was oblivious to Ling'er's growing curves, making Lin Mi adore him all the more.

She walked arm-in-arm with him, beaming, knowing I was already coupled with Ling'er.

Seeing my beloved Mi'er starry-eyed over this goody-two-shoes Japanese, I was annoyed even if he were a courtly Chinese, I wouldn't have liked it.

"Jealous?" Ling'er teased, glancing between Lin Mi and me.

"Why would I be? I just don't like that Jap."

"Aww, don't be tsundere! You're only annoyed because he's taller, more handsome, and better with the ladies. If I were you, I'd fall too…" She tugged my arm. "Come on, the movie's starting no point staring after Mi'er, she's not coming back."

Snapped out of it, I said, "No, Ling'er, you fill my heart; Lin Mi is just a childhood friend. I only want her to have a good match. Aunt Ouyang wanted her to dig up dirt on Yamainu, but now it's obvious she's been bewitched! Aren't you worried?"

"Who said she's not just pretending to be infatuated? Maybe she's playing her cards close! Come on…"

The movie was an anti-Japanese hero flick a regular female soldier, driven by bloody vengeance, infiltrates the enemy, destroys their base. I didn't get how the script made sense, but it was a hit thanks to the female lead Chang Shuixian.

There were many scenes of Chang Shuixian being abused by the Japs. Her body and looks were flawless you couldn't say she was gorgeous, but an inner heroic air surpassed mere beauty. Her figure ample bust, wasp waist, perky butt was perfect. A natural for the A-list!

This movie pissed off Yamainu; near the end, his face was as black as soot. Lin Mi, embarrassed, tried to deflect his mood.

Afterward at dinner, Yamainu stayed sour, but Lin Mi kept trying to cheer him up; Ling'er also helped make light conversation. Only I, watching Yamainu scowl, felt pleased, jumping into the banter with Mi'er and feeling a good deal of relief.

"By the way, I'm going with Mom to the Chang Family in two days for the General's memorial. Will you come?" Lin Mi asked.

Aunt Ouyang once mentioned it the Chang family had always been the city's honored "national heroes." The invitation was a mark of true respect.

"I'll go; only the Chang family doesn't welcome Japanese, so Mom can't attend. So I'll represent the Qi and Gu clans," I replied harshly to provoke Yamainu.

"Why can't Auntie come?" Lin Mi wondered.

"Hehe, because your business legend has married our Japanese, she's lost face." Yamainu sneered.

"Uh…" Lin Mi was at a loss.

"My mom wasn't invited, so I won't go either." Ling'er pouted.

"That's fine. I'll go to your house, and ride with Aunt Ouyang!" I raised my brow at Yamainu. Come if you dare!

Seeing the sour look on Yamainu's face, Lin Mi quickly said, "Forget it, next time we'll all go out together…"

"Oh, Aunt Ouyang said, Mi'er, you'll also be doing a ballet solo, right? You'll look amazing in costume." I teased Yamainu again.

"Hehe… you flatter me… If Yamainu-kun wants, I can record it for you!" Lin Mi flirted.

"My Mi'er looks best in anything. You'll be the center of attention I'll be so proud." Damn, what a silver tongue.

Dinner ended in half-hearted farewells. Ling'er saw my grumpy mood and tried to cheer me up on the way home. When I got home, only Mom and Chun Chun were there.

"Hmm? Where's Yedun Dad?" Calling him "Dad" still felt weird.

"He's not here…" Mom said in a house dress, but those curves never faded.

"Alright, I've eaten, I'll go to my room." As I passed Chun Chun, she grinned, "Wanna let your cute little sister help you bathe?"

"What are you saying? You're too big a girl…" I protested, red-faced.

"Don't pretend! Mom already knows!" Chun Chun winked at Mom.

Mom put her book down, and said, "I never thought my son would still be a virgin! But you better not touch your sister!"

"I never did! Chun Chun is always sneaking into my bed…" I protested.

"That's not my concern I don't want incest in this house. Chun Chun, you can fool around with your useless brother, but protect your final line!" Mom, perhaps opened up by Yedun's recent attentions, didn't even get mad.

"Don't worry bro's little dick can't even break a girl in! Unlike your husband's, which is like a skyscraper." Chun Chun, daring to tease Mom. Makes sense she spent all day with her, and probably witnessed Yedun's action all the time.

At the mention of Yedun, Mom's intellect turned to wifely bliss. "Anata is your papa, remember! He says you have the Empress's fate your future man will be a great one!"

"Didn't Yedun-dad say he wants that guy… to take my virginity?" Chun Chun blushed.

"'That guy' is Anata's foster father, Mr. Yamainu Daitake that's my father-in-law! If you let him do it, you'll be MY mother-in-law! Our family tree will be a mess I should tell Anata to drop the idea!"

Goodness! When did mother-daughter talk become so open? At least I remembered shame!

"Why not? I'm kind of looking forward to it. Could be fun."

"This isn't a game! It's not in our plan for you to lose your virginity, and once this is over, Yedun and his lot will be dead or jailed for life. Would you want to be a widow?" Mom's eyes carried a trace of sorrow as she looked at Chun Chun.

"But if so, then you…"

"… I have no choice…"

So Mom still knew the family and country mattered truly in love with Yedun yet loyal to her cause, she'd give up everything for revenge and duty.

Somehow, in that moment, my respect for her deepened. I joined the pair on the couch, talked with Mom, tried to ease her heart.

But Chun Chun kept going dirty, calling me "little-dick bro," and pointing out how I seemed born for cuckoldry, always watching my woman with someone else. Soon even Mom joined in, calling me "little cock son," and joked that since seeing my tiny dick during Yedun's pounding, she no longer worried about incest.

I lashed back, only to have Mom and Chun Chun mock me further. They demanded I drop my pants. Chun Chun even yanked them down, and as expected, my privates drew only sneers. Still, the humiliation excited me.

Even when hard, my cock wasn't as thick or long as Mom's thumb. Embarrassed, I slinked back to my room and locked the door.

I spent the next day largely avoiding Mom and Chun Chun worried more banter might lead to trouble.

Finally, the day of the General Chang memorial arrived. Outwardly a day of remembrance, it was really a high-class gathering for the city's old families.

I dressed up in a Tang suit for the occasion.

Arriving at Aunt Ouyang's home, mother and daughter were ready. Aunt Ouyang had abandoned her usual look for an off-shoulder, low-cut black evening gown, mature beauty brushed with just a hint of makeup, a bit of witchy sex appeal.

Lin Mi wore a close-fitting white silk dress, her tall, slim frame like an earthbound fairy.

In the car, I asked, "Aunt Ouyang, any news on Uncle Lin?"

She sighed, worry in her eyes. "Yes, but I won't tell you now, you'd only fret. And how's that Jap in your house?"

"Yedun? He hasn't been home at night the last couple days, and by day I don't see him."

"Not home? With your mother's charms, how could he stay away?" Was I imagining it, or was there a hint of jealousy and sarcasm in Aunt Ouyang's voice?

"I don't know; Mom and Chun Chun said he's busy at the factories."

"Factories…" She nodded, then fell silent.

In the back seat, Lin Mi hugged a big bag, glued to her phone; after our greeting she ignored me, alternating between silly laughs and pouts at the screen.
