Teleporting home, Shuo was greeted by an unexpected sight—Asagi Aiba, curled up on his couch, scrolling through her phone.
He blinked. "Asagi? What are you doing here?"
She turned, eyes lighting up—then froze, seeing Nagisa and Yukina trailing behind him.
Shuo caught her confusion and quickly explained. "Starting today, Nagisa's moving in. And this is Yukina Himeragi, sword shaman from the Lion King Organization. She'll be staying here too, thanks to Nagisa's Fourth Primogenitor situation."
Asagi's gaze flickered, something unreadable passing through her eyes. But she recovered fast, putting on her usual calm.
"In that case, I want to move in too!" she declared, locking eyes with Shuo.
He grinned. "No problem. You can crash here tonight. Asagi, why not chat with Nagisa and Yukina? I'll go sort out the rooms."
He shot her a knowing look before heading upstairs. If Asagi was jealous, he wasn't complaining.
Left alone, the living room grew awkward. The three girls eyed each other, silent.
Nagisa broke the ice first, giggling. "Asagi-nee, you were totally jealous just now! You like Shuo, don't you?"
Asagi's cheeks flared red. "W-what? No, that's—!"
Nagisa just hugged her arm, teasing. "Don't worry! Shuo's a hopeless flirt—he won't let a pretty girl like you slip away. He even hugged and kissed Natsuki-sensei earlier."
Yukina's eyes widened. "Wait, what?!"
Nagisa giggled. "So, Asagi-nee, we're all family now!"
Asagi managed a shy nod, her blush deepening. Yukina, meanwhile, looked utterly lost.
Nagisa caught her baffled expression and decided to stir the pot. "Yukina, you look confused. Honestly, Shuo brought you here because he wants you as his wife, you know…"
Yukina's face turned the color of a boiled shrimp. "That's not—! Absolutely not!"
But even as she protested, her gaze kept darting upstairs, as if she couldn't help but wonder.
The next morning, Shuo decided their living arrangements needed an upgrade. With a wave of his hand, he conjured a towering, elegant castle in a scenic spot on the island.
He admired his handiwork with a satisfied nod, then set off for a stroll around Itogami.
It wasn't long before he sensed someone trailing him. Smirking, he ducked into a deserted alley.
The pursuer hesitated at the entrance. "Huh? Where'd he go? I saw him come in…"
She stepped in, searching—only for Shuo to materialize right in front of her.
She jumped. "When did you— How did you know I was—?"
Shuo sized her up: wild hair, rebellious clothes, that unmistakable attitude. He recognized her instantly—Dimamber, the notorious brat.
Her real identity? The vessel for the Fourth Primogenitor's tenth familiar, Capricorn's Eye Crystal. Mind control powers, a history of stirring up chaos, and a reputation for running wild.
But Shuo just grinned. "Well, if it isn't Dimamber the brat."
Dimamber bristled. "Who're you calling a brat?! I'll bite you!"
She lunged, grabbing his hand and aiming for a chomp.
Before she could sink her teeth in, Shuo hoisted her up, plopped her onto his lap, and sealed her powers with a flick of his fingers. He tugged down her shorts and delivered a series of sharp smacks to her little bottom.
"Brat wants to bite me? I'll show you bite! I'll show you—!"
Smack, smack, smack. Dimamber's yelps echoed through the alley, tears streaming down her face.
"Waaah! I'm sorry, stop! It hurts!"
Shuo realized he'd gone a bit overboard. He paused, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Okay, maybe that was a little much. I didn't mean to—do you believe me?"
Dimamber glared at him through watery eyes, clearly not convinced.
"Fine, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have spanked your little bottom. Happy now?"
He wiped away her tears and used a touch of magic to soothe the sting.
Dimamber pouted, cheeks pink. "I—I only followed you because you smelled… nice."
Shuo shot her a look. "Nice, huh? You mean you wanted to suck my blood."
She didn't deny it, just looked away.
He ruffled her hair. "Tell you what—if you stick with me, I'll let you drink my blood whenever you want. Deal?"
Dimamber's eyes lit up, temptation clear.
"And it's not just you. The Fourth Primogenitor's my girlfriend now. You'll get to meet Aurora too."
Dimamber paled. "The Fourth Primogenitor? You're not planning to have her devour me, are you?!"
Shuo pulled her into a gentle hug. "Idiot. If I wanted that, you wouldn't be able to resist. And Aurora's doing just fine. Listen—no one here thinks of you as a tool. You're just a brat who hasn't grown up yet. We'll treat you like family."
Dimamber gazed up at him, eyes softening. For reasons she couldn't explain, she trusted him completely.
"Then you'd better take care of me for life!" she declared with a satisfied grin.
