Inside the shrine, Michael's expression was solemn.
"Shuo-kun, my visit today is mainly about Yuuto Kiba and Asia's situation. Since God fell in the ancient war, Heaven's system has been unstable. That's why Asia was exiled, and the Church moved to execute Kiba."
He bowed his head, apology heavy in his voice.
"For all of this, I am truly sorry."
Shuo waved him off, unfazed.
"I get it. But honestly, you owe Asia and Kiba an apology more than me."
Michael nodded, guilt flickering in his eyes.
"I understand. I'll explain everything to Asia and Kiba at the summit."
He paused, then lifted his palm.
A sword appeared in the air, wreathed in sacred flames—a weapon of legend.
Shuo arched an eyebrow.
"This sword… suppresses dragons. Must be the dragon-slayer Ascalon."
Michael's smile froze for a moment, then he chuckled.
"You really are the Star Holy Sword wielder, Shuo-kun. You recognized it instantly. I know your own sword is even stronger, but please accept this as my gift—and my apology."
He offered the blade with a formal nod.
"I heard you're set to duel the White Dragon Emperor. May Ascalon serve you well."
Shuo smiled, amused. With his current power, even the Red Dragon God Emperor would hesitate to face him. Vali was hardly a threat. Still, a free gift was a free gift; he took Ascalon and slipped it into his system space, already thinking it'd suit Irina better.
Michael continued, voice earnest.
"This summit is a rare chance for our three factions to make peace. The sword is my gift to you. We've sent Holy Swords to the Fallen Angels, and the Devils have given us some legendary Holy-Demonic blades. It's a true exchange."
Shuo nodded—just as the original story described, nothing major had changed.
Michael straightened, golden light gathering around him.
"The summit begins tomorrow. I need to return to Heaven and prepare. See you then."
With a flash, he was gone.
Shuo sighed, a pang of regret in his chest.
Should've asked Michael to bring Gabriel next time… her gentle embrace lingered in his mind.
Just then, Akeno barreled into him, arms flung around his neck, lips pressing hungrily to his.
"Akeno—what's gotten into you?"
Shuo blinked, caught off guard.
Akeno's eyes sparkled with mischief—and something more.
"I can't wait any longer, Shuo-chan! You've got relationships with so many girls, and even Rias is about to get engaged to you. I refuse to fall behind!"
Her gaze was almost feverish, her smile sly.
"Besides, alone time with you is rare. To make up for all my lonely nights, I'm going to give you a proper S-session!"
Thud!
In a heartbeat, Shuo flipped Akeno beneath him, pinning her down. Her face flushed deep red, breath catching.
"Shuo-chan, you—"
He grinned, all pretense gone.
"Ah…"
Akeno's gasp was half pain, half pleasure.
Much later, the world settled into quiet again.
Shuo smirked, voice low and teasing.
"Next time I devour Rias, how about a 1v2 battle?"
Akeno's cheeks glowed as she bit her lip.
"Ara, Shuo-chan, you're such a tease. If you can really convince Rias, I'd love to join in."
She gave him a victorious look.
"Anyway, I'm finally ahead of Rias! Poor little Rias-chan—her own peerage member stole her place again. Think she'll cry and throw a fit?"
They locked eyes, laughter bubbling up between them.

Back at Shuo's house—
Rias and Sona looked anything but pleased.
Moments ago, they'd been ready to congratulate Akeno for stepping out of her shadow.
But then Koneko dropped the bomb: "Akeno-senpai snuck a bite!"
Instantly, the room erupted into a battlefield of jealous stares.
Akeno, nestled smugly in Shuo's arms, flashed a triumphant smile.
"Ara, Rias-chan, Sona-chan, sorry—I'm taking the lead!"
Rias and Sona gritted their teeth, glaring daggers at her.
Rias couldn't believe she'd let her guard down for a moment, only for Akeno to swoop in and steal her thunder.
Sona was already frazzled—her sister had dragged her into magical girl cosplay thanks to Shuo's meddling, and now Akeno was ahead in the race for Shuo's heart.
The other girls just watched, not daring to challenge the main wife position.
Even Serafall looked amused—though she muttered about Shuo's wandering heart, she didn't interfere.
With every eye on him, Shuo quickly grabbed Irina and teleported out, escaping the crossfire.
In a blink, they landed in Shuo's room.
Irina folded her arms, wary.
"Dragging me in here alone—what are you planning?!"
Shuo rolled his eyes, teasing.
"Hmph, why so nervous? Don't forget what you promised me."
Irina's cheeks turned pink, her voice small.
"You haven't kept your promise to me yet! No funny business!"
Shuo just shrugged.
"Relax. Today, I'm here to help you become an angel. Ready?"
Before Irina could react, Shuo summoned the faith energy gifted by the Bible Loli God and sent it straight into her.
Platinum light flared around Irina. When it faded, she stood transformed—a pure ten-winged angel, five pairs of white wings unfurled behind her.
Shuo nodded, satisfied.
No wonder the angel reincarnation energy from Little Saint was so powerful.
Irina stared at her wings, still in shock.
"I—I'm a ten-winged angel! Am I dreaming?!"
After a long moment, she finally came to her senses, fluttering her wings in delight.
Shuo interrupted, raising an eyebrow.
"Irina, I just made you a ten-winged angel. Aren't you going to reward me?"
Irina's smile froze. She looked away, face burning as she remembered their deal.
Seeing her hesitate, Shuo simply leaned in and stole her first kiss.
"Since you weren't ready, I'll just mark my territory for now. Next time… hehehe…"
He wiped his lips, grinning.
Irina's face went scarlet. She touched her lips, then quickly wrapped her arms around herself.
"Pervert! Just you wait!"
She threw out the threat, then bolted from the room, terrified he'd go even further.
