The interplay of the outfits and the lighting left a good first impression on the audience.
Soyo's transforming outfit provided a further element of surprise.
Then, by using Haruhikage, a song that focuses more on performance and emotional expression, they avoided a direct confrontation in terms of stage effects.
If they had been missing any one of these elements, they likely would not have been able to withstand the pressure of performing after [Summer Zodiac].
But, miraculously, they had met all the conditions and had even guided the atmosphere of the live in a completely different direction.
And more importantly...
(This band has a lot of potential.)
Uika silently scanned the members of [MyGO!!!!!].
First, the most skilled person in this band... that lead guitarist. Although she was a bit hard to read in many ways, once she picked up the guitar, her aura, which was on par with a professional musician, and the skill to match it were not to be underestimated.
Next... the person with the strongest expressive power, the lead singer, Tomori. Her singing technique, breath control, and even her stage presence were completely amateurish. However... her sensitivity, which allowed her to completely merge her emotions into her singing voice, and the infectious power of that voice itself, could only be described as a natural gift. If she were to receive proper training in the future, she would surely become a lead singer who could stand on her own.
Then... the bassist. The most mature and also the most observant one in the band. Her outfit was the key to getting the live started smoothly. Besides that, her calmness, being the first to snap out of her daze before her bandmates, and the timing with which she transformed her outfit were also the best demonstrations of her keen observation. Although her bass skills could only be considered passing, her presence in this band was as indispensable as the instrument she played.
As for the drummer, her technical skills were passable, but she was severely lacking in presence. Was it a lack of confidence? That was a problem only she could solve on her own.
And finally...
Uika's gaze fell upon Anon.
It might be a bit rude to say this to Tetsuya-san, but Chihaya's little sister was probably the biggest weak link in this band. Her technical skills were at a complete beginner's level. If it weren't for the outstanding performances of the lead guitarist and the lead singer, her flaws would have definitely been noticed by the audience. That being said, her personal aura was far more confident than the drummer's, and her performance state was consistently well-maintained. Most interestingly, as it stood now, this rhythm guitarist with the least skill actually had the most outstanding stage presence among the five of them.
And... it was precisely because of this little sister's existence that this band had a connection with Tetsuya-san, thereby obtaining these crucial outfits and a guide to lead these problem children onto the same stage.
So, if this band were given another month, would they be able to be "of use" at the live in May?
"..."
Gazing at the audience members who were gradually getting into [MyGO!!!!!]'s performance, Uika fell into deep thought.
...
As the performance of Haruhikage ended, the atmosphere of the venue became completely different from before.
The previously restless audience grew quiet again, and the emotions stirred up by [Summer Zodiac] had cooled down considerably.
[MyGO!!!!!] had now passed through Ai's trap and Uika's test, officially moving out of the danger zone.
However, there was still a small distance to go before they could claim complete success.
But... if they were to end things on a quiet note like this, it would be a bit too much of a shame, both for the audience and for the five girls of [MyGO!!!!!].
Therefore—
"Thank you all for your support!"
Anon suddenly grabbed the microphone and greeted the enthusiastically applauding audience with great passion.
"This song doesn't actually belong to [MyGO!!!!!], but to another... currently inactive band called [CRYCHIC]. Even so, we chose to make it the first song of our first live. And from now on, this song will be the starting point for both of our bands."
"But if we only have this 'borrowed' song, then our position as a new band wouldn't exist. So, what we want to bring you next is our first original song... and also a song that some of my bandmates want to dedicate to a certain friend—"
BZZZZ—!
The moment Anon finished her announcement, the lead guitar, bass, and drums suddenly kicked in.
This unannounced start momentarily stunned the audience, who had been listening intently to Anon speak.
And then, an even more "bizarre" scene unfolded on stage.
Because after the song began, the one who first picked up the microphone was not the lead singer, but the bassist—
"Goodbye to Rock you!"
