Chapter 109 - Ch.109

On the sofa, the two disheveled figures looked at Cafe standing in the doorway, and their hearts instantly dropped halfway.

Agnes Tachyon was naturally dominated by Cafe and could never hold her head up in front of her, while Luo Cheng was caught in a love triangle, an event almost guaranteed to trigger when the two horse girls were together. It was going to be difficult for his small frame to survive a horse girl's shuraba (bloodbath/love triangle conflict).

Cafe walked into the room and slammed the door shut. Her golden eyes glowed eerily as she looked at the pair.

There were still wet spots on the floor. A skirt, panties, a bra—both of their clothes were casually tossed aside. The snow-white cotton sock looked sodden, draped softly halfway off the sofa. Seeing the chaotic mess, Cafe let out a mournful, ghost-like voice.

"You two had a lot of fun last night, didn't you? Trainer, and... Tachyon."

"Whoa, whoa, Cafe, just calm down." Agnes Tachyon sat up, pulling the blanket around her. "Humans are creatures unable to control their desires. Many of their actions are difficult to control with reason. You should be understanding of that."

"Understanding? I'll be understanding once you die and turn into a ghost."

"Don't say such scary things. It's not like you haven't done this either, Cafe," Agnes Tachyon retorted. "Don't you often do things like this with the Trainer? Don't deny it. If anything, I'm the victim here, having Guinea pig-kun stolen from me."

Hearing Agnes Tachyon turn the attack on herself, Cafe's pupils narrowed.

"I haven't been that... excessive," Cafe said, staring at the soaked cotton sock on the sofa.

This was a lie.

Sneaking into his room at night, secretly biting him under the covers, secretly stepping on, clamping, and rubbing his feet while he massaged hers—she had done such things more often than Agnes Tachyon, not less. Therefore, Cafe's rebuttal lacked a bit of conviction.

"Get up right now!" Irritated by Agnes Tachyon's mocking smile, Cafe said with displeasure.

"Just a moment, a moment. I'm looking for my panties..."

While Agnes Tachyon searched for her clothes, Cafe turned to look at Luo Cheng, who was already contemplating whether his death would affect the game's progress. She sat on the edge of the bed and gently touched the red hickey on Luo Cheng's neck.

"If Trainer wants something, he can come to me. There's no need to go to Tachyon... that one doesn't care about Trainer's feelings at all." Cafe leaned over and lightly licked the spot where the hickey had been planted on Luo Cheng's neck a few times.

"I'm better than Tachyon," Cafe whispered softly into Luo Cheng's ear, hugging his neck.

"I can't let that statement go unchallenged." Agnes Tachyon sniffed the pungent-smelling cotton sock, then decided to put it on temporarily and looked at Cafe. "Leaving aside your ability as a horse girl, just as a woman, Cafe, you are already far behind."

"Huh?" Cafe frowned, following Agnes Tachyon's line of sight, which pointed at her chest.

Tachyon!

She had brought up the one thing Cafe least wanted to discuss! Yes, as a woman, as a girl, Cafe's chest was pitifully small, often requiring hard squeezing to create a subtle curve. This was the one area where she could not satisfy the Trainer.

"In this regard, I'm much better than Cafe." Agnes Tachyon cupped her chest, displaying her advantage, which was clearly above average. "Guinea pig-kun was quite fond of it. He used them quite a bit last night."

Cafe abruptly turned to Luo Cheng, the pressure in her grip increasing. Feeling the increasingly terrifying force, Luo Cheng quickly spoke: "Wait, Cafe, you have your own merits!"

"My merits...?"

"You're very beautiful."

Hearing this, the pressure in Cafe's hand eased a bit.

So what if Agnes Tachyon is superior in some areas? A woman's charm isn't determined solely by bust size. Her slender body and silky long hair were all things Agnes Tachyon lacked. Furthermore, she was the Trainer's sole listener; the Trainer's feelings for her couldn't be compared to that annoying experiment fanatic's.

Relieved, Cafe grasped Luo Cheng's hand, then raised her head. She cupped Luo Cheng's cheek with one hand, then kissed him.

"You had a night of passion with me last night, and in the morning, you kiss Cafe right in front of me? Guinea pig-kun, are you trying to test how long you can live?"

Agnes Tachyon placed her hand on Luo Cheng's neck, leaning over from the side. Her mouth was smiling, but her eyes showed no such emotion.

"Actually, in my heart, Tachyon and Cafe have always been linked."

"Hoh? What do you mean?"

"If you like Cafe, you'll inevitably like Tachyon. If you like Tachyon, you'll inevitably like Cafe."

"That makes absolutely no sense, Guinea pig-kun."

"I want both of you."

"Be careful, Guinea pig-kun. That's a very dangerous statement."

"There's no need to lie anymore."

Ding-a-ling!

The school bell rang outside, snapping the two girls beside Luo Cheng back to reality.

"Time to go."

"Trainer, I'll come see you later." Cafe bid Luo Cheng farewell.

"Say, do I have any strange smell on me? This sock is still wet, and it's full of guinea pig juice."

"Go change that right now!"

"Do you want it, Cafe? I can give it to you."

"I don't want your smelly sock! I'll take the Trainer's belongings myself."

After the two habitually bickering girls left, Luo Cheng cleaned up the room. He pulled out his personal notebook and looked at the shopping list. Luo Cheng had recorded what he needed to buy after entering a random event. After all this time, he had summarized a few of the most cost-effective items.

Walking outside the school, Luo Cheng looked at the bustling streets. Unlike the dead feeling of the support card stories, random events were built upon the main storyline, and the world had no boundary restrictions. Luo Cheng pushed open the doors that were once tightly closed, entered the shops, and looked at the customers and the staff behind the counter. He stared blankly for a long time.

"Welcome, sir. May I help you find anything?"

Looking at the clerk who greeted him, Luo Cheng felt like he had traveled through time. He asked, "Do you have any recommended items here?"

"Recommended items? We just got a new batch of goods in."

"Take me to see them."

"Certainly, this way please."

The clerk led Luo Cheng to a counter. Looking at the items in the display case, Luo Cheng's pupils constricted sharply.

"These are our newly arrived alarm clocks. I wonder if you might be interested, sir."

Staring at the familiar copper-gold alarm clocks, Luo Cheng's eyes glazed over, and he couldn't help but pick one up.

"Can this thing... turn back time to the morning?"

"...Huh?" The clerk tilted their head. "I'm not sure what you mean, sir, but this alarm clock is very punctual. The ringing time has no error, not even by a second."

"I'll take two. No, make that three alarm clocks."

"Three, understood."

"Also, please prepare the daily necessities on this list for me. Four of each."
