Some minutes later, Uche could be seen walking through the shelves of books in the vampire academy library, searching each section carefully for the books the history teacher had told them about.
After searching for about a dozen minutes, Uche finally found what he was looking for—the Wikipedia book the history teacher had mentioned.
It was an old, leather-bound tome, thick with dust and age. The edges of its pages were yellowed, the title barely legible beneath layers of grime. Uche smiled.
"Found you, and without much stress,"
Uche muttered, running his finger across the spine before pulling it out.
He carried the book to one of the reading tables and sat down. The cover creaked as he opened it. Inside, instead of typed pages or organized entries, the book was filled with handwritten notes, sketches of ancient symbols, and faded ink drawings of vampires—some monstrous, others regal.
