Yuuki Kagurazaka was a genius.
Even in his original world, he possessed a rare power—psychokinesis, a mental force that he never used openly. He understood that if society ever discovered it, he would become a spectacle. His days were simple but fulfilling. He had loving parents, friends, money, and comfort. If he wanted something, he got it. His world was predictable, easy.
And then tragedy shattered it.
Just after he entered middle school, his parents died in a car accident—a truck driver, exhausted and half-asleep, slammed into their car. Yuuki survived only because he had been sleeping in the back.
The unfairness crushed him.
He hated the driver, but couldn't take revenge. Japan was a nation ruled by law; personal vengeance was illegal. But when the court verdict came, Yuuki realized the driver was also a victim. An overworked employee in a failing system. The transport company at fault—but also their clients who pressured them—but also the economic reality that forced them into impossible conditions.
Every layer led to another, and the chain of blame never ended.
Who was he supposed to hate?
In the end, the culprit was society itself—a structure built on fragile compromises and systemic failures. He wanted revenge on that structure. But he was powerless. His abilities were not enough. Even a genius had limits.
He considered destroying society and rebuilding it from zero, but that would only bring misery. Changing the world slowly, through influence and trust, seemed the only viable path. But becoming a politician would take decades.
He didn't have decades.
And before he made a choice, everything changed.
He was summoned to another world.
A blessing? A curse? Yuuki wasn't sure. He arrived as a disembodied spirit, summoned by the Demon Lord Kazalim, who intended to overwrite Yuuki's soul and use his body. But Yuuki's genius—and his innate superpower—rejected the curse binding planted onto him.
Because when he crossed worlds, he obtained a new form of strength:
a pure, adaptable soul-power—Unique Skill "Creator."
He lied to Atem about having no special abilities. His first act with "Creator" was producing an ability that rejected all hostile influence:
Unique Skill "Anti-Skill."
Kazalim's plan collapsed instantly. Yuuki consumed him instead.
In this new world—imperfect, chaotic, ruled by absolute power—Yuuki found his purpose. The strong crushed the weak without remorse. Nothing was fair. Nothing was just.
Yuuki decided he would change this world by
conquering it.
And so his long, ambitious march began.
Yuuki, accompanied by Laplace, Footman, and Teare, fled the chaos they caused within the Holy Empire of Lubelius. Staying to watch the aftermath was tempting, but the berserk Hero Chronoa made that impossible.
Chronoa wasn't someone Yuuki could manipulate. She was lashing out at everything—friend or enemy. A walking apocalypse.
Granbell clearly knew this when he proposed the cooperation.
Yuuki had been used.
"Ain't we the biggest losers here?" Laplace grumbled. "We distracted Demon Lord Luminas perfectly—but we were this close to grabbing the ultimate weapon: the Hero."
Footman snorted. "Hohoho! Doesn't matter now. Whoever fought that monster is dead meat."
Yuuki disagreed.
Three Demon Lords had stayed behind: Atem of Eterna, Luminas, and Leon. Atem alone was a force that defied common sense—radiating authority like a king and power like a living calamity. Combined with Luminas and Leon, Yuuki wasn't convinced Chronoa killed them.
Laplace and Teare shared Yuuki's doubt. And Yuuki knew—the best outcome was Chronoa winning.
If Chronoa destroyed Atem, Luminas, Leon, and even Granbell, the West would be left wide open. Yuuki would be the only major power standing.
The only threat left would be Chronoa herself, but without self-awareness, she could be led into a wasteland and left to wander.
Yuuki wanted to stay and watch the outcome.
But his instincts screamed.
Running was the correct choice. If Atem survived—and Yuuki knew deep down he would—then Yuuki's betrayal was exposed. Atem was not naive, not merciful, not someone who tolerated traitors.
He carried the charisma of a king and the judgment of a pharaoh.
There would be no escape once Atem turned his gaze toward him.
Yuuki made the decisive call to flee.
But destiny caught up with him immediately.
Just as Yuuki and his group were about to slip away, a man stepped onto the road ahead of them. Beside him stood a blue-haired beauty in a crimson maid uniform.
"Huh?! Who're ya?" Laplace blurted.
Yuuki froze.
The man didn't answer. His golden-silver eyes were locked solely on Yuuki.
Footman rushed forward, but before he could attack, a blur pinned him violently to the ground.
Another crimson maid—this one green-haired—had arrived: Mizeri.
With the two maids present, there was no doubt: the man standing before them was—
Guy Crimson, the strongest Demon Lord.
His blood-red hair blew in the wind, his presence swallowing the atmosphere.
"Yo," Guy said calmly. "First time we've met. You've done well to catch my interest."
Yuuki forced a smile.
"So, the strongest Demon Lord himself. An honor. I am Yuuki Kagurazaka. Are you here to propose an alliance?"
Guy laughed. "You're bold. I like your attitude, but you're Leon's enemy. And you plan to run East, right? I don't want Rudra growing stronger."
Negotiation: failed instantly.
Yuuki understood perfectly—Guy intended to eliminate them before they could flee to the Eastern Empire.
Yuuki clenched his fists.
He didn't want to fight the strongest Demon Lord, but there was no path left. Atem survived Chronoa. Atem would come for him. Staying alive meant pushing forward—at any cost.
He had only one option left:
Fight.
A wild exhilaration rose in Yuuki's chest. He had hidden his power long enough.
"...So that's how it is," Yuuki said quietly. "Perfect timing. Before I move to the East, I'll test your strength for myself. Let's see how powerful the strongest Demon Lord really is."
He stepped forward, eyes burning with ambition.
Not realizing one simple truth—
After Atem appeared in this world…
Guy Crimson was no longer the strongest.
Yuuki Kagurazaka was confident—dangerously confident.
Confident enough to believe he could defeat anyone in a one-on-one fight.
He had watched Chronoa lose control, tearing through everything in her path. She was terrifying, a walking disaster—but Yuuki still believed he could beat her if he truly pushed himself. It would be a brutal fight, but in his mind, he would eventually win. That was his self-assurance.
But Chronoa wasn't alone.
Three powerful Demon Lords were present:
Leon Cromwell
Luminas Valentine
Atem, Lord of Eterna
And Atem…
The King of Games himself…
Yuuki knew Atem had already seen through him.
Atem, with his piercing judgment and regal presence, wasn't someone Yuuki could fool. Unlike Rimuru, Atem wasn't naive, nor playful, nor childlike. Atem carried the weight of a monarch and the aura of a supreme being.
Yuuki was unaware of when Atem discovered his betrayal—
but the truth was simple:
Atem had known Yuuki was an enemy long before today.
And if Yuuki had kept pretending to be an ally, Atem's judgment would've fallen on him without warning. Yuuki's choice to break away was the only correct move. Atem was his enemy now.
Even with all his confidence, Yuuki wasn't reckless enough to fight three Demon Lords + Chronoa at once. Even he wasn't that arrogant.
But this situation…
This ominous pressure…
It had nothing to do with Chronoa.
It came from the man standing in front of him now.
Yuuki understood that clearly.
Still—he decided to face the monster head-on.
Guy Crimson's Smile
"Oh? You really think you can defeat me?" Guy asked with a smirk.
Yuuki met his gaze with cold certainty.
"I don't suppose. I know. I'll defeat you one day anyway. I'm just getting started early."
Behind Guy, Raine and Mizeri boiled with fury. Every part of their bodies screamed to kill Yuuki on the spot. But they didn't dare speak without permission.
Guy Crimson was absolute authority.
To doubt his safety was an insult.
Guy was fickle, cruel, and uninterested in weaklings. If he didn't acknowledge someone, he destroyed them instantly. Raine and Mizeri had fought for years to earn his approval. If they interfered now, he'd kill them without hesitation.
And Yuuki had just claimed he could defeat him.
Laplace trembled. He couldn't move.
He felt like prey before a predator.
Raine held Footman down with ease. Laplace knew if he tried to rescue him, Raine would simply cut him apart. Even though their group outnumbered Guy's, the difference in power was too great.
If Guy wasn't here, maybe they could fight Raine and Mizeri. Maybe.
But with Guy Crimson…
It was hopeless.
To Laplace, Yuuki challenging Guy was suicide.
Boss… you ain't winning this.
We ain't even in the same world as this dude…
Chronoa was strong, yeah… but Guy Crimson is somethin' else entirely.
Laplace wasn't wrong.
He had glimpsed a sliver of Guy's true power.
Even in terror, his brain was analyzing escape routes—a talent that had saved him countless times.
He knew Yuuki was strong.
Stronger than he ever showed.
But even with Yuuki's hidden power, Laplace wasn't sure they could beat Guy.
If Yuuki lost, Laplace planned to grab Footman and escape with Teare. Yuuki would understand. Their trust ran deep.
But the real problem was Raine and Mizeri.
They wouldn't let Laplace make a move.
He was frozen, calculating, stuck in place—
When something completely unexpected happened.
"Hey. Let him go," Guy said casually to Mizeri.
She obeyed at once, releasing Footman.
Laplace's eyes widened.
We… we got a chance now…!
He knew better than to celebrate early, but hope flickered in his chest.
Then Guy ruined it.
"Don't worry. If he manages to beat me, I'll let all of you go. I won't touch even a single hair on any of you."
The statement made Laplace's stomach drop.
If Yuuki could defeat Guy, they didn't need permission to leave. They'd simply walk away. Guy's declaration contradicted itself—and because it came from him, that made it terrifying.
It meant:
Guy was absolutely certain Yuuki would lose.
Laplace swallowed hard.
This was worse than hopeless.
All he could do now was pray Yuuki would somehow win.
Because if Yuuki lost—
Atem would soon enter the stage.
And then escape would become impossible.
