Eliana's POV
As I heard the sound of my alarm bell ring I woke up, rubbing my eyes I sat on the bed rubbing my eyes. It was another day to get ready for college, at least I have my boyfriend and best friend and obviously Jay who is like a brother to me. My whole life I have been practically alone and hidden from the public's eyes, an absent mother since the day I was born and a dad that barely shows up home. My dad leads a political party. He is very highly known for his political party. My dad never really cared for me, I was taken care of by maids and babysitters but a lot changed when I met Enzo in High School. He was the type of guy to get scared of when you first see him and then find out he is really nice plus his sister became my best friend. I met Enzo, Jennie and Jay in high school and since then they have been my family. Enzo and I fell in love mostly due to our similarities in our own life, his mother died when he was young. He was raised by his dad but his Dad was more neglectful towards him than he was to his sister Jennie. Enzo was rich and his life was set on wards he would inherit his dad's company when he got to the right age, as of now he is 21 pretty young to be a CEO that Quick. His Dad really didn't approve of me but Enzo never really cared even if I insisted to break up with him due to his own good, now he is stuck with me. Jennie, his sister on the other hand, loves me and Enzo being together, well maybe that's because she is my best friend. Jennie and Enzo have different moms and unlike Enzo's mom Jennie's mom is still alive but she parties a lot and is barely home. Like me Jennie and Enzo also have parents that are barely home. Jennie is older than me but she has been my best friend since high school. She is 20 years old and she is so pretty. She believes that love should take time and happen slowly. Even if she is my best friend I have the opposite views as her and so does Enzo. Me and Enzo think it should happen fast. So does Jay and because of this Jay and Jennie bicker a lot. They have huge potential to date but they bicker so much about small things that it's annoying to be around them. It's like getting third wheeled in a way. Jay is an amazing boy, he comes from a family that seems pretty normal but it's the opposite of normal behind closed doors. His Dad was an alcoholic and abusive and they struggled with money, his mom refused to leave his dad. So Enzo decided to get a scholarship and leave. Now here he is in Texas going to his dream university. He is now 21 years old. Now we have my family that I was born in. My mom left me when I was a baby, though my dad decided to look after me he really doesn't. He only cares if I carry on the family legacy but I don't want to do that. My dad really never cared for my happiness. Just like Enzo's dad not approving of me, my father didn't approve of Enzo. He wanted me to date some politician's son. But I didn't so I refused no matter the consequences. Last of all, I'm Eliana. I'm 19 years old, and I have been with Enzo since my sophomore year of high school, best friends with Jennie since freshman year, and friends with Enzo since freshman year too. Me and Enzo were friends in my Freshman year but we did like each other and it was obvious. Then in my sophomore year he asked me. That's practically my life story for now at least.
