Magneto floated silently in mid-air, arms spread wide, as if the entire battlefield was under his control. Countless metal fragments circled around him, each like a restless Beast, radiating cold light. His gaze swept coldly over Logan and Deadpool, his tone full of disdain: "A metal wreck and an immortal blob of flesh, you think you can challenge the power of a god? Ridiculous."
Logan wasted no time. He roared and charged towards Magneto, his claws slashing out silver arcs, each strike aimed precisely at the opponent's weak points. His movements were as swift as the wind, every step cracking the ground. However, Magneto merely waved a hand, and Logan's claws suddenly froze in the air, as if firmly grasped by a pair of invisible hands.
"Your weapon is a part of me." Magneto sneered, twisting his fingers slightly. Logan's claws emitted a grating sound as the sharp metal began to bend impossibly, pointing back towards his chest.
"I don't need weapons." Logan roared, struggling free from the metal's control. He used brute force to wrench his claws straight, his muscles tearing instantly, blood splattering. He charged straight up, intending to shatter Magneto's faceplate with his fists.
"Foolish." Magneto raised his hand, and a massive metal fragment quickly blocked Logan, repelling him like a shield. Logan fell heavily to the ground, but he immediately stood up, his eyes burning with indomitable fighting spirit.
"Old Wolf, watch this!" Deadpool leaped out from the side, holding a modified metal flamethrower, shouting, "Special magnetic field disruption rounds, good luck, Magnet Head!" He pulled the trigger, and a string of blue-flashing energy bolts shot straight towards Magneto.
Magneto merely glanced at him coldly, then lightly raised his hand. All the energy bolts stopped less than half a meter away from his body, hovering in the air, flickering with faint currents. A cold sneer curved his lips, and with a flick of his fingers, the energy bolts shot back in reverse.
"Whoa!" Deadpool yelled, rolling to dodge, but was still hit by one of them. He was blown back, rolling several times on the ground, smoke rising from his body. He raised his head and spat out a mouthful of dust: "Alright, this thing might need some improvements."
Logan and Deadpool adjusted their stances, attacking Magneto from two directions again. Deadpool's blades rapidly swiped, aiming precisely at Magneto's shoulder and neck, while Logan's claws struck down from the other side with storm-like force.
"Futile." Magneto said coldly, activating both hands simultaneously. The surrounding metal fragments instantly formed a rapidly rotating barrier. The two men's attacks were like mud oxen entering the sea, completely blocked by the barrier. Logan's steel claws collided with the barrier, sparks flying. He gritted his teeth and charged with all his might, but was unable to break through.
Deadpool's twin katanas were also stuck in the metal barrier. He hacked with all his might, but could only leave a few barely perceptible marks on the metal surface. He panted, but his mouth didn't stop: "Is this broken barrier buy one get one free? It's so sturdy, can you send me a set?"
A flicker of impatience crossed Magneto's eyes. He clenched his hand, and the barrier suddenly expanded, blasting Logan and Deadpool away, sending them crashing heavily to the ground. When Logan got up, the wound on his chest had begun to slowly heal, while Deadpool bounced directly off the ground, brushing off dust and shouting, "Hey, Old Wolf, I bet this guy's power isn't regulation."
"Shut up." Logan cursed in a low voice, his gaze still fixed on Magneto.
"Your healing abilities are indeed interesting, but they will only prolong your suffering." Magneto's voice was like a cold wind. His figure slowly rose into the air, and the surrounding metal fragments gathered into a giant spear. He raised his hand, pointing at Logan, and said coldly, "Let's see if I can tear your soul apart directly."
The spear shot out suddenly, heading straight for Logan's heart. Logan roared and met it head-on, blocking the spear's impact with his claws. His feet slid across the ground, his body almost forced to its knees by the immense power, but his eyes never flinched.
"Enough!" Deadpool suddenly charged out from the side, carrying a huge metal plate. He mocked, "Magnet Head, check out my big weapon!" He threw the metal plate towards Magneto with force, but before it got close, the other party simply waved a hand and bounced it back directly.
The metal plate hit Deadpool, slamming him into the ground, but his voice still came from the rubble: "Alright, that move didn't work either."
Logan and Deadpool stood up, panting, their wounds rapidly healing, but each impact made their movements slower. Magneto floated in the air, looking down at the two, his voice filled with cold sarcasm: "Your healing abilities will only delay the inevitable outcome. The weak, after all, cannot defeat true power."
The surrounding metal fragments abruptly converged under Magneto's will, transforming into countless iron chains that tightly bound Logan and Deadpool. The chains, like living snakes, rapidly coiled upwards, imprisoning the two in mid-air. Logan's steel claws were forcibly twisted out of shape, unable to move, and Deadpool's arms were pressed tightly against his sides, unable to move even a finger.
Each link of the chains emitted a dark metallic sheen, as if mocking their powerlessness. Magneto slowly descended, his cape fluttering like a ghost, his footsteps echoing softly as he landed. He raised his head, his gaze scanning the trapped pair from above, a cruel smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.
"Is this your resistance?" His voice was calm and cold, carrying an unquestionable authority. "Logan, your former wildness is now just a futile performance. And you, Deadpool, mocking humor is the last refuge of the powerless."
Logan struggled, the muscles in his arms tensed like rocks, his eyes burning with raging fury: "Bullshit! When I break free, I'll show you what pain is!"
Magneto's figure, highlighted by the reflection of the metal, was like a god descending, stern and majestic.
His gaze held a hint of condescending pity, his voice calm yet ruthless: "Do you know how ridiculous this is? Struggling repeatedly, failing repeatedly, like moths flying into a flame, yet unable to even touch the edge of the fire."
Looking down at Logan: "Your wildness and courage are admirable, but ultimately they cannot change fate. Repeated failures should have taught you something, but you keep repeating the same mistake - being my enemy."
Logan's lowered head slowly rose, revealing his blood-stained face, his eyes flashing with savage fury.
Magneto stopped a few steps away from the two, looking at Logan, his tone suddenly becoming slow and meaningful: "Logan, do you want to know how this World's Professor... died?"
The sentence was like a bolt of lightning, striking Logan's heart fiercely. Logan's pupils suddenly contracted, his body trembled, and he clenched his teeth, but the anger in his eyes was now mixed with unconcealed shock.
"Shut up!" Logan roared, his voice hoarse and low, like a wounded Beast. "You're not worthy to mention him!"
"Oh, but I am." Magneto bent down slightly, moving closer to Logan, his voice low as if echoing in his ear, "Because I ended him with my own hands. The last time I looked into his eyes, he spoke of hope to me. And I replied with destruction."
Logan's chest heaved violently, blood constantly dripping from his chain-compressed arms, but his gaze didn't flinch in the slightest. He cursed in a low voice: "You're lying... He wouldn't die like you said."
"Logan," Magneto straightened up and said coldly, "The truth is often more painful than lies. You've been deceiving yourself, thinking you could still protect something. But the fact is, you can't hold onto anything anymore."
Just in this gap of silence, Deadpool suddenly chimed in, his tone still that of an ill-timed jest: "Whoa, this development is full of emotional conflict! Old Wolf, shouldn't there be a flashback scene here, and then you stand in the rain crying? Oh, and also, shouldn't I comment that Magneto is simply a master villain of the Renaissance period! These lines are deeper than Oscar movies--"
Deadpool hadn't finished speaking when Magneto simply waved a hand casually, and a piece of metal directly sealed his mouth, cutting off Deadpool's voice abruptly. He widened his eyes, struggling fiercely, trying to headbutt the metal piece open, but it had no effect, only muffled 'mmph mmph' sounds could be heard.
"Quiet." Magneto said coldly, his tone carrying unconcealed annoyance. "Your mouth is more irritating than your blades."
Logan glared fiercely at Deadpool and cursed in a low voice, "Shut up, you idiot."
Deadpool merely shrugged, expressing some meaning with his eyes that even he wasn't clear about.
Magneto straightened his body, his gaze sweeping over the two again, as if appreciating a struggle destined for failure. His low voice echoed across the battlefield: "Resistance will only make your deaths slower. Accept it, fate has already been sealed."
Magneto's shoulders twitched slightly, and then he burst into a loud and arrogant laugh. The laughter circled above the battlefield, like a giant hammer pounding on everyone's nerves. His cape swung violently with the laughter, and he looked even more lawless than before.
"How comical!" Magneto raised his hand and waved it forcefully. The chains suddenly tightened, pressing Logan and Deadpool's bodies closer to the ground. Logan's muscles made a grating tearing sound, and Deadpool's metal mouth covering also creaked as he bit down hard on it.
"You are still trying to resist! Do you two mortals even understand what true power is?" He abruptly stopped laughing, his face showing a fanatical and indifferent expression. "This World should be ruled by true gods like us, not by you failures who mistakenly believe you can turn the tide!"
Logan raised his head, his face covered in sweat and blood, his voice low and hoarse: "If you're truly a god... then why are you so verbose? Just kill us quickly, let's see if you can actually do it."
Magneto's eyes turned cold. He slightly bent his fingers, and the chains tightened viciously. Logan's steel claws were forcibly twisted to their limit, emitting a grating metallic groan. He said in a low voice, "You want a quick end? Sorry, I won't grant you that. I want you to feel it slowly - feel every single second of failure and despair."
Deadpool struggled, shaking his head, trying to make a sound, but the metal plate on his mouth remained motionless. His eyes darted around wildly, as if thinking of a way to escape, or simply wanting to continue messing around.
Magneto glanced at him and sneered, "You are more tenacious than I imagined. Unfortunately, no amount of trash talk can change the outcome."
Just as Magneto turned his gaze back, Deadpool suddenly twitched and slammed his head into the ground with all his might. The metal plate made a grating sound, finally loosening a small gap.
"Pah! Finally let me talk!" Deadpool panted, shaking his head vigorously, a theatrical grin spreading across his face. "Hey, Magnet Head, do you know what's wrong with your little show?"
Magneto frowned, not speaking, but clearly a little impatient.
"The problem is--" Deadpool deliberately dragged out his words, "you're too much like an outdated Bond villain! Come on, this kind of dialogue might have scared people in the nineties, but now? You'd be better off learning some cold jokes from 'Terminator,' or just let me teach you how to insert more interesting gags during a fight!"
Magneto lost all patience. He suddenly waved his hand, and the metal plate sealed Deadpool's mouth shut again, with an extra layer of chains wrapped around his head. He said in a low voice, "Shut up."
Logan struggled fiercely during this gap, his muscles suddenly tensing. His body made a teeth-grating creak. Although the chains were firm, he used his indomitable strength to slowly expand his range of movement. He stared at Magneto, his voice squeezed out from between his teeth: "Don't think... you can control me like this forever."
Magneto sneered, "Oh really? Then try it." His fingers tightened again, and the chains contracted like venomous snakes, seemingly intent on crushing Logan's bones completely.
The air was filled with the cold scent of metal, and there was not a trace of pity in Magneto's icy eyes. He lowered his head slightly, his voice as silent as ice and snow: "Resistance... will only make you suffer more."
