The day starts with a peaceful ambiance, the sky a brilliant blue, promising a relaxing and enjoyable time. Many would say, "Life is good," as smiles abound and people revel in the day's beauty. Families walk their dogs, friends gather in parks, engaging in lively conversations, and everyone seems to greet each other with warmth, all while savoring the moments of this lovely day.
But as the sun begins its slow descent, there's a hint of change in the air as clouds begin to gather.
Man: "Rain? I didn't hear anything about it for today."
Woman: "Weather can be unpredictable sometimes; we might be in for a surprise."
The clouds darken, prompting curious glances upward from people who begin to wonder what lies ahead. With a sense of expectation, individuals pull out their umbrellas, perhaps foreshadowing a sudden downpour. The sun, now barely visible, casts an ominous shade of deep red before slipping further into the horizon, leaving everyone anticipating what the storm may bring.
In an explosive flash of light, chaos erupts across the globe, spilling countless shades of red into the skies. A massive, swirling ball of cosmic energy defies the very laws of physics, visible from every corner of the Earth. A violent gust of wind obliterates all reflective surfaces, toppling buildings and mercilessly cutting down people as if they were mere pieces of paper.
Fire sweeps across the landscape, earthquakes tremble beneath our feet, and the ground splits apart. In mere seconds, millions lie dead.
Light, lightning, darkness, and cosmic forces surge wildly, defying all logic and reaching out into the vastness of space. The Earth fractures, exposing its core and unbalancing everything we know.
A figure emerges, wrapped in dark ropes, darting through the woods, clutching something swathed in a white blanket.
Narrator: "Earth has now become a living hell."
The world glitches and trembles, as if reality itself is tearing apart.
**3.2.1... BLAST OFF!!**
With an explosive surge from the cannon, someone soars into the bright blue sky, cutting through a few wispy clouds.
As they rotate in the air, confidence surges within. They smoothly straighten out, adopting a sleek gliding form with a triumphant smile.
Flaminto: "Alright! Onward to... The Odyssey!"
In the vibrant scene, we see Flaminto, a 14-year-old boy who stands out with his striking dark skin and hair that resembles flickering flames, radiating hues of red and orange. His outfit is a dramatic blend of black and fiery orange, perfectly complementing his dynamic appearance. Atop his head, he wears a distinctive headband emblazoned with the letter "F," symbolizing his fiery spirit and adventurous nature. Protective arm bracelets were covered in shiny gold. Eyes that give off a golden brownish color.
Soaring high above the bustling town, Flaminto feels the exhilaration of the wind rushing past him, but in an unexpected twist, he miscalculates his landing and plummets straight into a small, vibrant food shop! Boxes filled with fresh produce splinter under the impact, sending fruits tumbling everywhere.
The shopkeeper, an irate figure armed with a rolling pin, shrieks in disbelief.
"Flaminto: "SORRY! SORRY!"
With no time to lose, he bolts away, launching himself off the ground and gliding down a steep, cobblestoned hill.
As he swoops down, he's enveloped by the lively sights and sounds of quaint brick houses stacked like a colorful mosaic along the slope. People bustle up and down the hill, some on foot, others pedaling furiously on bicycles, while a majestic forest looms in the background, its towering trees beckoning to the clouds above.
Then, amidst the hustle, he spots it—an ominous scene unfolding! A group of rough-looking men encircles a woman dressed in a flowery sundress. Her sun hat and basket add an innocent charm, but the tension is palpable.
In a split second, Flaminto pivots, landing deftly on the back of one of the men as he crashes into a wall. He swiftly turns, positioning himself protectively in front of the woman, fists clenched and ready for action. The thrill of the moment surges through him as he prepares to defend her against the looming threat!
Guy #1: "Who do you think you are, some sorta hero?"
Flaminto: "Yeah, and if I were, I would consider that terrible haircut the real criminal. You look like you got fired at a kid's birthday party."
Causing laughter from everyone which angers Guy 1.
Guy 1: "You little shit!" Attempting to punch Flaminto.
Someone attacks him from behind; sweeping his legs and pinning him to the ground. Standing on him with one leg.
??: "That haircut makes the mirrors afraid of you."
His hair is a vibrant blend of rich brown and deep blue, thick and spiky at the back, framing his face with long, bushy sideburns that add to his distinctive look. His skin is a luscious dark chocolate hue, complementing his striking brownish-blue eyes that seem to flicker with intensity.
He wears a snug-fitting black and blue shirt adorned with a bold lightning symbol at its center, making a statement of energy and dynamism. Brown straps cross over his chest, wrapping around his back, purposefully designed to hold his signature weapon.
His pants are black, accented with light blue streaks that run down the legs, offering a sharp contrast. On his feet are blue and yellow shoes, each featuring a mini lightning symbol on the side, tying together his electrifying style.
Flaminto smirked as he watched the men harassing the woman attempt to retreat, but he wasn't about to let them off that easily.
"Hey, wait!" he called out, and as they turned, his fist met one man's face with a satisfying thud, sending all three crashing against the wall like rag dolls.
Blood trickled from one of their noses as they slumped to the ground, unconscious. The other bystander, who had jumped in to help, stared wide-eyed at Flaminto.
"If I hadn't stopped them, they would've just kept coming back. Lesson learned - class dismissed," Flaminto quipped, brushing his hands together.
The trio of men scrambled away in terror, leaving the woman free at last. She bowed her head, her voice trembling with gratitude.
"Thank you so much for saving me! I have some muffins if you'd like?"
Flaminto and the helpful stranger exchanged glances, nodding appreciatively as she handed them the baked goodies.
"Not a big deal," he said, taking a bite out of the muffin.
Flaminto grinned. "No problem at all."
With a grateful smile, the stranger bowed his head slightly in return, a gesture Flaminto mimicked with a chuckle.
"Thank you," the stranger said.
"Thank you very much," Flaminto echoed.
As the woman bowed one last time and walked away, the man who had assisted her started to move on as well. But Flaminto wasn't letting him get away that easily.
"Hey, I'm Flaminto! What's your name?" he inquired, a playful smirk lighting up his face.
The stranger chuckled softly at the enthusiasm. "Kidlat," he replied casually.
"Nice to meet you, Kidlat! How about joining me on a little adventure?" Flaminto suggested, his eyes glinting with excitement.
"Why would I do that?" Kidlat raised an eyebrow, folding his arms skeptically.
Flaminto shrugged, his grin widening. "Just a hunch."
Kidlat leaned back, clearly intrigued but still not convinced. "I need more info than that," he said, a challenging glint in his eyes.
Flaminto: "There's a saying I was told when I was younger: 'Lightning never strikes twice.' It feels almost surreal since you have a lightning bolt on your chest. So what do you say?"
Kidlat laughs.
Kidlat: "Alright, you've sold me. I'll join you, but you've got to promise me one thing." He raises his pointer finger.
Flaminto: "Yeah?"
Kidlat: "This is a one-time deal, no do-overs."
Flaminto: "Right hand to lightning." He raises his right hand with a smile.
As they walk down the hill, the sun casts a golden glow around them; they share their dreams and aspirations.
Flaminto: "So what's your dream?" Still savoring his muffin.
Kidlat: "To be the fastest alive. It might sound silly, but I'll achieve it no matter what. How about you? What drives you to seek adventure?"
Flaminto: "Well, my dream is a bit more complex and challenging. It's—" he sighs.
They continue walking, the sun shining brightly above.
SPIRIT NOT LIKE OURS
As Flaminto and Kidlat trekked through the vibrant landscape, their excitement crackled in the air like electricity.
Kidlat halted, eyes wide. "Hold up! You're telling me you invited me to join this 'Adventure' with no clue on how it'll kick off?"
Flaminto grinned, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "You're the one who decided to join after all!"
With a flash of annoyance, Kidlat smacked Flaminto on the back of his head, a burst of flames igniting momentarily. Flaminto chuckled, igniting Kidlat's temper further. In a swift motion, he shoved Flaminto, sending him rolling down the hill in a flurry of laughter.
Kidlat couldn't help but laugh, but Flaminto quickly regained his footing, and soon they were in a playful scuffle. Suddenly, their fun was interrupted as they spotted a thief snatching an item from a young girl—a spark of seriousness instantly replacing their banter.
With determination, they fixed a fierce glare on the thief, who froze in his tracks. Just then, a stunning woman descended from the sky, launching off a building and flipping gracefully through the air with acrobatic finesse. She landed with a powerful thud, cratering the ground as she pinned the thief beneath her.
"Stealing isn't just wrong; it's foolish! Always ask for help before taking from others. You never know how much you're impacting someone's life. Don't let it happen again!" Her voice was stern and commanding, resonating with authority.
Dressed in a striking Viking ensemble—a skirt complemented with black pants beneath, fur adorning her shoulders, and boots wrapped in fluffy material—she shone brilliantly in the sunlight. Her fiery pink Viking-like hair framed her dark-skinned face as she stood tall, radiating power.
While still atop the subdued thief, she turned her gaze toward Flaminto and Kidlat. Their eyes locked momentarily before she turned, picking up the stolen item and handing it back to the little girl, who embraced her with gratitude.
Flaminto smirked. "She's fierce."
Kidlat nodded, impressed. "Yeah, she got decent combat skills."
Before they could gather their thoughts, Flaminto called out, "HEY! Fearless Viking lady! Join us on an Adventure!"
She turned, curiosity piqued, and approached them. "Adventure? What do you mean?"
Flaminto, bubbling with enthusiasm, answered, "We're planning to journey across the world!"
"Is that it?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
Flaminto nodded eagerly. "Absolutely!"
"Cool! But I've got questions," she replied, crossing her arms.
"Shoot!" Flaminto urged.
"Can you fight?"
Flaminto and Kidlat answered in unison, "Yes!"
"Do you have a solid plan?"
"For what?" Flaminto questioned, scratching his head.
"In general!" she pressed.
"Mostly, we wing it," Flaminto confessed with a grin.
"Do you have courage?" she challenged.
"Absolutely!" Kidlat proclaimed.
"Yup!" added Flaminto.
"Are you loyal, honest, and courageous?"
"Yeah!" they responded with conviction.
"What's your strategy in a fight?"
Kidlat hesitated. Flaminto, however, fired back without missing a beat. "Fight until we win!"
Silence hung in the air for a moment as she processed his words.
"Why would I join you then?" she asked, tilting her head, clearly skeptical.
In perfect harmony, Flaminto and Kidlat replied with, "We'll get food!
Which completely shifts her perspective. They head to a park and take a seat at a table. The scene is beautiful, with a tree at the center surrounded by vibrant flowers, and plenty of trees providing ample shade. Butterflies flit about gracefully.
Kidlat: "What's your name?"
Rune: "It's Rune."
Flaminto: "Nice to meet you, Rune."
Silence hangs in the air as they gather their thoughts, the tension palpable. Finally, Rune breaks the ice with a soft yet adventurous tone.
Rune: "Just so you know, I didn't join just for the food. I'm on a quest for self-discovery! I crave adventure and can't stand being still. Plus, I've got my eyes set on a goal."
Flaminto & Kidlat: "Same here!"
Laughter erupts among them, a spark of camaraderie igniting as Flaminto suddenly stands up, brimming with enthusiasm.
Flaminto: "So, are you ready for an adventure?"
Confusion washes over Rune and Kidlat; Flaminto hadn't shared the plan yet. With a mischievous grin, he leads them to a riverbank where a colossal cannon awaits, looming like something out of a wild fantasy.
Flaminto points at the cannon, and their eyes widen in disbelief.
Kidlat beams with excitement. "Time to jump in!"
Rune looks skeptical, needing more clarity. "Wait, what are we doing?"
Kidlat replies eagerly, "Jumping in a cannon! What else?"
Rune raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, but why?"
Flaminto flashes a confident grin. "Trust me, it'll all become clear once you're in the cannon."
After a moment of hesitation, Rune finally hops into the cannon, following Kidlat. With a flick of his finger, Flaminto ignites the cannon, a sharp snap echoing in the air. Then, without a second thought, he dives in headfirst!
Suddenly, Kidlat catches a whiff of something burning.
Kidlat: "Is something on fire?"
Before he can get an answer, the cannon ignites with a roar, sending them into the sky! Flaminto spirals backward with joy, Kidlat floats effortlessly, while Rune, initially surprised, regains her balance and soars, marveling at the stunning view around her.
Flaminto shouts over the wind, "Pretty cool, right?!"
Rune, her eyes shining with excitement, exclaims, "This is amazing!"
The golden sun envelops them in warm light, the brisk wind tousles their hair, and above them stretches an infinite blue sky adorned with fluffy clouds. It feels as if they're defying gravity itself.
Kidlat grins broadly. "Nothing can hold me down!"
Flaminto's face radiates ambition. "That's my goal!"
Rune and Kidlat exchange glances, intrigued as Flaminto continues with passion.
Flaminto: "To be free, with nothing but gravity and the stars as my limits!"
The camera captures the fire in his eyes, then spins around to showcase their breathtaking surroundings as Flaminto shouts triumphantly into the sky.
Flaminto: "This world has yet to see a Spirit like ours!"
And with that, they dive into the exhilaration of the Meteor Shower Arc!
