Below the Doom Group building, figures swarmed.
Ten men, brimming with profound inner strength, weaved through the crowd like shuttles. Every second, twenty or thirty people fell to the ground, writhing in pain with twisted legs.
Some tried to flee, but before their legs could even move, they collapsed, their bodies trembling with agony, their wails echoing.
This scene of blatant violence unfolded before countless viewers watching the live news broadcast.
On the seventh floor, Bai Ye listened to the screams rising from below. After a brief tightening of his expression, he finally couldn't help but laugh.
"Awesome!!!"
With a light wave of his arm, Bai Ye's lips curled into a smile. He turned to Kingpin and said, "Make sure you clean up the mess neatly. Also, I recall they were using a caricature of me during their protest, right?"
"Um, yes, Mr. Bai." Kingpin nodded.
"That's an insult to my reputation, so remember to have a lawyer send each of them a legal letter and make them pay me additional compensation for mental distress."
Bai Ye smiled faintly and said, "Remember, don't let them have an easy time in the hospital, absolutely not."
Ruthless! Too ruthless!
Susan and the others were all terrified, their hearts filled with dread.
Not only were their three legs broken, but they wouldn't even receive any compensation?
It wasn't enough that they wouldn't receive compensation, but they also had to extract mental distress fees from these people?
Seeing Bai Ye, even Satan in hell would have to admit defeat.
While they were talking, the screams quickly stopped thanks to the efficiency of the thugs below. Over three hundred people were writhing on the ground in agony; the pain of having a leg broken was simply too much to bear.
Oh, right, some of the rioters were biologically female, so they were lucky enough to only have two legs broken.
After dealing with these people, the ten thugs didn't run away. They stood in place, motionless, under everyone's gaze.
"Do you know what you're doing?"
At this moment, the doors of the Doom Group slowly opened, and Bai Ye walked out, sternly questioning, "This is intentional injury. Why did you do this?"
"We're your fervent fans. We couldn't stand it, so we spontaneously organized ourselves," one of the thugs replied as previously instructed.
"Oh, so you're my fans. Well, be careful in prison, and remember to abide by the law." Bai Ye waved his hand casually, and then he saw the police car arrive belatedly.
"Nobody move, put your hands up!" A police officer shouted as he got out of the car, then he instinctively swore when he saw the moaning crowd on the ground: "What the hell?"
The scene before him was truly shocking.
Without the police officer lifting a finger, the ten thugs who had done the work had already raised their hands, willingly stepping forward to be handcuffed.
As for Bai Ye and Kingpin? What did this have to do with them?
Soon, because the incident had become so large, a large number of ambulances and police cars surrounded the area. Before the protesters with broken legs were carried onto the ambulances on stretchers, they all saluted Bai Ye with resentful eyes.
Everyone knew that Bai Ye had done this, but there was no evidence.
"Officer, those people all admitted it themselves! They're my die-hard fans. I had nothing to do with them before today, and I don't even know their names."
"Don't let fan behavior reflect on the idol."
Bai Ye spread his hands, looking at the police chief in front of him, and blinked innocently. "You're not going to arrest me, are you?"
"You're right, you are highly suspected in this case. I strongly suspect you are the mastermind. Come with us now," the leading police officer said angrily, holding handcuffs.
"But my time is precious, be lenient, you can't find anything anyway," Bai Ye argued.
"Yes, officer, I am the chairman of the Doom Group, and I can assure you that Mr. Bai has absolutely nothing to do with this." Victor stepped forward to support him.
"Mutant freak." The police chief muttered the words under his breath, his face contorted with disgust as he stiffly declared, "I have the right to detain you all. Come with me to the station."
"I'm sorry, but there was a word you just said that caught my attention. Could you repeat it?" Bai Ye's face now held a dangerous smile.
"Just come with me to the station, Mr. Bai." The police chief didn't respond to Bai Ye and rattled the handcuffs. But in the next moment, Bai Ye's head tilted to the side.
What is this guy doing? The police chief looked at Bai Ye, confused as he turned his head and crouched down.
But only Kingpin understood: I don't want to see this person.
In the next instant, one of the thugs who had been caught shouted, "How dare you make things difficult for my idol! Take this!"
He then shoved aside the surrounding officers, delivering a flying kick that sent the police chief sprawling. Then, under the tense gazes of the surrounding officers, he hammered fist after fist into the police chief's face, knocking him unconscious.
"What are you doing? Stop it!" A police officer beside him cried out, lunging forward to pull the man away. When he finally managed to separate them, the police chief was covered in blood, gasping for air.
"I told you, no fighting and killing. It's a bad look."
After it was all over, Bai Ye stood up, looking at the man. "Look at how you beat up the police chief. Even his mother wouldn't recognize him. Go to jail and reform yourself properly."
The man lowered his head and said, "Mr. Bai is right," then obediently allowed the police to handcuff him.
"This police chief, then." Bai Ye smiled at another officer, raising his hands and offering them forward. "The police chief just now was right. I should also abide by the law. You can arrest me too."
The somewhat young officer nodded instinctively.
But the next moment, he found that the handcuffed criminals had all turned to look at him with calm eyes, the meaning within them was self-evident.
"No, no, it's not necessary." The officer backed away in fright, waving his hands repeatedly.
"You don't want any? Alright, you said it." Bai Ye sighed regretfully, letting his hands fall to his sides.
The onlookers all thought resentfully, 'Too arrogant.'
But even though they were angry, the surrounding police officers instinctively ignored Bai Ye, as if he wasn't even there.
Otherwise, what if he squatted down on the ground, pretending to be a victim, and then a crazy fan jumped out and killed them all?
Right now, they were facing Bai Ye, who had both strength, money, and power.
In the face of absolute violence, they were completely helpless against Bai Ye.
