Willow stared at the message on her phone, biting her lower lip thoughtfully as she walked toward the Ascendants' cafeteria. She stopped in front of the building, staring at it for a long moment before sighing and turning away. She wasn't hungry anymore. Might as well just head to class.
At least she didn't have any of Ismere's lectures today. The last thing she needed was to see that woman's face after the whole "Doctor Riven Callis is evil" fiasco.
The morning dragged on through back-to-back classes, and it didn't take long for her to notice that Sage wasn't in any of them.
When the final bell rang, Willow was about to head out for lunch when the door opened, and Gage and Jett walked in, scanning the room like they were searching for someone. Their eyes landed on her almost immediately.
