Mars, Olympus Mons, 2045
Sylvan Veit woke up, lying down on his bed in the Mars habitat he rubbed his eyes drowsily, he quickly got up and went to go get ready for the morning.
Sylvan is a researcher on Mars, tasked with studying Mars and its entirety. In the year 2035 humanity finally step foot on Mars, as they explored the vast barren landscape they found a cave, it had a skeleton along with a book, this very book changed all of humanity, it was a book that was able to vastly improve physical capabilities and later discovered it could improve spiritual abilities too.
After 5 years humanity had many people recreate and evolve this technique for themselves, a basic technique was given out to people who had talent for it, it was the basic cultivation technique, of course the name was basic too, what did you expect? The life energy of an average human was 0.1.
Suddenly martial art schools began popping up everywhere, it was a place that kids that graduated highschool would go since their bodies would be ideal for starting cultivation.
How this cultivation worked was people were given a cultivation technique which would improve life energy, life energy was the energy that flowed through every living being, life energy determined someones physique and spiritual power. The cultivation technique taught how to absorb life energy to make your body stronger and improve your spiritual power too.
Sylvan was given a special technique due to being chosen as one of the researchers to go to Mars, called the Cosmic Life Technique, the very book that humanity found 10 years ago, though it was simplified for regular people and mass taught.
As Sylvan finished putting his clothes on, he put his space suit on and went outside, the Mars habitat was located at the base of the massive volcanoe, Olympus Mons. It was Sylvan's job to research Mars. After a decade of research it was found that creatures actually existed on Mars, though most were harmful and dangerous, as they were big and evolved to live on the harsh environment of Mars, as large wall was erected around the giant Mars habitat to insure no monsters got in.
As Sylvan stepped outside, he looked at the large wall and the rusty red landscape of dust and sand, Sylvan went to the large futuristic building, heavily armored. Sylvan walked into the building as the large doors automatically opened, he walked into the building taking off his space suit and setting it down on a large bench, he went to the reception stand and scanned in, he took his space suit and headed to one of the cultivation rooms. He went inside and put his space suit inside the large locker. He then sat in the middle and began to cultivate.
"It's been two fucking months and my life energy only increased from 2 to 2.1, im never gonna become a martial Warrior at this rate" Sylvan checked his phone and saw that it has been 10 hours already. Sylvan sighed, stood up and put on his space suit, then walked out the large building then went into his habitat.
As the night went on Sylvan heard a large explosion, it would be deafening if it wasn't because of the thin atmosphere. Sylvan immediately woke up, put his space suit on and went outside, he saw two large horned beasts about 20 meters tall each, they were Grandmaster level beasts, no one here was a match for them. As Sylvan saw this he immediately ran to a futuristic truck with 6 wheels. The nearest large habitat was about 100 miles away, but before he could the vehicle was immediately crushed. "Fuck, what the hell am I supposed to against a Grandmaster beast?," he immediately kicked the door out, but as soon as he got out he was knocked over a hundred feet away in a mere seconds, when he tried to walk he couldn't, both of his legs were gone. "Fuck!" As he was about to die he saw something in front of him...
Host is about to die, initiating self recovery
As Sylvan watched his legs grow back somehow he didn't have time to think how, he ran as fast as he could to the nearest vehicle, got in and ran to the closest major habitat, about 200 miles away. At 50 miles away from the major habitat, he blacked out from the shock.
2 days later.
As a group of people were passing by they saw the vehicle, turned over with a somehow unharmed body by it. "Holy shit is that guy dead?" As they drove over there, they got out of the vehicle, a large bald man crouched down beside Sylvan, checking his pulse "Holy shit, this guy is somehow still alive its miracle alone that's hes alive but with no wounds at all? That shouldn't be possible" the bald man picked Sylvan up and put him in the backseat.
The large bald man approached the major habitat, he went through security, then through the giant gate, he soon arrived at a nearby hospital.
The large bald man carried him to the receptionist. "I need a nurse or someone, i found this man in a crashed vehicle but for some reason he has no wounds, I need someone to check if hes okay or not."
The receptionist dials on the phone, and a few minutes later a female nurse arrived, "Is this the patient?"
"Yes ma'am, the bald man replied."
"Alright then, follow me." The nurse took Sylvan into a room and put him on a bed, he checked his pulse, and listened to his breathing. She then checked if there was any anomalies, but everything was good.
"He seems to be completely fine, are you sure he was next to a crashed car?"
"Yes ma'am, im sure, the vehicle was flipped over but for some reason he was completely fine"
"Hmm there's more behind this then I think, I'll ask him when he wakes up, thank you for bringing him here, what is your name by the way?"
"My name is Rick"
"Well thank you Rick for saving him, do you have anything to leave for him or say to him?"
"I dont have anything to say to him, im just glad I helped someone for once" As rick said that he left.
