He runs back at Cosmic while yelling. He continues to try to hit him with Skull Cleaver, cosmic blocks with his sword. "Are you going to try anything other than randomly swinging your sword? It obviously isn't doing much to help you hit me," Cosmic says. He stabs another knife in Satoshi's neck. Satoshi stops attacking, and Cosmic jumps back.
"I'm only just getting started," Satoshi says. He pulls the knife out of his neck and throws it on the ground. Sharp bones grow out of the palms of his hands, piercing his skin. They go along right below his fingers. They replicate the look of a Wagh Nakh. "You alone won't be enough once I get serious."
Satoshi dashes at Cosmic; he swings his hand to slash him. Cosmic blocks the first attack with his sword, but Satoshi swings with his other hand before Cosmic can steady his sword. Satoshi swings and knocks Cosmic's sword to the side, completely breaking down his defense. Satoshi slashes again, shallowly slicing Cosmic's chest. Satoshi stabs his claws into Cosmic's arm and wraps his hands around his arm. Satoshi continues to slash with his free hand. Cosmic cuts his arm off and jumps back. Satoshi starts laughing at Cosmic. "What's wrong, no cocky remark this time. How are you liking your newly amputated arm I helped you get? It's not that big of a deal, just heal it," Satoshi says.
Cosmic looks at Satoshi as he slowly stands up. He is still grinning, but not as widely. "You finally land a hit, and you think you've won. I'm surprised that you noticed that I don't have instant regeneration. This is the first time you've damaged me so far," Cosmic says. He uses healing magic on himself. It stops the bleeding from his arm and heals the cuts.
Satoshi rips the severed arm from his claws. He crushes the arm, causing blood to splatter everywhere. "It's simple. As I was slashing you, I didn't ever feel like I was slashing stuff that I already have. With instant regeneration, you always have slight passive regen even if you aren't actively using your instant regeneration," Satoshi says, still grinning. He pulls out a bloody spear from his arm. The spear is black with blood dripping down it.
Cosmic laughs a little." I guess I never knew that. I should cast a passive regen spell before my fights from now on to make sure my opponents don't learn about my lack of instant regeneration. That will be useful information for my future fights that I have," Cosmic says.
Satoshi stops grinning, starting to get annoyed. "It's a shame you won't get to use that new information, because you won't be having any future fights. You shall die in this fight here. Now I know that there is no point in trying to wear down your regen. I just need to go directly for fatal attacks," His claws go back into his hand.
"This battle is over," Aevum says to the berserker mage. Iori starts walking towards the mage, her scythe resting on her shoulders. "Now that half of your body is charred, you won't be able to regenerate any of those wounds. How will you last while being half the man you once were?" Aevum says.
"How will I last? Well, that is quite simple." Blood starts to flow out from under the burns, and the blood starts to push against the charred skin before completely ripping it off. The berserker mage regenerates all the damage he took and returns to his normal state. He pants slightly as he is starting to get a bit tired. "It's as simple as that. Just make it so I can heal the damage. Now there is no problem with fighting. It's just as easy as that," he says.
"I'd think this guy was a maniac if I hadn't already known Satoshi. I can't believe he decided to just forcibly remove all the charred flesh so he can heal. It may have worked, but healing that much at once had to have tired him out to a large degree. So now, it only comes down to how long till he is completely unable to heal or even fight," Iori says. He swings her scythe at the berserker mage. He hits her scythe upwards and then elbows her stomach. She flies past Aevum and Krytheos. "I'll be back later," She says to Aevum as she flies past. She flies and hits the base; dust flies in the air along her path.
Aevum turns towards Krytheos to tell him what she said. "She said to tell you that you need to do more, you damn wimp," Aevum says, "She specified that I needed to tell you this." He casts a fireball at the berserker mage. "O refk ksof fmay zoks ksire muzab ul lobire: Lobire Tey," he chants.
"There is no way that she said that while she was flying away. She had to have something like 'I'll be back later' or something else that would make more sense than that," Krytheos says. He unsummons his battle axe and resummons his bow. He shoots 10 arrows at the berserker mage. The berserker mage punches through the arrows. "Doesn't matter if she isn't here, we've still got this."
Dai'chi is lying on his bed in the Mysterio Mansion. "I wonder if those bounty hunters have attacked the Crusaders yet. While they did attack Satoshi while at the scorched kingdom, there's no way they attacked the Crusaders so soon afterward. They have to take some time to prepare their army," Dai'chi says.
Lilith breaks down Dai'chi's door. "Get up, those bounty hunters are attacking the Crusaders. We should probably go help them. I got a feeling it's about to start not going well for them," She says. Dai'chi gets up, groaning. He rolls his neck and then gets up from his bed. They teleport away to the battlefield.
Satoshi continues to fight Cosmic. He slowly starts letting down his guard as he continues to fight Cosmic. He attacks with his spear. Each attack is barely blocked, creating small scratches on Cosmic. He goes down to pierce his spear through Cosmic's spear, his attack not able to be blocked. He is about to kill Cosmic when someone new appears behind Satoshi, completely unknown to Satoshi. Iori dashes over to him to stop the person, as someone else also appears behind her. They are both about to be hit when Lilith and Dai'chi appear just in time to stop both attacks. "Looks like we made it," Lilith says
