Chapter 146: Behind the Scenes
Arthur returned to the room, but he didn't sense Gwen's energy fluctuations. It seemed she hadn't listened to his advice to stay home and wait obediently, but had instead continued toward the city center.
Of course, this outcome was within Arthur's expectations. Given Gwen's sense of justice and responsibility, she wouldn't be content to just be a bystander.
Moreover, what Arthur did today seemed commonplace to him, but for this World, it was indeed a bit crazy... After returning home, Arthur lay on the sofa and turned on the TV, waiting for Gwen to return. During this process, some things came to mind.
A few days ago, when Arthur's popularity exploded, his address in Queens had already been exposed. Although he didn't fear potential dangers, he couldn't avoid trouble, so he was already planning to move.
Also, he needed to get a new car, even though he didn't need any means of transport... There were many other such matters, like whether to continue finishing university and so on. He now possessed the power to roam the Universe, yet he remained huddled on this small blue Planet... Life is always full of wonders; just a moment ago, he was like a king presiding over the World, and now he was inevitably thinking about these trivialities of life. Fortunately, he didn't feel any distress.
Suddenly, the door of the Villa was pushed open, and Gwen, wearing her white and black tight-fitting uniform, appeared at the doorway.
"You actually didn't use the window!" Arthur's voice rang out. "Out of character... It seems today's events have affected you greatly."
Gwen stood at the door without moving, just quietly staring at Arthur.
"There might be paparazzi or fanatical fans outside right now. Do you want Spider-Woman and Arthur to be on tomorrow morning's entertainment headlines together?" Arthur smiled. "Come in, Gwen. That expression of yours looks like I've done something to wrong you!"
Gwen entered the room and closed the door. She had calmed down a lot on the way back. Now she just wanted to have an open and honest talk with Arthur, rather than continuing to cause trouble and conflict.
"Why did you do that? You're declaring war on the whole World..."
Arthur patted the spot beside him, signaling Gwen. Gwenhesitated for a moment before walking over and sitting down.
"What did I do? Those people deserved to be punished. I've never been a selfless Superhero for them, you know that!"
Arthur reached out to put his arm around Gwen. Gwenresisted a little, but Arthur was firm, and she stopped struggling.
"But it shouldn't have been in that way!" Gwen's emotions were a bit agitated. "You forced them to kneel to you..."
"They brought it on themselves. Look at those banners and the insults they hurled at me. I don't have time to listen to their confessions one by one. This was the simplest way. You know I hate trouble," Arthur said, holding Gwen. "If it weren't because I had to consider my Superherogirlfriend's feelings, it wouldn't have been as simple as making them kneel... Can we stop talking about this? I wasn't wrong today."
"But this will bring even bigger trouble," Gwen said. "You teach me not to be a Superhero, to avoid attracting trouble and danger, but now you've immediately become the one with the biggest impact!"
"Because you are weak, as fragile as porcelain, that's why I advise you like that," Arthur said with a smile. "But I'm different. I can easily handle those dangers and troubles. So what if I declare war on the whole World? I never fear a challenge. Who has the patience to come out and persuade them with kind words every time they make a scene? From now on, everyone will behave!"
"I heard your speech," Gwen fell silent for a while, then looked at Arthur and said, "Before this, I never knew you wanted to be a king, or that you had tendencies toward violent destruction... I only knew you were cold toward people."
"That was just threatening language. I have no interest in being a ruler; a king has a mountain of trouble to deal with... unless the Queen is you." Arthur held Gwen tighter. "Are you going to choose a group of strangers over your boyfriend? They're just a bunch of ungrateful people who don't deserve it. If it weren't for me, New York would have vanished in a nuclear explosion long ago. I protected them, but all I got in return was their malice."
Gwen remained silent.
Arthur laughed. "Even you are speechless. Hurry up and apologize to me. Today you not only interrupted my speech but also laid a hand on me."
"And the Anti-Demon Alliance..." Gwen thought of her teammates again. "You crushed Stark's armor, knocked down Captain America, pinned Agent Barton to the wall, and you actually crushed Thor's Mjolnir. He bragged that it was forged in a star and only he could lift it, but I told him you could lift it too..."
"I was also toyed with by you. You crushed the Anti-Demon Alliance... and Dr. Banner, where did he go?"
"Um... Hulk is currently in space and will land on the moon in half an hour. I said I'd send him to the moon." Arthurlooked into Gwen's eyes. "Alright, alright, I'll bring him back now. He'll land in the Pacific Ocean!"
"You are very powerful, but don't you think your actions are a bit excessive?" Gwen shook her head and continued, "Now you've started ignoring the law and all rules..."
"Uh... sorry, I think I've always been like this." Arthurstroked Gwen's thigh and said, "Besides, it was self-defense. You guys were the ones who kept bothering me and were the ones who attacked first. It's ridiculous; do you think you're the Police? Trying to arrest me."
"Am I ridiculous too?"
Arthur said seriously, "A little bit, actually. Knowing you couldn't possibly defeat me but still attacking, and now that you've failed, putting on a pitiful expression to win my sympathy..."
Gwen struggled to stand up, but Arthur stopped her.
"Just kidding."
"It's not funny!"
"Actually, the current situation isn't bad. I never thought about ruling the Earth or hurting anyone; I just wanted to make those people shut up! My goal is achieved. You can continue being a Superhero to your heart's content, and I'll look out for you from now on; no one will dare to do anything." Arthur held Gwen close and said, "Okay? Let's not talk about that anymore..."
As he spoke, Arthur leaned in to kiss Gwen. Gwenseemed to be ignited, kissing Arthur back passionately.
But after a moment, Gwen pushed Arthur away again.
"Sorry, I want to be alone for a bit..."
"Gwen, since when was I not your best confidant?" Arthursaid, stroking Gwen's hair.
Gwen said faintly, "Because all these troubles were brought by you..."
"I don't care. Do you think my anger has been completely extinguished?" Arthur said, kissing Gwen's neck. "Either you help me, or I vent it on New York."
"Are you threatening me?" Gwen asked.
"Of course not. How could I threaten you? You're my Gwen... Unzip it yourself; you wouldn't want me to ruin your new uniform, would you?"
"Arthur, I'm starting to feel more and more like you're a bastard! Ah..."
...Night fell over New York, and the headquarters of the Anti-Demon Alliance was brightly lit.
"Just as Arthur said, we can now change this sign to the 'Anti-Arthur Alliance'." Tony looked around at everyone, the smile on his face carrying a hint of bitterness. "Following the demons, we have encountered a second troublesome opponent."
"Things haven't reached that level of severity yet." Captain America, whose chest and arms were wrapped in bandages and supports, said, "Arthur is ultimately different from the demons. He isn't that harmful, and he isn't our enemy yet."
"Oh? And who was it that broke both your hands?" Tonyshook his head.
"So far, he has only killed one person in a state of extreme rage. Forget demons, the destruction he caused is far less than Loki's. But before that, he repelled the Chitauri and saved New York." Captain America didn't care about Tony's mockery and continued, "It's actually understandable. He possesses power that transcends all rules, so it's normal for his sense of legality to be weak. After encountering that kind of protest that bordered on betrayal, it's normal to lose one's reason."
"But he is fearless. Once a person loses their sense of awe, it's easy to fall and become a demon." Hill shook her head. "I have a premonition that he will become the next demon."
"Is there any point in this nonsense?" Thor tapped the table, very annoyed. "Regardless of whether he is violent, harmful, or still possesses a sense of awe, right now, no matter what he wants to do, no one can restrain him. The Anti-Demon Alliance is a joke in front of him!"
Hill and Captain America looked at Tony. Tony shrugged helplessly. Ever since Mjolnir was crushed by Arthur, Thor's mental state had been very poor.
"Thor, all the remains of your hammer have been found. They've been thoughtfully reshaped with adhesive material. Although you can't swing it to summon lightning like before, at least it can be kept as a memento." Tonypatted Thor's shoulder.
Thor only let out an angry curse.
"I advise you to take Loki back to Asgard soon," Tony said.
"Do you want me to be a deserter?" Thor said angrily.
"No, I'm just worried about Loki being an unstable factor." Tony shook his head. "You can find another hammer to use as a weapon in Asgard. We'll wait for you to come back."
"I told you, there is only one Mjolnir!"
"But it's broken. You have to accept reality," Tony said with some regret. "Otherwise, what else can be done? Have Arthur apologize to you?"
Captain America lay back in his chair, looking at the ceiling. "I feel like things are going to take a turn for the worse..."
"Fortunately, we still have one trump card that can restrain Arthur," Hill said, shaking her head.
"Spider-Woman?" Tony said. "I hope so; she has always been reliable. Meeting adjourned. I'm going to visit AgentBarton and Dr. Banner. Anyone coming along?"
Chapter 147: Space Travel
The warm morning Sun shone through the window into the room, illuminating Gwen's crystal-clear skin.
Gwen was still sound asleep. The two of them had gone crazy late into the night, and in the end, even her Spider-Woman physique felt exhausted. Officer Gwen had actually begged for mercy from the anti-hero Arthur, who was responsible for creating social unrest... Beside her, the bare-chested Arthur was already awake. He propped himself up, staring blankly at Gwen as she slept, playing with her hair.
Suddenly, Gwen's phone rang nearby with a notification sound.
"Thor is returning to Asgard this afternoon. Everyone is coming to see him off. Do you want to come along..."
Arthur assured himself he had no intention of peeking at his girlfriend's phone messages; he just subconsciously looked toward the source of the sound after hearing it and saw that line of text... Thor was going back to Asgard?
Arthur pinched Gwen's hair and gently brushed it against her nose. Knowing this information, he couldn't help but think about related matters, his thoughts spreading rapidly... Currently, the Space Stone was with Wanda. Without the Space Stone, Thor could only have Heimdallsummon the Bifrost Bridge to return to Asgard via the Bifrost Bridge.
In that case, he could take the opportunity to enter the Bifrost Bridge and reach Asgard... After all, the Space Stone couldn't precisely take him to a place he had never been. Using it randomly might result in the Space Stoneteleporting him to some remote corner, much like how Red Skull was sent to the Planet Vormir by the Space Stone to guard the Soul Stone.
Previously, when Arthur used the Space Stone to cross tens of thousands of light-years to hunt down Captain Marvel, it was because he could accurately sense the precise location of the Rat Talisman's summon.
In fact, once he found Asgard's location, he could use the Space Stone to travel freely between Earth and Asgard.
Letting the people of Asgard also feel the fear brought by demons? Perhaps that would be a very interesting thing... After waking up, Arthur prepared breakfast. Just as he had finished pouring the milk and heating the sandwiches, the sound of bare feet stepping on wooden boards echoed from the stairs.
Gwen walked down, rubbing her bleary eyes, with water droplets from washing up still on her face and collar. She was only wearing Arthur's white shirt. The shirt was slightly long but only just managed to cover her thighs, leaving a pair of fair, slender legs exposed to the air. The gaps between the buttons on her chest also revealed a glimpse of the beautiful spring scenery.
Gwen walked down the stairs with her eyes closed, all the way to Arthur. She stood on her tiptoes to give him a morning kiss, then wrapped her arms around his neck and jumped, hanging onto Arthur like a koala as she continued to sleep with her eyes closed.
Arthur continued to plate the breakfast. Carrying Gwen, he walked to the dining table, with several plates floating behind him before landing neatly on the table.
After taking a few bites, Arthur looked at Gwen, who was holding a cup and drinking milk, and said, "I might be leaving Earth for a while..."
"Pfft!" Perhaps shocked by Arthur's words, Gwen spat out a mouthful of milk, most of which landed on Arthur's face.
"Sorry!" Gwen hurriedly pulled out several tissues and handed them over.
Arthur remained very calm, composedly taking the tissues to wipe his face.
"I've also gotten things all over your face before... consider us even now."
"Leaving Earth? I didn't hear that wrong, did I?" After this little interlude, the shock on Gwen's face hadn't faded. "My boyfriend is actually an alien... where is your UFO hidden?"
"Haven't you traveled to other countries? Or other states? Does that mean you're not a New Yorker?" Arthur asked calmly as he cut his sandwich with a table knife.
"My family just went to Paris this summer... oh, it was last year." Gwen smoothed her hair. "But those are two different concepts. You can fly directly to Paris, but you're leaving Earth! I haven't heard of any manned spacecraft launch plans recently..."
"But I wouldn't be surprised if you really were an alien. After all, I've seen two Asgardians and the Chitauri Army... and you fit the image of an alien in movies quite well: various powerful superpowers, orphaned with no living relatives, and you even found an excellent and beautiful human girl to be your girlfriend!"
"Your main point was in the second half, wasn't it? First of all, let me state that I am a pure human, a Chinese-American; you can go verify my DNA..." Arthur said somewhat speechlessly. "And I don't take spaceships; I can fly myself."
"So you're not joking? You're really leaving Earth? Don't you need to breathe? Humans all need oxygen. Can you fly out of the solar system? The solar system is 0.003 light-years wide! Even that alien Thor can't do it; he said their mode of transport is the Bifrost Bridge..." Gwen was very curious about this topic and kept asking questions.
Arthur chewed his food slowly. He really wanted to tell Gwen that a few days ago, he had crossed tens of thousands of light-years and had a cosmic battle with Captain Marvel, one of the top powerhouses among Marvel superheroes. He wondered what her expression would be... "Why are you leaving Earth?" Seeing that Arthur didn't speak, Gwen continued to ask, "Is some Planetfacing a crisis and you're going to save the people there? Okay, that doesn't fit your style... Are you going into space to hunt for treasure? Or is Earth about to explode?"
"Gap year," Arthur said calmly. "Think of it as a study tour? Anyway, there are no classes at school, and I'm waiting to start university in the autumn."
The term "Gap Year" generally refers to a period when young people, after advancing to the next level of schooling or graduating but before starting work, do not rush blindly into society. Instead, they pause to take a long-distance trip, using a period of time to slow down and do what they want to do.
"Traveling to space? That's so cool! Take me with you. We're a couple; we could also make a good team." Gwensaid with some excitement, blinking at Arthur. "Besides, space is very big and very dark. You might develop a mental illness if you're alone. You definitely need someone to accompany you..."
Arthur shook his head and said, "You can't. I heard you have a new internship?"
"How did you know I joined Otto Gunther Octavius's research team? He's the world's most outstanding nuclear physicist... aside from Mr. Stark. It just so happens that I've been interested in atomic physics lately. The team's current plan is to research a project regarding mechanical tentacles!" Gwen introduced. "But I can resign. That's space travel! From building airplanes to flying into space, it took humanity fifty-eight years. No one can resist the temptation of space!"
"Doctor Octopus?" Arthur muttered. "It's not entirely because of the time issue."
As Arthur spoke, he snapped his fingers. Suddenly, Gwenfound herself on the lawn outside the house. Fortunately, her agility prevented her from falling to the ground.
Gwen stepped on the lawn barefoot and said in surprise, "You used this to teleport me back yesterday. magic? You're relying on this to travel the Universe?"
"Not exactly." Arthur stepped forward and hugged Gwen. "Are you ready?"
"What? Starting now?" Gwen panicked a little. She hugged Arthur tightly and said, "No, no, no, are you kidding? I'm not even wearing pants!"
"It's fine, I'll hold onto your butt."
As Arthur spoke, he used the displacement ability of the Snake Talisman after deep invisibility. He took Gwen to an altitude of three thousand meters.
Gwen looked at the clouds that suddenly appeared before her, a bit dazed. She looked down at her feet and instantly let out a scream.
"Ah!!!"
Gwen had been to an altitude of ten thousand meters before, but that was on the Sky Carrier. Now, there was only air beneath her feet! She could only cling to Arthur to feel a shred of security!
"The current altitude is three thousand meters!"
Saying this, Arthur continued to accelerate upward. Given Gwen's physical strength, she could easily withstand it even if Arthur broke the speed of sound, so he didn't have many concerns.
Half a minute later, Arthur spoke again: "It's five thousand meters now. How does it feel?"
"It feels a bit cold... and my breathing is getting a bit difficult!"
Gwen already knew what the problem Arthur mentioned was. She simply couldn't survive in an oxygen-free environment. Without a spaceship, space travel was just a pipe dream.
Arthur continued to accelerate upward. After a while, he spoke again: "It's ten thousand meters now."
"Stop it right now!" Gwen's face had turned somewhat pale from the lack of blood. She leaned back with her eyes closed, revealing her snow-white neck, her hands firmly encircling Arthur's neck.
"Gwen, I find you quite alluring like this..."
As Arthur spoke, he withdrew his power. The two of them suddenly began a free fall downward. A strong sense of weightlessness hit them, scaring Gwen into hugging Arthur for dear life.
"Stop it!" Gwen said, slapping Arthur's shoulder.
Arthur ignored her, burying his head in Gwen's snow-white neck and kissing her.
The two of them spun as they accelerated downward from an altitude of ten thousand meters... Gwen's heart was in her throat. There was nowhere nearby for her to swing her webs, and she had taken off her Web-Shooters last night... "Bastard!"
She knew, of course, that she wouldn't fall to her death—after all, she was holding onto Arthur, who had taken on the entire Anti-Demon Alliance alone—but this feeling of rapid descent made it impossible to stay calm.
Arthur tried to kiss her lips again, but Gwen avoided him.
"Stop first!"
But Arthur didn't listen; he continued to kiss Gwen. Influenced by her heightened emotions, Gwen also became somewhat passionate, responding frantically.
Arthur suddenly used the Rabbit Talisman to negate the kinetic energy of both of them, then used the Snake Talisman to teleport back into the room. They landed on the bed with a thud.
Gwen pushed Arthur away: "You really are a bastard!"
"Wasn't it fun?" Arthur smiled. "Free skydiving, thrilling, right? You don't even need to open a parachute; you land directly on the bed!"
Arthur touched Gwen's cold thigh with his hand. Even after being swatted away by Gwen, he didn't give up.
"So you're really leaving Earth? How long will you be gone?" Gwen suddenly became a bit alert. "Then how should I contact you? Being out of touch for a long time doesn't make for a proper boyfriend."
"Just a few days, or maybe a dozen or so. I haven't decided yet. I just wanted to tell you first; I don't like sudden goodbyes." Arthur said, hugging Gwen. "Wait until I have a spaceship in the future, then I'll take you on a space tour. As for a way to contact me... I have something fun."
Arthur thought of the Sheep Talisman's ability: mental contact that ignored spatial distance.
Chapter 148 Rumored Girlfriend
Arthur stood in front of the only modern building in the manor, quietly watching the crimson figure running towards him.
Wanda ran at a moderate pace, a smile involuntarily gracing her face. She held a bouquet of spring peach blossoms, and as she ran, pink petals drifted into her brown hair, her crimson skirt fluttering.
She had originally intended to cut some fresh flowers to decorate the room and had gone to the garden, but just as she started, she heard Arthur calling her from afar.
Wanda stopped in front of Arthur, her smile fading as she looked into his eyes across the steps.
Wanda looked at Arthur's demon mask-covered face. She remembered the information she had found yesterday after typing "Arthur" into Google. Perhaps out of boredom, she had browsed through it item by item, so she remembered it very clearly.
Wanda felt that "Arthur" was the demon; the feeling matched, the style matched, the abilities matched, and even the timing of his appearances matched... She believed there was a 99% probability that "Arthur" was the demon. Of course, she had no evidence, and regarding the demon, she couldn't be 100% certain, as the very existence of a demon defied logic.
Now, looking at the demon, she involuntarily thought of Arthur's face. She had been staring at Arthur's photos yesterday... These two faces were slowly overlapping, becoming a more real person.
Even if she might have discovered the demon's true identity, Wanda couldn't be happy at all... Arthur was a Superhero who had suddenly become popular... Given his style, it was more fitting to call him an anti-hero. Because of Arthur's powerful strength and captivatingly wild style, he quickly amassed a group of fervent admirers. Of course, Arthur's past was also dug up by these fans—the life of a high school graduate named "Ricardo M. Luo".
Wanda carefully browsed through everything related to this high school graduate, even clicking on repetitive content. Parents died early, attended Midtown School of Science and Technology... Naturally, Wanda saw photos of Arthur posted by his high school alumni, most of which were group photos of him and a girl, and it was always the same girl.
Their behavior was intimate, and the captions from related netizens confirmed Wanda's guess: that girl was Arthur's girlfriend in school.
The school beauty, a top student, from a wealthy family, and their relationship had always been good... Actually, Wanda felt unusually calm when she saw all this. She flipped through their intimate photos one by one: Gwensitting on Arthur's lap in the classroom, Gwen and Arthurkissing deeply at a baseball game as if no one else was around, Arthur holding Gwen's hand and breaking through the dance to leave the Christmas dance... The last photo had the most likes. The vibrant Christmasdecorations exuded a festive atmosphere, while Arthur's dark-colored attire was striking yet stylish, especially the resolute look on his face, revealing indifference and authority. Fans commented: "Arthur in his student days already had the demeanor of an anti-hero..." Wandaremembered why, when she asked Arthur yesterday if he liked her, he had answered without hesitation.
He loved another girl; that was the real answer... "The flowers are in your hand, not on my face," Arthur said, looking down at Wanda.
Wanda raised the flower in her hand. This spring peach, which had been in full bloom, now had only a few pathetic petals left.
Arthur stepped down the stairs and took the spring peach blossom. The power of the Horse Talisman flowed, and the spring peach blossom bloomed again in Arthur's hand, incredibly vibrant.
Arthur placed the spring peach blossom on top of Wanda's head... Wanda's hair was loose, and it couldn't be held up if inserted, so he could only lay it flat, letting Wanda balance it.
"So ugly..."
Arthur shook his head. He took off the spring peach blossom again and teleported it away with a flick of his hand.
"I didn't say you were ugly, nor that the flower was ugly, but rather that the two of you together didn't quite fit my aesthetic... I've already put it in the vase in your room." Arthur put his arm around Wanda's slender waist. "Unhappy?"
Wanda shook her head and said, "I wanted to put it in the white porcelain vase in the living room, and you've never been to my room."
"Following your suggestion, I've already changed the location of the flower arrangement." Arthur snapped his fingers. "You didn't smile at me today, and I'm not very pleased."
Wanda tilted her head to look at Arthur, slowly breaking into a bright, radiant smile, like the spring peach blossom.
"Did you come to see me today for something?" Wandaasked.
"Do I always have to have a reason to come see you?" Arthur also smiled. "Can't I come see you for no reason?"
"Are you going to use the glowing blue Space Stoneagain?" Wanda brushed her hair aside and took off the faintly blue-glowing Space Stone from her neck.
Before this, the Space Stone had been tightly wrapped by Wanda, not emitting a single ray of light. Arthur had only seen two thin chains hanging down.
"Uh..." Arthur helplessly took the Space Stone. "This is just a detour; my main purpose is because of you."
"Mm..."
Wanda hugged Arthur tightly, burying her head in his chest, and let out a soft hum.
"Where are we going this time?" Wanda asked. "You shouldn't need it to easily reach every place on Earth."
"Girls who are too smart aren't very popular with men!" Arthur pinched Wanda's face. "Asgard. If all goes well..."
"Asgard? Thor and Loki's homeland?"
"You know about it too?"
"The Anti-Demon Alliance and the Battle of New Yorkwere both very popular, so of course I know." Wandasuddenly looked at Arthur and said, "Can I come with you?"
"Not this time, because I haven't been there yet. You can think of it as me needing to open a route from Earth to Asgard." Arthur said with a smile, "Next time for sure!"
Wanda nodded earnestly: "Next time for sure!"
Arthur shook his head; Wanda wouldn't understand his "next time for sure."
"Will you be lonely staying here by yourself?" Arthursuddenly asked out of nowhere. "What do you do when you're lonely? Do you miss me, want to contact me, send emails or something?"
Wanda nodded, then shook her head and said, "But I don't have your contact information, not even an email address."
Arthur used the Sheep Talisman's mind link on Wanda. He leaned down and kissed Wanda's cheek, saying, "Do you feel it? Now our minds are connected..."
...The Anti-Demon Alliance walked along the cobblestone path and arrived at the lawn.
Thor led the way, pulling Loki, who was wearing custom-made shackles. A metal custom muzzle covered Loki's mouth. If Loki were to suddenly cast a spell and use some strange magic, even Thor might find it troublesome, so precautions had to be taken when imprisoning Loki.
Hawkeye's gaze remained fixed on Loki. He was the only one in the team who wanted to see Loki cause trouble again, so he could legitimately kick Loki's butt! To avenge the hypnosis!
"You two are finally leaving," Tony said, pushing up his sunglasses. "When will you come back to Earth for sightseeing?"
"I think never, unless Earth encounters some danger again that your powers alone cannot solve." Thor shook his head. "But Jane is still on Earth, so I will instruct Heimdall to keep a constant watch on Earth."
"Please, don't describe yourself as if you're some key figure..." Tony shrugged. "It's proven that Earth keeps spinning no matter who's missing!"
"Yes, it keeps spinning no matter who's missing, but thankfully this time it's the demon who's missing," Thorsaid.
"Mjolnir... fragments," Captain America said, handing Thora silver briefcase. "Although it's sad, I think it should return to Asgard."
"This is indeed sad. It accompanied me through many battles, from the Nine Realms to Jotunheim... I never expected it to be destroyed on Earth," Thor said deeply as he took the silver briefcase.
"I'm very sorry, Mr. Thor..." Spider-Gwen said from the side, "I apologize for my boyfriend's actions..."
"No need to apologize, Miss Spider. I won't blame anyone for this, including Arthur. Didn't you all agree to let me take this war criminal back to Asgard?" Thor shook his head. "I only blame my own insufficient strength..."
"It's great that you think that way, generous Thunder God Thor!" Tony slapped Thor's shoulder hard. "But are you still Thor after losing this hammer? Oh... no offense, I'm just curious!"
"Who knows?" Thor questioned himself internally.
"I am Odin's son, Thunder God Thor! Not this hammer!" Thor looked up and said, "I can still command Asgardwithout Mjolnir."
"Hmm... Look at Loki, is he rolling his eyes at you?" Tonysuddenly said. "It seems His Highness doesn't quite approve of what you're saying."
"Still, think about your own troubles, Tony!" Thor looked up at the sky. "You still have a mission: to find AgentRomanoff, and Arthur... I'm sorry, Spider-Woman, I don't mean any harm, but Arthur might indeed become a problem for the Alliance now."
"No need to apologize, what you said makes a lot of sense." Gwen covered her face and said, "I've been thinking about these issues recently too."
"Goodbye, everyone!" Thor pulled Loki. "Heimdall has heard my call..."
"Goodbye!"
"Have a safe journey!"
"Bye Mr. Thor!"
Suddenly, a colorful beam of light descended from the sky, instantly enveloping Thor and Loki. The colorful light beam flowed, and their figures completely vanished.
"Bifrost Bridge? That's not scientific," Gwen said, crossing her arms.
"Damn Thor, he burned our lawn!" Tony said, pointing at the circular mark left on the ground after the Bifrost Bridgeportal disappeared.
The crowd walked towards the Base. As an alliance of Superheroes, they still had many things to do.
"Miss Spider, could I interview you for a moment? What's it like to have a dual identity?" Tony suddenly asked.
"Uh... it feels pretty good," Gwen replied. "I can be a Superhero I like, and also be a normal person, go out for entertainment and internships and such."
"No, no, no, I wasn't asking about that!" Tony handed his phone to Gwen. "Didn't you check your phone this morning? You're famous now!"
"Mr. Stark, when has Spider-Woman ever not been popular?" Gwen was a bit confused.
"I'm talking about Gwen Stacy, anti-hero Arthur's rumored girlfriend, who's become famous." Tony asked curiously, "On the surface, you're the righteous SuperheroSpider-Woman, but secretly you're anti-hero Arthur's girlfriend. What's that experience like?"
Chapter 149 Asgard
A colorful, circular beam of light shot into the sky, and the Bifrost Bridge descended from above, arriving in New York.
Arthur was standing on the rooftop of the Anti-Demon Alliance Base building, having activated the Snake Talisman's deep invisibility, ensuring that no one or any detection equipment could trace him.
Arthur quickly approached the Bifrost Bridge. The Bifrost Bridge's activation time was very short, often only a few seconds, so he had to seize the moment.
Arthur used the Pig Talisman to break through the Bifrost Bridge's barrier, then successfully entered it, allowing the powerful Space Stone to guide him upward towards Asgard.
Thor and Loki, who were moving above, heard the commotion and looked down. They saw shattered spatial fragments flying and falling, but there was no anomaly within the Bifrost Bridge.
Thor and Loki then retracted their gazes. They didn't think much of it; unstable space channels collapsing was common, let alone cracks or gaps appearing. Only the Space Stone could construct an absolutely stable spatial teleportation channel.
The deeply invisible Arthur followed closely behind the two as they ascended. He looked around, and through the colorful barrier of the Bifrost Bridge, he could see the vast Universe or dazzling star rivers. The scenery changed every second, indicating that they had traversed outer galaxies so immense they were immeasurable.
If he were to fall from the Bifrost Bridge, no one would know which galaxy's Planet he would land on, but Arthurwas fearless. He carried the Space Stone, so no matter where he landed, he could instantly teleport back to Earth.
A dazzling white light flickered ahead, indicating they were about to reach the Bifrost Bridge's end. Arthur could even see the main outline of Asgard.
Asgard is a small, Planet-like celestial body, but unlike typical Planets, it doesn't rotate on its axis or orbit a star. It's also not spherical but flat, with gravity similar to Earthon its top surface, surrounded by continuously flowing Water, and its crystal underside serving as its energy source.
The first stop for Arthur and the brothers Thor and Lokiwas the observatory. Heimdall, the Gatekeeper God, guardian of the Bifrost Bridge with his golden armor and sword, was stationed there.
From the observatory, Heimdall could monitor all Nine Realms and some other Planets outside the Nine Realms. He could also control the Bifrost Bridge to teleport people to other Planets, and even use it to destroy a Planet.
The Snake Talisman's deep invisibility was extremely powerful; even Heimdall, who could perceive the Universe, did not detect Arthur following behind Thor and Loki.
"Welcome back, Thor… and Your Highness Loki." Heimdallstood on the high platform, hands gripping his sword hilt, bowing slightly.
"He is no longer Your Highness, Heimdall," Thor said, walking forward, pulling Loki by his shackles. "Where is my Father?"
"The King awaits you in the Royal Palace." Suddenly, Heimdall's expression changed as he looked at the box Thor was carrying.
His eyes could see through star systems, and naturally, he could see through the metal casing to the Mjolnir, full of cracks, inside the box.
"Don't be surprised, my friend. It's merely broken. I can still conquer the Nine Realms without this hammer."
Thor said, stepping onto the Bifrost Bridge. Loki was still staring blankly at the familiar Asgard; after falling into the cosmic abyss from the Bifrost Bridge, he had been away from Asgard for a long time. Seeing these familiar sights again after so long inevitably brought a touch of emotion, but before he could fully feel it, Thor yanked him, almost dragging him, along the Bifrost Bridge.
Arthur flew silently through the air. This was also his first time setting foot on an alien civilization. Asgard's history and culture were brilliant, and just from the varied shapes of its buildings, one could get a glimpse of its splendor.
Thor and Loki, who had grown up in Asgard, became his best guides. Arthur followed the two as they flew out of the observatory and crossed the Bifrost Bridge.
Asgard's technology was advanced, with many outer defensive fortifications. Anti-aircraft laser cannons towered on both sides of the Bifrost Bridge. Passing through the various plazas, one could see strong Asgardian training and fighting. They commonly used high-tech cold weapons, with astonishing blue light flickering from their sword blades and spear tips.
The outer areas were where ordinary citizens lived; the buildings were varied and not uniformly planned, yet they did not feel chaotic.
Arthur watched Thor's figure, then suddenly accelerated to the side. Arthur overlooked the buildings from the air, passing through the magnificent Coronation Hall, where Asgard had once held Thor's coronation ceremony—a solemn occasion.
Arthur then flew over the city-state to the distant suburbs, past dense forests, around towering snow-capped mountains, and over flowing lakes, circling Asgard once before re-entering the city-state. He passed through open-air theaters, then returned to the central thoroughfare to catch up with Thor, arriving before the majestic Royal Palace.
The Royal Palace stood at the very center of the Asgardiancity-state. If Asgard were to be invaded, Odin would activate a massive energy shield to envelop the entire Royal Palace, defending against enemy attacks and providing refuge for all citizens.
Two teams of guards in golden armor emerged from two side doors on the Royal Palace's front. They met Thor and Loki. Two guards removed Loki's mouth and hand shackles, replacing them with Asgardian shackles and leg irons.
The guards allowed Thor to enter first, while they escorted Loki to wait outside the hall for Odin's summons.
Thor walked up the steps, carrying a silver briefcase, with Arthur silently following close behind.
Upon entering the Royal Palace, Arthur wondered if Odinwould detect his unexpected presence.
After all, Odin wielded the powerful Odinforce, and as the nominal supreme ruler and defender of the Nine Realms, his strength was unquestionable.
But from the moment Arthur flew into the massive palace until Thor walked to the foot of the throne, Odin showed no signs of abnormality. It seemed he either couldn't penetrate the Snake Talisman's deep invisibility, or perhaps the power of the Talismans was far greater than the Odinforce.
Odin sat on the high throne, with a full head of White hair, one eye, wearing golden armor, and a red cape of the same taste as Thor's behind him. The only striking thing was the Eternal Spear he held in his hand.
Odin's Eternal Spear, gungnir, the Mjolnir once held by Hela, and Thor's later Stormbreaker axe were all ultimate divine artifacts forged by the Dwarf King of Svartalfheim using Uru metal. Each artifact maximized both power and grandeur.
Arthur also wondered if he should acquire a divine artifact himself. Although the Twelve Talismans offered comprehensive abilities, they couldn't boost his gear score like divine artifacts… Queen Frigga was on the side of the grand hall. Thor had just exchanged a few words with her when Odin on the throne lightly coughed, interrupting the conversation between Mother and son.
"I thought you would remain on that Planet," Odin's voice came from above, calm yet full of majesty.
"I wanted to stay on Earth. I made friends with like-minded people there, and life wasn't boring," Thor said, looking up. "But I had to bring Loki back. Asgard still has my unfinished mission…"
"Thor, you have grown," Odin said, and Frigga beside him also smiled.
"Of course, I didn't go to Earth for a vacation!" Thor said with a confident smile.
"You do have another mission," Odin's gaze fell on Thor. "Because of the Bifrost Bridge's breakage, the Raiders in the Nine Realms took advantage to stir up war. Although the Bifrost Bridge has been rebuilt, the war has not yet subsided."
"Then when do we strike? Which star system do we start from?" As Asgard's bravest warrior, Thor never feared war.
"Not 'we,' but 'you,'" Odin said, shaking his head. "I will not personally lead this war, or rather, from now on, you will be responsible for maintaining peace in the Nine Realms."
Thor instantly understood. This war was both Odin's tempering of him and a way to build momentum for his successful ascension to the throne as Lord of the Nine Realms.
Suddenly, Thor placed the briefcase on the ground and opened it, revealing the Mjolnir, broken and then re-glued.
Odin stared at the Mjolnir with a poker face. He had cast a spell on Mjolnir and could naturally feel its breakage, while Frigga, seeing this, was full of surprise.
"I apologize, Father… Because of my insufficient strength, Mjolnir was damaged by another," Thor said with some guilt.
Odin said, "No need to apologize. From the moment you lifted it, it already belonged to you."
"Is there any way to repair Mjolnir?" Thor asked eagerly. Ever since he lost Mjolnir, his strength had significantly decreased, which made him feel very insecure, let alone the war he was about to face.
Odin shook his head. He didn't explicitly say, but calmly stated, "Just as you said, you are Thor, Son of Odin. Without that hammer, you are still Thor."
Thor wanted to say more, but Odin waved him away.
"Bring Loki in to see me!"
Thor reluctantly stepped aside, standing by Frigga's side.
The palace doors opened again, and guards in golden armor escorted Loki into the palace. Loki walked slowly, his metal leg irons clanking on the floor.
The last time he entered this palace, Thor was banished to Earth, Odin fell into a slumber, and Frigga bestowed upon him the Eternal Spear. At that time, he was the King of Asgard, albeit temporarily… But now, times had changed. Returning to his old home, he was shackled, a prisoner, escorted as a criminal before Odin's throne.
"Loki!" Frigga cried out, and Thor quickly steadied his distraught Mother.
Ever since Loki fell into the cosmic abyss, the deeply missing Frigga had used magic to detect that Loki was still alive and conspiring with a group of unknown individuals. At that time, Loki, who controlled the Mind Stone, sensed Frigga's probing, but he refused to communicate with Frigga.
"Long time no see, Mother!" Loki's smile held a rare touch of warmth. "Are you proud of me?"
Frigga shook her head and said, "Please don't add fuel to the Fire…"
Loki smiled and said, "What do you mean by that?"
"Enough!" Odin on the throne slammed the Eternal Spearheavily on the floor. "I wish to speak with the prisoner alone."
Frigga looked at Loki, clad in shackles, and still, with Thor's support, left the great hall.
Arthur leaned against a giant pillar in the palace, calmly observing this scene of Asgardian royal family strife, as if looking down from above.
Loki smiled and looked up at Odin. Now, he had nothing left to lose but his life, so he was unrestrained.
"Have you never felt remorse, Loki!" Odin said loudly. "Do you not know the depths of your sins? Wherever you are, there is war, destruction, and death!"
"That was just Earth. As a benevolent god, I wanted to bring them true freedom and peace. What's wrong with that?" Loki said, unable to suppress a chuckle. "You rule the Nine Realms; I am merely learning from your methods."
"We are not gods," Odin said calmly. "We are no nobler than humans, and we too experience birth, old age, sickness, and death. All of this stems from your pursuit of the throne…"
"You once said I was born to be King too!" Loki suddenly roared.
Odin, however, was incredibly calm. He said faintly, "Your destiny should have been to perish with the Frost Giants, to die on cold stone… If I hadn't adopted you, you wouldn't hate me like this now."
"Then, merciful Father, grant me death!" Loki struggled, the clanging of chains resounding.
"If it weren't for Frigga and Thor pleading for you, you should have been executed in front of the Earthlings, to appease their hatred and sorrow." Odin raised the Eternal Spear in his hand and pointed it at Loki. "I want you to stay in the dungeon for the rest of your life, never to see the light of day!"
"What about Thor?" Loki broke free from the guards' restraint. "I become a prisoner forever, while that foolish fellow ascends the throne? Asgard will fall into ruin in his hands!"
"Even if it falls, that is Asgard's destiny, unrelated to Thor," Odin looked at Loki. "He will first deal with the mess you created, and after resolving the troubles of the Nine Realms… As you said, he will become King!"
The golden guards escorted Loki out of the palace. Lokistruggled the entire way, seemingly still unwilling.
Arthur, in a corner of the palace, stretched. This clichéd royal dispute drama was finally over. He walked through the massive palace, admiring the carved beams and painted rafters, then his gaze fell on a mural nearby.
Odin on the throne had a somewhat somber expression. He looked up at the ceiling of the palace.
Asgard's best artisans had inscribed history beneath the dome. The central mural depicted a prosperous and peaceful Asgard, while the surrounding illustrations showed Odin signing peace treaties, or festive entertainment at garden parties… Odin's gaze lingered on the curved illustration, where the four royals—Odin, Frigga, Thor, and Loki—were depicted in joyous harmony.
After a long silence, Odin descended from his throne. He leaned on the Eternal Spear, leaving the palace step by step, his back full of the ravages of time, like an old man leaning on a walking stick…
Marvel: The Twelve Spells
Change Arthur to Arthur
Chapter 150 Battle Under the Dome
After Odin left, Arthur came to the foot of the throne... the very spot where Thor and Loki had just stood.
Arthur had no interest in Asgard's throne; if he wished, he could conquer over two hundred countries and regions on Earth within days, ascending the throne witnessed by all humanity.
He could even venture into the depths of the Universe, for instance, Titan, where Thanos was born, could not stop him...
Arthur glanced at Odin's retreating figure, then he too looked up, gazing at the frescoes just as Odin had.
His gaze lingered on the whitewashed historical scenes, but in his mind, he recalled Asgard's true history...
A bundle of Fire suddenly rose from Arthur's hand, the flames split in the air, like scattering fireworks, and exploded instantly upon adhering to the frescoes beneath the dome.
Cracks instantly covered the frescoes, and the next moment, large chunks of the frescoes fell off; Arthur stood still in his original spot, and the falling debris automatically avoided him, smashing onto the ground.
Only then was Arthur satisfied; he stood amidst the ruins, his gaze piercing through the flying dust, and he saw the true history of Asgard.
Odin held high the Eternal Spear gungnir, and beside him was a green figure, Odin's eldest daughter—the Goddess of Death Hela.
Hela stood shoulder to shoulder with Odin, she also held up Mjolnir; at this time, the cosmic artifact Mjolnir in Hela's hand did not yet bear the name Mjolnir...
Behind them, an iron-like army exuded majesty.
The peripheral illustrations also revealed themselves: Hela, as the vanguard, rode the demon wolf Fenrir, while Odin, riding the eight-legged steed Sleipnir, lagged one step behind; behind them was a battlefield strewn with corpses.
Asgard's current prosperity and tranquility were once watered with blood.
In the true history, Hela helped Odin conquer the Nine Realms; she was once Asgard's executioner, the Master of Mjolnir...
Arthur knew this period of history.
After conquering the Nine Realms, Odin desired to rule with benevolence, but Hela's ambition and warlike nature led to a parting of ways between father and daughter.
Later, the internal conflict between the father and daughter spread throughout Asgard; Odin dispatched the Valkyriearmy to subdue Hela, but they were almost completely annihilated by Hela.
Hela ultimately could not defeat the God King Odin; after being stripped of her divine power, she was exiled...
Therefore, there was a reason for the sibling strife between Thor and Loki; their sister and Odin had a similar 'father-daughter' dynamic, and the Asgardian royal family was inherently plagued by continuous disputes.
"Who are you?"
Although Arthur created very little disturbance, Odin's perception was extremely keen, especially for events happening within the Heavenly Palace.
Odin, who had returned, looked at the mysterious back figure gazing at the frescoes inside the Heavenly Palace, and he silently gripped the Eternal Spear.
The mysterious person before him not only infiltrated Asgard silently but also bypassed his Odinforce to enter the Heavenly Palace, and was now even viewing the sealed secret history...
Even Odin, as the God King, showed no slackness; he looked at the mysterious person's attire, and based on the distinctive clothing, he judged that the person before him came from Earth.
Arthur slowly turned around, facing Odin with a smile: "I saw the true history of Asgard."
"That is not an unspeakable taboo," Odin said indifferently.
Odin looked at the demon mask on Arthur's face; for many reasons, he often paid attention to Earth, and naturally knew about demon, Earth's number one villain.
It seemed demon had entered Asgard on Thor's heels; since the Bifrost Bridge was repaired, it had been opened only a handful of times.
"Demon?" Odin frowned, the Eternal Spear already off the ground and aimed at Arthur, "Asgard does not welcome you; leave here immediately, and I will pardon you for the crime of damaging the Heavenly Palace."
"Earth doesn't welcome Asgardians either; haven't you sent tourists over several times?" Arthur said with a smile.
Odin's expression was somewhat displeased, but he had not yet actively launched an attack to expel Arthur; he also wanted to know more about demon, such as demon's origin or purpose...
"I have a question, where is she now? Norway?" Arthurlooked up at the frescoes again, "The Goddess of DeathHela... Perhaps you don't know, but I am currently building my own forces, and I desperately need subordinates like Hela, who possess both strength and ambition."
"You cannot subdue Hela; her ambition is like a wolf's, and you will only be torn to shreds by her."
Odin was somewhat surprised; the secret of him imprisoning Hela on Earth should have been unknown to anyone, so how did demon find out?
"I'm not as petty as you, nor do I fear her growing power, because I can always suppress her." Arthur winked at Odin, "You know, no woman can't be conquered, unless you're her father..."
"Boom!"
The tip of the Eternal Spear fired a powerful energy projectile, but it was shattered by the flames Arthurcasually threw, and the two energies erupted in a startling explosion.
Odin's face was already frosty: "Last warning, leave Asgard!"
"You haven't answered my question yet; are all Asgardians so impolite?" Arthur shook his head.
The Eternal Spear thrust forward fiercely, its cold gleam sharp; although Odin was old, his strength remained, as evidenced by his ability to easily strip Thor of his divine power.
Arthur casually grabbed the thrusting spear tip; the fully leveled Ox Talisman gave him the ability to ignore all physical attacks, meaning even a cosmic artifact could not break through his physical defense.
Odin found that after the spear tip was caught in demon's hand, no matter how hard he tried, it wouldn't budge; he was still astonished by demon's strength when a high-temperature energy beam shot directly at him.
Odin quickly defended, but the powerful energy impact on his chest still easily sent him flying.
Odin propped himself up with the Eternal Spear, staring intently at Arthur, his fighting spirit soaring; this king, long absent from the battlefield, found a familiar sensation once more.
"Is this the power of the ruler of the Nine Realms?" Arthurspread his palm, a faint White mark in its center, "Odin, you are old."
"All life will age; there is nothing immortal in the Universe."
Odin raised the Eternal Spear; he was whispering to the Eternal Spear, and strings of obscure and ancient spells were cast upon the spear shaft.
The Eternal Spear, forged from Uru, a metal unique to the Heavenly Palace, was almost indestructible; when imbued with magic by Odin, it would become an infallible divine spear, capable of piercing most things, and would automatically return to its wielder's hand after being thrown.
Arthur smiled, unconcerned; he also raised a powerful energy shield, for even with the Horse Talisman to heal himself, he did not wish to be injured.
The old man before him had resolute eyes; he threw the Eternal Spear!
The Eternal Spear's flight speed was not fast, nor was its momentum astonishing, yet it possessed an unstoppable impetus.
It easily broke through the energy shield supported by the Dragon Talisman; the collapsing energy created ripples, and Arthur's method of use, which had been invincible on Earth, shattered like fragile glass for the first time.
Slightly surprised, Arthur raised his shield again, but it was still pierced by the Eternal Spear, the spear tip aiming for his chest!
Arthur immediately activated the Snake Talisman's "unselectable" ability to evade the incoming attack.
He didn't want to endure this magic attack with his bare body; even with the Horse Talisman, the pain of being pierced through the chest would be somewhat annoying.
Thus, an astonishing scene unfolded: the Eternal Spearactually passed through Arthur's body, shattering a massive pillar, as if Arthur's body were ethereal...
Even Odin, who could remain calm upon seeing demon, couldn't help but be horrified; he had fought constantly throughout his life, but this was the first time he had encountered such a situation...
The myth of the Eternal Spear's one hundred percent hit rate was shattered!
This could only mean one thing: demon possessed a power of rules that surpassed his own!
The Eternal Spear began to return, but Arthur controlled it with the Rooster Talisman to fly towards him.
Arthur grasped the Eternal Spear, he looked back at the mess on the ground and said, "This is your own destruction, don't try to frame me, old man!"
Suddenly, the Eternal Spear in Arthur's hand shook violently, the vibration causing a light rumble in the air; Arthur abruptly plunged the spear shaft into the ground, and under his immense force control, all vibrations immediately ceased.
Odin's face was already filled with disbelief; he shook his head and said, "Who exactly are you?"
"Demon!"
Suddenly, a furious roar came from the Heavenly Palaceentrance, and Thor ran over, accelerating!
He was somewhat surprised by the battle fluctuations coming from the Heavenly Palace, and upon seeing that familiar back figure, his anger instantly surged.
In fact, demon had left many Shadows on Thor, as every time he fought demon, it ended in failure and left him with considerable injuries...
More importantly, every time Thor met demon, he could feel that demon was even stronger than the last time, which gave Thor the illusion that demon was invincible.
But when Thor saw demon appear in his homeland, Asgard, and holding Odin's Eternal Spear, he instantly rushed forward without fear, even though he had now even lost Mjolnir...
"Thor!" Odin shouted.
Arthur met Thor, he gripped the Eternal Spear, spun around, and swept it violently horizontally; the unarmed Thor was instantly sent flying.
Thor broke through several massive pillars before he finally stopped, crashing through the Heavenly Palace wall and flying out of sight...
"Cough cough... This is also your son's doing, it's rude to interrupt people!" Arthur slung the Eternal Spear over his shoulder, one hand adjusting his collar.
Guards in golden armor rushed in from the doorway, led by their formidable generals.
"Sorry for introducing myself so close to my exit," Arthursaid with a smile, bowing slightly: "Demon, from New York!"
Arthur watched as everyone took a step back, and instantly his figure vanished within the Heavenly Palace.
The surrounding guards looked at each other, and Odin, beneath the throne, had a frosty expression.
On the observatory outside the Bifrost Bridge, Heimdalltook out the Gjallarhorn and blew it, warning all Asgardians of an enemy invasion.
Suddenly, Heimdall drew the metal greatsword Hofund from his waist and slashed at an empty space; the next moment, Arthur appeared there, Heimdall's greatsword struck the Eternal Spear, sending sparks flying, and Arthur opened his eyes, firing two laser beams that pierced his chest.
The severely wounded Heimdall instantly lost his ability to move and collapsed to the ground; Arthur walked onto the high platform of the observatory, grabbing the Bifrost Sword Skurge, which was stuck in the ground, with both hands.
There were only two keys to activate the Bifrost Bridge: the Bifrost Sword Skurge and the Eternal Spear gungnir; if he took these two artifacts, all Asgardians would become trapped beasts in a cage...
Just as Arthur was about to pull out the Bifrost Sword, Thor came running across the Bifrost Bridge, enveloped in thunder, his might awe-inspiring!
Arthur shook his head, "Annoying!"
Thor attacked fiercely, Arthur said indifferently: "Turn into a stinky dog!"
Instantly, White light flashed, Thunder God Thordisappeared, and only a muscular mongrel remained in the observatory; Thor, now a dog, still tried to bite Arthur's leg, but Arthur kicked him away.
Arthur easily pulled out the Bifrost Sword Skurge; at this moment, Odin arrived at the Bifrost Bridge with his soldiers.
"Asgardians, next time I come, remember to kneel and welcome my arrival!"
A flash of blue light, and Arthur's figure disappeared into the Bifrost Bridge.
Odin was somewhat surprised, "Space Stone..."
