Chapter 312. Killing the Kryptonian Warrior Faora; ZodAppears! (Please Subscribe!)
"Da da da!"
I don't know if this machine gun spits blue fire, but its power is certainly impressive.
On the street, the concrete pavement was shattered, and the resulting dust cloud was over two people tall.
The machine gun continuously swept the area, and the bullets bombarded the Kryptonian Warrior, sending him flying.
The opponent was currently still adapting to the environment and couldn't focus on counterattacking at all.
As soon as his body fell, he was blasted away again.
However, no matter how powerful the bullets were, they couldn't penetrate his body's defenses.
It was like tickling him.
The output looked fierce like a tiger, but the results were useless.
"thunder 12, do you read? thunder 12!"
"Reading you, this is thunder 12!"
"Fire the missile! Don't worry about casualties; bullets are ineffective against them!"
"This..."
"This is an order from high command!"
"Yes, Officer!"
thunder 12 flew in the air, aimed at the Kryptonian hunk who had fallen to the ground, locked onto him, and then fired a missile.
"Swoosh!"
The missile suddenly flew out.
The Kryptonian Warrior, kneeling in pain while adapting to the Earth environment, quickly knelt down, listening to the even louder sound approaching from afar.
He quickly raised his hand towards the front, trying to block it.
"Boom—!"
The sound of an explosion rose, and flames erupted.
From amidst the raging flames, this Kryptonian Warriorwalked out and looked up at the sky.
By this time, he had successfully adapted to the environment and air of Earth.
He was even able to properly control the constant amplification of sound.
After all, they were well-trained Kryptonian Warriors, born to exist for war.
Adapting to different environments was also a skill they were supposed to master.
"Bang!"
"Swoosh!"
The Kryptonian Warrior stomped the ground fiercely with both feet, and his entire body instantly flew out.
He punched the fighter jet directly. He rushed up like a missile, and his unparalleled power directly pierced the fighter jet's shell.
Then, he penetrated the fuselage.
The Kryptonian Warrior's body passed through the aircraft and shot into the sky.
Behind him, the fighter jet instantly exploded in mid-air. The thunder 12 pilot didn't even have time to jump out of the cockpit before the fighter jet detonated.
A ball of fire erupted in the air.
In the small town, people hiding in their homes and watching this scene were utterly terrified.
"Boom!"
The Kryptonian Warrior landed on the street. He glanced back at the humans hiding in the buildings and secretly watching him.
Grabbing the nearby fighter jet wreckage—a large piece of metal debris—he was about to throw it at the civilians inside the buildings.
The next instant.
A helicopter quickly flew over.
"Da da da!"
The mounted machine gun continuously rotated and fired, its rate of fire swift and its power formidable.
The Kryptonian Warrior roared, throwing the large metal fragment in his hand directly upwards.
"Clatter!"
The cockpit glass was violently shattered, and the pilot screamed miserably.
The metal fragment embedded itself in the helicopter, and the helicopter plummeted away into the distance.
"Humans are nothing more than this!"
He said with a cold, contemptuous laugh.
The next instant.
The Kryptonian Warrior's sensitive hearing picked up the sound of something flying through the air.
He quickly dodged sideways.
It turned out to be just a tattered metal helmet, hurled at high speed, boosted by immense force.
It flew past him.
The next instant.
Another whistling sound approached.
Faora, covered in blood and utterly battered, flew over and slammed directly into this Kryptonian Warrior.
Faora crashed into the other Kryptonian, and they quickly flew away into the distance.
The two of them smashed through many buildings, flying backward all the way until they reached the outskirts of the small town.
"You..."
The Kryptonian Warrior stood up, looking at Faora beside him with a shocked expression. He wanted to blame her, but seeing her miserable state, he couldn't bring himself to do so.
Faora had multiple fractures throughout her body.
Her body was ridiculously contorted, like a broken marionette lying on the ground, limbs twisted and bent, having lost control.
Faora's face was so beaten that her original appearance was unrecognizable.
Her entire face was swollen like a pig's head, desperately needing a "Return My Beauty Punch" treatment.
The swollen and somewhat twisted area that seemed to be her mouth.
Moved crookedly twice.
It seemed like she wanted to say something to him, but no sound came out.
The next instant.
A figure wearing nano armor instantly appeared beside the Kryptonian Warrior.
The Kryptonian Warrior didn't need her reminder now.
The opponent had already rushed right in front of him..."Hmph!"
He raised his fist and smashed it towards Eustass.
The next instant.
Eustass punched the Kryptonian Warrior squarely in the face.
The Kryptonian Warrior spat out a mouthful of blood, his bones cracking.
Eustass's other punch struck the Kryptonian Warrior's fist directly. The two fists collided, and a crisp cracking sound followed.
The Kryptonian Warrior's fist was instantly broken by the punch.
Then, Eustass's fists moved like afterimages, continuously and rapidly bombarding the Kryptonian Warrior.
His twin fists were like shadows, so fast it seemed as if hundreds of punches were thrown simultaneously.
He really wanted to shout, Pegasus Meteor Fist!
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The Kryptonian Warrior's battle suit was instantly shattered. Eustass's punches came one after another, breaking every bone in his body.
Eustass sent the opponent flying, and then he instantly used Soru, moving at high speed, appearing behind the opponent as if teleporting.
He kicked the opponent in the body.
The Kryptonian Warrior was kicked in the jaw, spitting out a mouthful of blood with a puff, and numerous teeth flew out.
His entire body was thrown backward.
The next instant, Eustass instantly reappeared behind the opponent, bringing his foot down and stepping on the opponent's abdomen.
The Kryptonian Warrior's body caved in from Eustass's kick, and the spine on his back snapped.
"Boom!"
The Kryptonian Warrior, who had become like a shadow, suddenly crashed down, slamming into the ground.
A large number of bones throughout his body were broken, and he lay weakly on the ground.
He gave his comrade Faora a resentful look.
The enemy was so powerful, yet she hadn't warned him beforehand.
Damn it... truly damn it... both of them were going to die.
Eustass landed abruptly on the ground, looking at the two useless beings.
"I... *gurgle*... I hate this."
The Kryptonian Warrior spoke resentfully while spitting up blood from his throat.
Eustass sat down next to the two of them, looking at the two incapacitated weaklings.
Then he looked up at the sky, waiting for General Zod's arrival at any moment.
"Hello, Mr. Mora."
Just then.
A large number of black sedans drove up.
A Head Agent, dressed in a suit, quickly ran over and saluted respectfully, "The battle is over. May we take them away?"
Eustass glanced at them.
They clearly wanted to use the Kryptonians for experiments.
Eustass smiled.
The Head Agent thought he had a chance.
"Get lost!"
Eustass cursed.
The Head Agent quickly and tactfully led his people away, scurrying off.
He was puzzled in his heart: if he wasn't going to give them up, why did he smile at them?
In the sky above.
Another spacecraft broke through the atmosphere and headed toward this location.
Eustass was happy, of course, because more rewards were coming his way.
He glanced at Faora and the unknown Kryptonian Warrior beside her.
The White Thread in his hand coiled into a sword, the White Sword wrapped in Armament Haki, and he slashed down at them.

[Reward obtained: Demon Slayer World charge point 2 points!]
[The host defeated a Kryptonian Warrior!]
[Reward obtained: Demon Slayer World charge point 1 point!]
[Demon Slayer World charge point: 13/30!]
The White Thread on Eustass's hand disappeared.
Looking at the virtual screen of the Spectator System, Eustass pondered, realizing that the points awarded by these characters were indeed not very many.
At the same time.
Above the sky, a small black spaceship rapidly descended.
Its overall appearance was exactly the same as the spaceship Faora and the others had ridden.
Eustass looked up at the sky, preparing to make a move against General Zod... Above the sky.
General Zod stood inside the spaceship, which scanned the area below, revealing that Faora and another Kryptonian Warrior had all been killed.
General Zod exchanged glances with the other Kryptonian Warriors. Prudently, he chose to leave one person to restrain Eustass while the others went to find Clark.
They came to Earth to transform it into the form they desired.
They wanted to transform Earth into Krypton, a young Krypton.
Having encountered a formidable enemy who easily slaughtered two Kryptonian Warriors, although General Zod was extremely furious, he had to suppress his anger and proceed with the more important matters.
General Zod would not allow any accidents when it came to the Great Revival of their race.
A Kryptonian Warrior came to the spaceship hatch. As the altitude continuously decreased, when they were still over a thousand meters above the ground, he instantly jumped down, charging toward Eustass.
General Zod piloted the spaceship, quickly flying toward the edge of the sky.
"Go die, you wretched human!"
The Kryptonian Warrior roared, descending rapidly, and smashed a punch toward Eustass.
Eustass stared at him with a hostile expression. The next instant, Eustass leaped up, Armament Haki wrapping around the exterior of the unmanned nano armor.
He struck a punch against the Kryptonian Warrior's fist.
With a crisp cracking sound, he directly broke the opponent's arm.
Continuous crunching sounds followed as Eustasshammered and broke every bone in the opponent's body, then delivered a kick to the Kryptonian Warrior.
The opponent's figure turned into a black streak, flying backward and slamming into the ground of the small town at extreme speed, creating a large crater.
Eustass was just about to use his nano armor/fighter jetto chase General Zod, when the next second, the Kryptonian Warrior endured his severe injuries, leaped high into the air, and swung his remaining fist toward Eustass.
Eustass snorted coldly. The nano armor sprayed fire and rotated in mid-air. Eustass swung a punch, his fist wrapped in Armament Haki, striking directly.
"Pfft!"
One punch directly pierced through the opponent's body.
Eustass casually threw the opponent away.
His Nano Legion would handle the aftermath here; he was preparing to chase General Zod.
But the spaceship flew too fast. Before long, the enemy vanished from the range of his Observation Haki.
Eustass instructed the Mora Group's global satellites to search for General Zod's whereabouts.
He, wearing the nano armor, slowly landed on the ground.
The nano armor, currently, was merely a tool he used for traveling.
And also used to confuse potential enemies.
To trick them into thinking that Eustass was only strong because he used the armor.
Then, to give them hope, so at least the BOSSes would come fight him and not be scared away.
After a long while, Eustass's phone rang.
"This is bad!"
"Clark?"
"Yes, it's me. There is something I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
Eustass looked at his phone, puzzled.
"General Zod couldn't find me. Out of desperation, he skipped the plan to search for the Central Codex directly, splitting the spaceship into two vessels: one heading to the South Pole and one heading to Metropolis.
They plan to use the spaceship's special function to terraform Earth's environment!"
Superman said.
"I'm heading to Metropolis right now. Leave it to me!"
After Eustass finished speaking, he wore the nano armor, shot into the sky, and flew toward Metropolis at high speed.
"Hurry, or else they will destroy human civilization on Earth!"
Clark hurriedly shouted.
"Got it!"
Eustass replied, flying quickly in his nano armor.
"Then I'll go to the South Pole!"
After Superman finished speaking, he immediately ended the call and departed.
Eustass was speechless.
Don't! Leave the Kryptonian enemies heading to the South Pole for him too! He also has means of rapid travel.
But on second thought, it made sense. After all, this matter concerned the life and death of Earthlings.
It was better to be safe.
Eustass pondered internally.
As long as he fought fast enough, he might still have a chance to steal a wave of monsters later.
The next instant, the nano armor utilized massive amounts of energy in its thrusters, accelerating toward Metropolis... Metropolis.
On the sea.
Aboard a cruise ship.
Tourists were drinking and chatting. Just then, a Kryptonian spaceship quickly flew in from the sky, heading toward the city overhead.
"Look quickly, what is that?"
A child quickly shouted.
The other tourists looked over, and cries of alarm arose.
"It's an alien spaceship, oh my god!"
"The alien spaceship is invading Earth, run!"
"Is it the end of the World? Is it the end of the World?"
The people continued to cry out in alarm. Even the Captain piloting the ship was terrified, thinking that the Military and the aliens would soon have an Earth-shattering battle.
To avoid being affected, the Captain quickly turned the ship around, sailing away with the tourists.
There was no great battle between the army and the alien spaceship. Many people had overthought it; Earth's fighter jets were fragile and vulnerable before the Kryptonian spaceship.
The Kryptonian spaceship slowly descended above Metropolis. People driving home from work on the streets, and workers busy working overtime in the skyscrapers.
All looked up.
Some were terrified, others were curious about the excitement.
But very few people actually ran away.
The other side of Earth.
Another separated spaceship flew in quickly.
The spaceship landed suddenly, its hull plunging into the Earth.
As General Zod issued the command from the spaceshipover Metropolis to engage the Phantom Drive in combat mode, this spaceship transformed into an environmental terraforming device and began operating.
The spaceships on both sides operated simultaneously, beginning the transformation of Earth.
Terrifying beams of energy fell onto the ground, continuously increasing gravity.
Metropolis.
"Buzz buzz buzz... boom!"
"Buzz buzz buzz... boom!"
"Buzz buzz buzz... boom!"
In the area closest to the spaceship, large vehicles floated weightlessly, then gravity suddenly increased, causing the vehicles to instantly plummet and crash violently onto the ground.
The ground cracked.
The nearby buildings also began to be destroyed and could collapse at any moment.
"Ahhh!"
The people who had been standing nearby, originally attracted by curiosity, now realized the danger, scattering in terror and screaming in panic.
Chapter 314. 313. Destroy Zod Plan! Come at Me If You Dare! (Please Subscribe!)
"Buzz buzz buzz... Boom!"
Before long, several buildings closest to the gravity field instantly collapsed.
The two spacecraft, located at opposite poles of the Earth, could generate and adjust gravity, operating in synchronization.
In this way, they could increase Earth's mass and shroud the atmosphere with particles. General Zod, the Kryptonian, wanted to change Earth, transforming it into an environment suitable for Kryptonian survival.
If this happened, the drastic environmental change would grant them victory without a fight.
Humans would all perish under the massive environmental shift.
The air would change drastically, and the gravity would shift significantly.
Under these various factors, once Earth was transformed into New Krypton, it would no longer be suitable for Earthlings to live on.
General Zod indeed failed to find the Central Codex, but this did not prevent him from eliminating his enemies first.
Eliminate the enemies first, reducing the risk.
After that, it would not be too late for them to take time to deal with Superman Kal-El.
Metropolis.
Overhead.
Several fighter jets rapidly approached, preparing to launch missiles at the distant spacecraft under the command of their superiors.
"I advise you not to do that."
Just then.
A male voice sounded in the Commander's headset.
"Who are you?"
"You don't need to worry about who I am. All you need to do is quickly evacuate the public and recall the flight formation."
Eustass said this while rushing toward Metropolis.
"Why should we listen to you?"
The Commander felt suspicious.
"That thing has a gravity field. Your attack won't hit the spacecraft; it will only cause collateral damage."
Eustass replied.
The Commander pressed his hand to his headset, remaining silent for a long time.
Gravity... Damn it!
Then they truly had no way to deal with it!
The Commander quickly ordered the flight formation to retreat, and incidentally had one fighter jet launch a decoy flare toward the spacecraft.
The decoy flare, emitting a flash of fire, flew rapidly toward the spacecraft, but before it could get close, the gravity field crushed it, causing it to plummet downward.
The Commander's expression turned grim.
This is too powerful!
Their conventional methods were completely useless against the enemy!
The only option now is to... try a nuclear-tipped missile.
At the same time.
A certain Air Force secret Base.
"What? There's a gravity field near that spacecraft?"
The General's expression was startled.
Then he looked aside.
"Where is Mr. President now?"
"He's on his way."
The General nodded. He had an idea he wanted to try.
If it still didn't work, then they could only wait to be saved.
And this method... actually felt like imitating the MarvelBattle of New York.
If Eustass knew, he would certainly exclaim in admiration.
As expected of you.
America.
Metropolis.
"Buzz buzz buzz... RUMBLE!"
Gravity intensified, the ground cracked, dust flew up, and a building, unable to bear the weight, was completely crushed and fell sideways.
People looked up at the hundred-story building suddenly crashing toward them, terrified out of their wits, turning to flee.
"Rumble rumble—!"
The building collapsed.
A large number of people were crushed underneath, and of the few who miraculously survived, very, very few managed to avoid being crushed entirely.
Another portion of those who luckily survived were trapped under the rubble.
Cries of anguish filled the field!
Gray and white embers slowly drifted down from the sky.
Gravity kept increasing again and again, its affected area slowly and gradually encroaching upon the surrounding region.
Although this process was extremely slow, the people trapped under the rubble watched the gravity tide, which resembled an air current, stirring up massive, tangible waves of dust.
Their psychological defenses instantly collapsed.
Whether facing natural disasters or man-made ones, ordinary people facing this moment felt nothing but despair.
Endless despair filled their hearts, causing terror and completely stripping them of any ability to resist.
"Oh, my God, my God, you guys hurry up and leave! Don't save me, just go!"
The victim, crushed under the rubble, stared blankly into the distance at the gravity tide, which looked substantial due to the dust, having lost all will to live.
"Don't talk nonsense!"
"Aaaaah!"
The colleague, covered in dust and dirt, stood beside him, holding tools and prying hard.
They were originally a group of office workers, working in an office, so their physical strength was not great.
The speed at which they pried open the rubble was far, far slower than the speed at which the gravity tide spread.
The pervasive dust covered the bodies of the two rescuers like snowmen, but they still chose not to abandon their colleague and run away.
"Buzz buzz buzz... Boom!"
Three meters away, a car was instantly flattened.
"Aaaaah!"
The victim trapped under the rubble screamed in terror.
They fell silent for a moment, holding hands, ready to face death.
The next moment.
High in the sky.
A figure in nano armor quickly flew in.
Eustass held a thread sword condensed from White Thread, infused with Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki.
He hurled it toward the spacecraft.
Gravity is a difficult thing to deal with.
For example, Admiral Fujitora of the Pirate World can manipulate the strength and direction of gravity, executing some terrifying moves.
For Eustass, the way to defeat the opponent was also very simple: use the strongest Haki.
Of course, just in case, he had prepared an extra move.
He had the thread sword fly directly above the spacecraft just before the gravity field intensified, so that when the gravity field intensified, the thread sword would be attracted and plummet downward.
The timing calculation for the throw was naturally assisted by the wisdom system.
Eustass did not possess such strong real-time calculation ability, but he could program a wisdom system with that capability.
The thread sword flew from the sky, reaching directly above the spacecraft, and the next moment, the gravity field intensified.
The thread sword suddenly plunged toward the spacecraft below.
Inside the spacecraft.
General Zod, looking at the monitoring screen, sneered. It was merely a toy woven from tangled threads.
He wouldn't take it seriously.
"Chii! Chii! Chii!"
The sound of tearing metal continuously rang out.
The thread sword pierced layer after layer of the spacecraft's outer hull, stabbing directly into the control room.
A single strike pierced the energy control room, destroying the energy core.
The next moment.
The spacecraft exploded.
General Zod and two of his subordinates simultaneously smashed through the spacecraft's outer glass and plummeted downward.
"BOOM—!"
The spacecraft exploded.
A black cloud rose above Metropolis.
General Zod and the other two Kryptonian Warriors who landed on the ground all looked back.
Their spacecraft had been destroyed.
Losing one spacecraft meant the entire operation to terraform the Earth environment could no longer proceed.
"Damn it!"
General Zod roared in fury.
"Boom!"
Eustass, wearing the nano armor, suddenly landed on the ground.
"You human, you deserve ten thousand deaths!"
General Zod turned to look at Eustass, roaring repeatedly.
In his view, Eustass had destroyed his chance to build a homeland.
Thus, he had earned the path to death.
Invaders never consider whether they are in the wrong.
"You guy who only knows how to bark, come at me if you dare~!"
Eustass pointed at General Zod, mocking him.

[PS: The previous chapter was 314, the chapter number in the title was incorrect.]
----
Eustass was truly speechless regarding these villains.
Blah, blah, blah, they just kept talking.
If they had used that time, they would have killed the enemy already.
General Zod seemed like he wanted to say a few more words and express his contempt for the human species.
Eustass instantly rushed forward, his nano armor shell wrapped in Armament Haki, and smashed a punch towards Zod's face.
Talk my ass!
Come fight!
"Hmph! Despicable human!"
General Zod roared, instantly rushed forward, and counterattacked with a punch.
The next moment, General Zod was stunned.
"Crack!"
A crisp sound rang out.
Eustass's incomparably powerful Armament Haki directly fractured his fist with a single punch.
General Zod's figure flew backward.
As he flew back, the other two Kryptonian Warriors rushed forward one after another, charging at Eustass.
Eustass stretched out both hands, grabbed the two guys, and, treating them like shot puts, rotated his body on the spot and threw them flying.
The two Kryptonian Warriors flew in two different directions and, along with General Zod, successively smashed through three skyscrapers.
Continuous rumbling sounds echoed as they repeatedly smashed through the walls of the skyscrapers.
At the same time.
Inside a certain secret Base.
"Order immediately: launch a nuclear-tipped missile at Metropolis!"
The General looked at the situation in Metropolis on the monitor screen and issued the order.
"But, General, the spaceship over Metropolis has already been dealt with!"
The Adjutant quickly said, feeling uneasy.
Their families were there.
"This is my order, didn't you see? The Kryptonians are still alive! This is the biggest threat. We will not allow 'God-like' beings above our heads!"
The General roared, then shoved the Adjutant aside, "Launch immediately! This is an order, and disobedience is absolutely forbidden! Otherwise, you will face military justice!"
He looked at the monitoring screen, and his eyes were full of greed as he watched the figure wearing the nano armor.
It was impossible that this action wasn't intended to eliminate the enemy.
"...Yes, sir!"
The Adjutant hesitated for a moment, then nodded silently.
Facing such a decision, they truly had no way to disobey... Metropolis.
Over the sea.
Several kilometers away.
A fighter jet flew quickly, heading toward this location.
"Final weapon, aiming confirmed for launch. Last confirmation, should we fire?"
The Pilot looked at the city in the distance, feeling some hesitation in his heart.
"Confirmed launch!"
The superior's command came through the communication channel.
"Yes, sir!"
The Pilot responded silently, "Counting down ten seconds. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six... three, two, one! Launch!"
A missile was dropped from the bay, its tail spewing flames, flying rapidly towards Metropolis.
Metropolis.
Eustass was just about to continue beating up General Zod when the wisdom system notified him that, under satellite surveillance, a fighter jet had been spotted launching humanity's final weapon toward Metropolis.
Eustass's expression changed in surprise.
Shit!
They're doing this again!?
Is their only job screwing people over?
Eustass glared at General Zod, who was climbing out of the ruins, then, clad in his nano armor, shot flames from his tail and flew rapidly toward the sky.
General Zod and the other two Kryptonian Warriors were startled. Why did this guy stop fighting?
Because the three of them were still wearing their intact helmets and had not been forced to adapt to the Earth's environment, their hearing had not yet adjusted. Without adjusting, they couldn't hear sounds from farther away.
Therefore, they had no idea that someone was launching a missile at Metropolis.
"Boom! Boom! Boom—!"
The three of them leaped up and charged toward Eustass.
Eustass couldn't be bothered with them. He turned and delivered a kick, his foot wrapped in White Thread, with countless White Threads woven into a giant foot, which directly slammed into the three of them, sending them flying.
Then, Eustass quickly flew toward the direction of the missile.
He flew out of the city of Metropolis and reached the sky above.
Eustass had already spotted the missile. He grabbed it with both arms, increased the nano armor's thruster power, causing it to change direction and fly towards space.
The next moment.
Metropolis, Mora Group Tower.
A large number of nano unmanned battle armor units flew out one after another.
Some flew toward Eustass to take over the task of carrying the missile away.
Others flew toward the direction in which the fighter jetwas retreating.
They think they can just run?
Leave your lives here first!
Eustass was fed up with these bastards.
No matter which parallel World, certain bastards always liked to stir up some thankless trouble.
Such as epidemics.
Such as a certain country discharging contaminated Water.
Since they wanted to court death, Eustass would grant their wish.
After the Kryptonian invaders were finished.
Eustass would make sure certain bastards also suffered misfortune.
At the same time.
All over the World.
The screens of numerous televisions were all intercepted and controlled by Mora Group satellites, beginning a live broadcast of the Metropolis situation.
The footage of the nuclear-tipped missile being launched toward Metropolis was also broadcast live.
Eustass was also very thoughtful.
He conveniently marked on the screen where the missile came from and who ordered its launch.
"Are these guys crazy? To deal with the alien enemy, they're willing to destroy their own major city?"
"What a bunch of maniacs!"
Asian viewers said in shock.
"We strongly condemn this! Metropolis still has hope, there are still people fighting the aliens, they shouldn't do this!"
"Condemnation! Strong condemnation! This is an idiotic action, disregarding the lives of tens of millions of civilians!"
European viewers expressed their anger after watching the television.
"Damn it, they are a bunch of lunatics!"
"Metropolis still has hope! They are definitely trying to eliminate that powerful individual who possesses the strength to fight the aliens!"
This was the opinion of the local audience.
America.
A certain satellite Base.
"What in the World is going on? Why can't we cut these TV signals? Cut them all off immediately!"
A Military Officer roared furiously.
"Report, sir, our satellite has been destroyed by Mora Industries' satellite. Currently, all broadcast signals are being managed by Mora Industries!"
A member of the Technical Staff spoke up.
In 1984, they invented a technology that allowed them to control global television simply by using satellites to envelop the globe with particles.
Now that their satellite was gone, control was naturally taken over by Mora Industries' satellite.
The reason Mora Industries could destroy their satellite was simple: Eustass established Mora Industries early on, developing the aerospace field long before anyone else.
And at the same time.
The viewers in Metropolis also voiced their opinions online one by one.
"Damn it, there's a hero here! There shouldn't be a missile!"
"Bastards! We can still be saved! Don't do this!"
Metropolis netizens continuously wailed online.
Chapter 316: 316. Killing Zod! (Please subscribe!)
Eustass, wearing his nano armor, flew into the sky, carrying the missile.
An nano unmanned battle armor quickly flew over, took the missile from his hand, and rapidly ascended into the sky.
At this moment, the missile had one minute left until detonation.
A large number of nano unmanned battle armor flew over one after another, each carrying a missile, furiously increasing energy to propel themselves rapidly toward the sky.
Eustass flew into the distance, and at the same time, raised his palm and aimed at the missile.
Pym Particles shot out from the nano armor, hitting the missile and causing it to shrink down to the size of a toy car.
Hopefully, this would reduce the blast radius, or allow the armor to carry the missile out of the atmosphere at a faster speed.
Over the years, the scientists of the Mora Group in this World haven't been able to create it, but they have continuously iterated and upgraded it based on the original design.
Years of iteration and upgrading were enough to give the armor the technology to fly out of Earth.
The people of Metropolis were standing on the streets, hiding in their homes, or standing on cruise ships at sea.
One by one, they watched the missile being carried high into the sky, and they were all overwhelmingly ecstatic.
"Look, the missile is gone!"
"No, it didn't disappear. It was shrunk down by some technology and is being carried to higher altitudes at a faster speed."
An amateur astronomer standing inside his home said this while looking through a telescope.
Asia.
"Wish them luck, bless them!"
"Is it solved? Phew, I thought those lunatics' missile was really going to hit Metropolis. That would have been truly insane."
Europe.
"Thank goodness! I just booked a ticket to Metropolisyesterday. I haven't traveled to Metropolis once in my life."
"Yeah, yeah, if that nuclear missile had dropped, I would never travel to Metropolis again."
"No way, I heard experts from America say there wouldn't be any contamination."
"Then you better hurry and go. May your whole family be filled with 'radiant luck.' You really are a 'big genius'."
Homeland.
"Holy crap! We're right next door. Thank goodness the nuclear missile was sent into the sky!"
"Is there a possibility it will detonate right above Metropolis? And then the airflow..."
Pennsylvania netizen: "There's a piece of shit I don't know if I should say or not."
New Hampshire netizen: "Say it!"
Maine netizen: "Radiation flows into the East Blue (East Coast)."
Africa.
Ordinary people in Africa don't have televisions and can't afford to watch them, and the rich don't care about these matters.
Africa has no voice.
A certain place on the map that looks like a bug.
This place was a ruin.
If there were still a few Natives here struggling to survive in the World.
Then, when they learned the news that a nuclear missile had been launched at Metropolis.
It would surely trigger the fear they once held for a certain boy... Metropolis.
Eustass returned to the city.
General Zod's eyes were bloodshot because Eustass had ruined his plan to recreate New Krypton, destroying General Zod's only hope.
Therefore, General Zod utterly hated him now.
"Die!"
General Zod roared, lowered his head, and painfully covered his extremely hot eyes.
"Aaaah!"
The next instant, General Zod suddenly raised his head, aimed at Eustass in the sky, and two Laser Beams shot toward Eustass.
Eustass wrapped Haki around his hands, threw two punches, and immediately deflected the laser.
Next, the nano armor quickly flew toward General Zod, and Eustass fiercely smashed a punch into General Zod's face.
"Boom!"
General Zod's body was knocked down, his head hitting the ground, and he let out a scream.
The ground was cracked by the impact.
Dirt and rocks splattered.
Eustass landed another punch on General Zod's face, causing General Zod's head to indent the ground, creating a large crater.
To the side.
The other two Kryptonian Warrior quickly ran over, charging at Eustass.
Eustass assimilated the ground, and two White Thread Columns emerged from the surface. The columns were wrapped in Armament Haki and violently slammed into those two guys.
The power of the Devil Fruit was used freely.
After all, when this power was used, others would only assume it was an ability derived from Nanotechnology.
It wouldn't scare away foreign enemies like Steppenwolf.
It was just a tiny, insignificant, and unthreatening little invention.
How could Steppenwolf and his allies be afraid of such a small difficulty?
Invade Earth, quick!
He was waiting to collect the reward.
Eustass's fists continuously smashed down onto General Zod's face.
The sound of crashing echoed incessantly.
The survivors nearby felt pain just listening to it.
"Crack! Crack!"
The bones in General Zod's head were shattered by Eustass.
General Zod's face was distorted as he looked at Eustassin agony.
The opponent's fists fell rapidly like afterimages, terrifyingly resembling hundreds of phantom punches.
When Kryptonian came to Earth, they became very strong due to the different gravity and the life-giving Sun, which strengthened their bodies.
But similarly, Eustass wasn't an ordinary Earthling either.
The people of the Pirate World had extremely fierce combat power: fists that could flatten mountains, Swordsman who could slice meteors, powerhouses who could trigger earthquakes and tsunamis with a single punch, and formidable individuals who could pull down meteors.
Is this something a normal human could do?
Not to mention Devil Fruit, Devil Fruit also requires stamina.
If stamina isn't up to par, don't even think about achieving these feats, or developing the Devil Fruit power to such an absurd extent.
General Zod was powerful as a Kryptonian, but Eustasswas no slouch.
Moreover, he was a Cheater... "Boom! Boom! Boom—!"
The loud noises continued. While Eustass relentlessly pounded General Zod, General Zod had no ability to resist whatsoever.
At the same time, he controlled the two White Thread Columns to attack the other two Kryptonian Warrior.
The White Thread Columns continuously lashed out, forcing the two men to retreat repeatedly, leaving them covered in wounds.
They were all stunned. Hadn't they been told that Earthwas a very backward place?
This guy, wearing armor that looked fragile, was completely suppressing them, leaving them unable to fight back.
This was totally outrageous!
General Zod, along with the other two Kryptonian Warrior, were starting to doubt their lives at this point.
They couldn't tell if Eustass was inherently powerful, or if Earth itself was hiding extremely advanced technology.
"Well done!"
"Make them get off Earth!"
"Earth doesn't welcome them!"
"Kill him! Kill the invading alien!"
Large numbers of survivors nearby excitedly raised their fists and shouted.
Eustass ignored them and delivered a final punch to General Zod.
"Pfft!"
General Zod's chest was punched straight through.
General Zod spat out a mouthful of blood, his vision gradually darkened, and he died.
The next instant.
Eustass looked at the two Kryptonian Warrior not far away.
Chapter 317: Pluton Shoots Down the Kryptonian Ship! (Subscribe, please!)
BOOM!
Eustass shot forward in a blink, punching one Kryptonian Warrior so hard the man tore through several skyscrapers and had no strength left to fight back.
Another Kryptonian Warrior rushed over, about to swing at Eustass.
Eustass spun instantly and drove his fist straight into the man's chest.
One punch—he punched right through the body.
PFFT!
The Kryptonian spat blood and collapsed, dead.
Eustass glanced back; the last warrior had smashed through a building and rolled far down the street before finally stopping.
The man swayed to his feet, then dropped to his knees in agony.
When Eustass walked up, the warrior knew the only ending left was death.
Hmph.
The Kryptonian gave a cold laugh, yanked the weapon from his waist, and held it across his chest, eyes locked on Eustass with solemn resolve. "Come. As a soldier, to die in battle is to die with honor and glory!"
Eustass nodded.
He felt genuine respect; after all, the man was a true soldier.
But as an enemy, he would grant no chance of survival.
This World is cruel.
The Universe is crueler.
Space holds vaster reaches, richer resources, frontiers you could spend a lifetime exploring and never finish.
Yet the greed ingrained in intelligent life leads to one thing.
The dark-forest law of the cosmos: only the strong devour the weak.
In the next instant,
Eustass and the Kryptonian Warrior charged each other.
RAAH!
The Kryptonian roared and thrust his blade at Eustass.
Eustass batted the blade aside with one fist, then punched straight through the man's body.
Cough, cough…
Blood poured from the Kryptonian's mouth.
As Eustass pulled his arm free, the warrior dropped to his knees.
"Krypton… maybe it deserves to fall… hahaha!"
The warrior laughed mockingly, then dropped dead, face-down, eyes still open.
Clark is only one man; left to find a wife and have kids to continue the Kryptonian line, it'd take till the cows come home.
From the start, General Zod and the other warriors never believed in Kal-El or his father's dream.
A species can't pin its survival on two or three people having babies—it's too slow and far too fragile.
One accident and the Kryptonian race would be extinct.
[host has defeated the wandering Kryptonian General Zod!]
[Reward: Demon Slayer World charge points +6!]
[host has defeated a Kryptonian Warrior!]
[Reward: Demon Slayer World charge points +1!]
[host has defeated a Kryptonian Warrior!]
[Reward: Demon Slayer World charge points +1!]
[Demon Slayer World charge points: 21/30!]
Eustass grinned—looked like the trip to the Demon Slayer World wasn't far off.
General Zod's threat to destroy Earth and rebuild Krypton must have been huge; no wonder the system gave so many points.
Yep, perfectly beaver—uh, reasonable!
Now, all that stood between him and the Demon Slayer World was probably one Steppenwolf.
Take out a few mini-bosses in between and he'd be all set.
Clad in nano armor, Eustass shot skyward and flew out of the city.
He planned to circle to the far side of the planet and steal a kill.
Another ship waited on the opposite side of Earth.
But right then—
High in the sky,
Up in the stratosphere,
A missile had barely left its launch pad when it exploded.
BOOOOM—!
A gigantic ball of light flared above Metropolis.
Eustass glanced back, eyes icy, killing intent surging.
Those people weren't trying to get rid of General Zod at all.
Their real target was Eustass himself.
They wanted him dead so they could sit unchallenged as Earth's petty kings.
"Sir, the other ship has escaped Earth's atmosphere," the wisdom system reported via global-satellite feed.
"Where's Clark?" Eustass asked.
"In pursuit."
"Blow it out of the sky—use Pluton Zero!" Eustassordered coldly.
Over the past few decades he had imported tech from the Pirate World and the Marvel Universe; after founding the Mora Group's DC branch,
his people had been busy.
Moon landings were one thing; building the ancient weapon Pluton up there had been the other.
At this very moment,
Across the globe,
Every TV screen flicked to a new feed.
A Mora Industries satellite aimed at space and began broadcasting.
Viewers worldwide froze.
Watching the vast starfield, they held their breath.
Something huge was about to happen.
The broadcast split: a small window tracked the fleeing Kryptonian ship, while the main screen focused on a lunar crater.
The once-barren crater stirred silently to life.
The ultra-thick defense platform of Mora Industries's Lunar Pluton Zero Base split open and slid aside.
A colossal shape rose slowly to the surface.
A gigantic cannon barrel lifted, locked onto the alien vessel under the wisdom system's guidance, energy gathering at its muzzle.
Audiences everywhere stared dumbfounded at the monster cannon on their screens.
Eustass had ordered a few tweaks to Pluton.
In the Pirate World oceans dominated the planet; aside from the Red Line, only scattered islands existed.
So Pluton had been a sea-going battleship.
But elsewhere it needed an upgrade.
Take the lunar Pluton Base.
Pluton had been rebuilt as a moon-anchored energy cannon aimed at space.
Numbered Pluton Bases dotted the moon, ready to lock onto any force on Earth—or any alien power heading for the planet.
Later tweaks could even add thrusters and turn it into a space warship,
giving the little blue sphere's residents a tiny taste of otherworldly might.
The broadcast helpfully labeled the weapon: Pluton Zero.
"Target locked!"
"Pluton Zero, fire!"
The wisdom system's cold mechanical voice sounded; a terrifying energy beam lanced from the lunar surface and smashed into the fleeing ship.
Silent vacuum.
A vast, beautiful blossom of fire bloomed like a firework.
Soundless, yet utterly breathtaking!
Across the World, countless viewers sat transfixed.
While everyone else was still in the information age, someone had already leapt into the era of space wars?
Chapter 318: Superman's Disappointment! Harley QuinnArrested! (Please Subscribe!)
Damn it!
At this very moment.
Countless people's minds were blown.
Especially the guy who ordered the missile to be detonated prematurely; he was so panicked he wished he could bury his head in the sand.
Superman, who had chased out of the atmosphere, was also stunned.
He glanced at the moon. When did humans establish a Base there?
However, he had only recently learned to Master flight.
It was normal for him not to know about such things.
The next instant.
The Pluton Zero cannon began to adjust its aim.
Clark's expression froze, and he quickly flew over.
Only when he flew above the Pluton Base did he realize where it was pointing.
America.
As for the specific location, he couldn't determine it.
"You can't do that!"
Clark shouted angrily, clenching his fists, wanting to destroy the Pluton Base.
However, this was space, so what he said was equivalent to saying nothing; there was no sound at all.
The next instant.
Inside the Base, an Unmanned Combat Armor walked out. A display screen appeared on the armor's forehead, showing a line of text:
"Why are you in such a hurry to destroy it? Why don't you ask what the American military did?"
Clark was stunned.
He wanted to communicate with the other party but didn't know how.
Nanomaterials surged on the Unmanned Combat Armor's hand, forming a communication terminal, which it handed to Clark.
Clark typed a line of text on it for the other party to see:
"What did they do?"
He had gone to chase the alien spaceship; how could he have time to watch TV?
Moreover, he was on the other side of the Earth.
He was so busy then that he had no time to find out what happened in Metropolis.
"They launched a nuclear missile at Metropolis."
The Unmanned Combat Armor replied without even looking at what he had typed, the text directly transmitted to the terminal.
The terminal was part of the Unmanned Combat Armor, all controlled by the wisdom system.
"What!?"
Clark shouted in shock, but unfortunately, there was still no sound~
"Perhaps, that was just a desperate measure to eliminate the enemy..."
Clark simply couldn't imagine that the humans he deeply loved would be like this... Of course, only a small part was bad.
On this point, both he and Eustass agreed.
"General Zod has been dealt with. The missile was being transported away when they detonated it prematurely."
The terminal in Clark's hand displayed the words of the Unmanned Combat Armor.
Clark was silent for a long time, speechless.
He silently looked at the Pluton Base behind him.
This Base must have been established a long time ago.
Not using it for so long proved that the owner of the Basedid not want to interfere much with Earth's affairs.
The problem was with the American military.
Forget it, it's just a deterrent. He sighed silently and no longer interfered.
Clark leaped up, and the next instant, he flew fiercely towards the Earth.
Near Metropolis.
Clark met Eustass here.
He looked at Metropolis in the distance, silent.
The next instant.
The Moon.
Pluton Zero Base.
A beam of energy was fired towards Earth.
A certain secret American military Base was directly hit by the energy beam.
Eustass was not simply deterring.
Some people wanted to kill him, and if he didn't kill a few bastards.
Others would really think he was weak and easy to bully.
Several months later.
At a frequency of thirty shots per day.
Eustass was setting off firecrackers on the foreheads of the American military high command every day.
This scared them all.
One by one, they came begging for forgiveness.
Eustass was too lazy to see them.
He had also killed many bastards.
His anger was mostly vented.
This matter was over.
Of course, since the Battle of Metropolis, the whole World understood one thing.
That is, in addition to the deterrent of ultimate weapons, there was now another deterrent in this World, the Pluton Deterrent.
Mora Industries' global satellite coverage could help them locate all enemies.
The Pluton Heavy Cannon could directly pierce an enemy Base with one shot, even underground facilities.
Just like in the Marvel Universe, he placed a Vibraniummountain above people's heads as a deterrent.
Reality is always wilder than fiction.
If certain ambitious people are not given a destructive deterrent.
They will always run wild like an untamed horse.
They are extremely wild, even capable of pulling off tricks that harm the enemy by eight hundred and themselves by one thousand.
Bah, terrible tricks!
Metropolis.
Office workers rushed to work anxiously, occasionally looking up at the sky.
Above the sky, numerous hidden Pluton Bases were either locked onto Earth, guarding against untamed horses, or preventing foreign enemies.
If an untamed horse breaks loose, let them taste the flavor of Pluton.
If foreign enemies attack, their ships will be directly destroyed in space.
On the road, people with their families occasionally drove away from Metropolis.
Aside from some struggling poor people, many with a bit of economic means chose to move out of Metropolis.
After all, no one wants to live in such a place.
A nuclear missile exploding over their heads.
Who could endure that?
Those who were quick fled on the day of the Battle of Metropolis.
In the future, Metropolis will inevitably have more deformed children, and people dying from various cancers.
Regarding this, Eustass could only express admiration.
As expected of DC, the specialty is arrogance. Other places have various specialties, but DC is very stable; the specialty here is psychopaths.
In the Marvel Universe, during the Battle of New York, although a missile was also launched, it also had the potential purpose of eliminating the enemy and incidentally eliminating superheroes as a potential threat.
But later, before he sent the missile through the Portal to the Chitauri space fortress.
No one detonated it prematurely.
The result was that in DC, someone took the risk to detonate it prematurely... 2013.
Just after the Battle of Metropolis ended in December, Clark began working at the Daily Planet and officially started dating Lois Lane.
Afterward, he took his girlfriend to Eustass's house for a Christmas gathering.
Eustass patted him on the shoulder:
"The great plan for Kryptonian progeny relies on you."
Clark: "???"
Clark was stunned for a long time; it was a little too terrifying... 2014.
Gotham.
Under the dark night sky.
"Whoosh!"
Batman, in a black robe and wearing a Batman mask, jumped down from a building, landing on the ground, looking displeased at Harley Quinn opposite him.
"Oh dear~ You caught me~"
Harley Quinn looked at Batman opposite her, smiled flirtatiously, and said playfully, "Okay, I surrender~"
"Hmph!"
Batman snorted coldly and walked over.
"Surrender my foot! Hahaha!"
Harley Quinn burst into laughter, swinging her baseball bat at Batman.
"Bang!"
Batman raised his hand to block the baseball bat, grabbed Harley Quinn, and threw her out directly.
"Thud!"
Harley Quinn's body slammed into a car on the street.
Batman rushed forward and punched her unconscious.
He tied up Harley Quinn, waiting for the official personnel to come and take her.
He got in his car and left immediately.
If Eustass had come, he wouldn't care if she was Harley Quinn.
He would still deal with her with a single blade.
But capturing without killing has always been Batman's style.
Clark: You're noble, you're amazing!
Chapter 319 – A Plot Against Superman! (Please subscribe!)
Honestly…
Batman is pretty hypocritical.
Leaving everything else aside, just on the kill-or-don't-kill issue, the guy's got a real problem.
When it comes to Gotham's crooks,
he catches but never kills.
Yet when it comes to Superman, he thinks Clark's very arrival threatens Earthlings, so he wants him dead.
Then Steppenwolf showed up.
And suddenly he remembered Superman.
Bruce drove off, back to the manor.
After mulling it over, he still decided to call Eustass.
It didn't take long for the call to connect.
"This is Bruce."
Bruce spoke first.
"So? Planning to throw me in jail too?"
Eustass sneered.
Bruce: "…"
Earlier Bruce had really wanted to make trouble for Eustass.
The reason: he felt Eustass's company tech was so advanced it outpaced the whole World.
Always paranoid, he wondered if Eustass was hatching some conspiracy.
To that end he even tried to infiltrate Mora Group for intel.
Eustass beat him up for it.
Eustass snapped several of his bones; Bruce lay in hospital for ages.
"I—I didn't mean that…"
Bruce said awkwardly.
"Then go back to your gala and chat up some pretty girls, little brat."
Eustass mocked and was about to hang up.
Bruce's face was full of black lines.
But what could he do? He couldn't beat the man, and his money super-power was no match either.
Eustass's Mora Group is a behemoth fusing cutting-edge tech from two Worlds, far beyond Wayne Enterprises.
Persuasion was hopeless; after living over a century Eustass wasn't some half-hero half-lunatic Bruce could talk around.
"I've something to discuss, about—"
"Beep-beep-beep~!"
The disconnect tone sounded; Bruce sighed in resignation.
He'd known since childhood Eustass didn't like him.
Every time Eustass visited the Waynes, all he did was pat little Bruce's head—pat, pat, pat.
Enough to show how thick the malice ran.
Bruce rubbed his ever-thinning hair, sat inside, brooding over Superman.
He felt Superman was a threat.
A threat to humanity… Los Angeles.
Inside Eustass's manor.
Eustass ended Bruce's call, walked out of the bedroom into the living-room, slung an arm around Diana and watched TV.
Superman a threat?
What utter bull.
In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the conflict was stirred up by Lex Luthor.
All the plots were Lex Luthor's creations; even the final monster was built by him.
Lex even kidnapped Superman's girlfriend and foster-mom just to watch the two heroes fight.
He'd staged earlier bombings and deliberately pinned the clues on Superman.
That ignited the lunatic Batman's rage.
So Batman idiotically went to kill Superman.
From start to finish the schemer Lex never got the punishment he deserved—just locked away.
And because of that misunderstanding Batman, who tried to kill Superman, ended up fighting Doomsday.
Even better:
Superman was weak to Kryptonite.
Batman and the others just stood there, letting the Kryptonite-crippled Superman drag the mineral to obliterate himself along with Doomsday.
Eustass didn't think Superman had any real problem.
Batman v Superman felt to him like pure setup for Justice League.
Between Iron Man and Batman, he preferred Iron Man.
Both liked to guard against teammates, but the difference was huge.
Iron Man was simply more fun; Batman was darker.
Iron Man really dared to sacrifice himself for justice, whereas Batman… wanted to kill Superman, then later wanted to resurrect him.
"Come on, stop lying around, time to work, Clark~"
Wasn't that sick?
So as Bruce grew older, Eustass disliked him more.
Earlier Batman had tried to steal Mora Group tech and got a thorough beating.
Eustass had simply shattered the bones in Bruce's limbs and dumped him on a Gotham street.
If the butler hadn't arrived in time, even if no one killed Batman, plenty would've spat or peed on him.
One year later.
Los Angeles.
Eustass strolled downtown with his wife.
Not far away in the plaza stood a statue of him wearing nano armor.
The Group had never announced Eustass's identity; all these years it stayed secret.
Yet because Eustass defeated General Zod and indirectly saved many lives,
afterwards cities around the World spontaneously erected statues for him.
Eustass fought Zod only for the system reward—that was true.
But defeating Zod did save many, and that was also true.
People didn't care about his motives; repaying his kindness was only right.
Eustass glanced at a Superman statue half a head shorter than his own.
Since he'd beaten Zod while Superman chased another ship on the opposite hemisphere,
Supes hadn't performed as well as in the original plot.
Still, many chose to thank him.
Of course, thanks came with complaints.
Some idiots whined that Mora Industries wouldn't share tech with all mankind.
Eustass wanted to ask:
When his homeland was at its hardest,
why didn't they share their tech with his home?
Others envied and feared Superman's power.
After all, certain top brass
wanted to indulge in a bit of mischief.
But the next second Superman might kick in their door.
So people's fear of him was natural… East Africa.
Nairobi.
In the desert.
A jeep raced toward low buildings in the distance.
The jeep rolled to a stop.
A black-turbaned soldier grabbed the female reporter by the clothes, hooded her, and shoved her forward.
Sand billowed as wind howled overhead.
Another turbaned soldier with a rifle slung round his neck dragged a cameraman from the back seat.
They brought the two before the general.
They pushed the cameraman to his knees and yanked off his hood.
Next they removed the female reporter's hood.
The reporter Lois hurried forward.
She sat opposite the general, notebook in hand, ready for the interview.
Across from her sat a figure in a traditional white cap, sunglasses, and jacket.
Lois had come for the interview.
Chapter 320 – Suing Superman? Outrageous! (Subscribe!)
But…
Right at this moment!
The General's aide tore the device from the cameraman's hands and smashed it to the ground.
A tiny tracker tumbled out.
A faint, intermittent beep could still be heard.
(Utter nonsense—whoever heard of a noisy tracker? Yet the original plot really had one…)
"CIA!"
The next second, the scene turned to chaos.
The CIA operative disguised as a cameraman muttered a few foreign words before dying, explaining that Lois had known nothing.
The General shot him dead with one bullet.
The General dragged Lois indoors, ready to interrogate her.
Moments later, every one of his soldiers outside turned traitor, gunned down their comrades, and drove off.
They were all LexCorp operatives.
Sensing danger, the General pressed his gun to Lois's head, using her as a hostage while nervously watching outside.
Next instant—
High in the sky…
Sonic booms thundered.
Superman blasted through the wall, landed inside, and looked at Lois.
"Take one step closer and I'll blow her head off!"
the General roared.
The two exchanged a knowing smile.
In the next heartbeat—
Before the General could react, Superman sent him flying with a single punch.
One week later.
America.
Washington D.C.
A courtroom.
"The village women heard a sound, as if the sky had split open; he flew down, and many died."
A mute stood before the bench, recounting Superman's non-existent atrocities.
In the gallery…
Several Mora Group lawyers sat wearing odd expressions, staring at the fool on the stand.
"Where'd they hire this actor?"
"Shh, keep it down."
"What are we afraid of—this farm-tool…
LexCorp paid for him, but our satellites caught Lex's people near that village. Clearly Lex did it."
"Relax—LexCorp is nothing."
The Mora Group supervisor beside them waved dismissively.
They were only here for the spectacle.
After all, lawsuits against Superman were rare.
Well, not exactly rare…
There were plenty every year.
But only from bored troublemakers.
Usually, even judges—knowing Superman's good temper—dare not casually subpoena him…
unless the payoff is simply too good to refuse.
"Give a dog a bad name and hang him"—the saying fits perfectly.
Just like in Marvel…
Somebody wanted Stark's iron man armor…
so the next day a subpoena landed on his desk.
The Mora people found the mute's testimony laughable.
He blamed Superman from start to finish…
yet Superman had done nothing wrong—he'd only rescued his girlfriend.
Later, war erupted near the village…
and many died.
And the mute blamed Superman again.
Hence, Eustass firmly believes one thing…
Mutes, in the West…
are merely tools certain people use to frame others.
"The whole World has seen Superman's power, yet ignores the responsibility he should bear."
The Female Judge on the bench snapped angrily.
"Your Honor, what official post, then, do you propose to assign to Mr. Superman?"
A Mora Group reporter rose and asked.
The judge blinked, startled.
"What post?"
"Oh, come on—stop play-acting."
As expected of a Mora reporter—fearless.
He cut straight to the heart of the matter.
"Great power entails great responsibility. Enjoy the perks, shoulder the burden—simple logic, no?"
he declared.
"Then tell me, Mr. Reporter—what responsibility has the Mora Group ever shouldered?"
the judge shot back.
"Mora is a profit-seeking company. We don't raid resources with the Pluto—already leagues better than some people's ancestors, right?"
the reporter retorted.
He had nothing to fear.
This judge was bankrolled by Lex.
For Mora to stand firm in the West…
they naturally kept their own congressmen, judges, and lawyers on retainer.
The judge's face darkened as she glared at him.
"Fine, fine—I know you sneak off daily to meet Lex Luthor, that loser, counting cash till his hands cramp~"
With that, the reporter sat down.
"Any further questions?"
the judge asked, then shot a nervous glance at the Mora spectators in the gallery.
The Mora people couldn't be bothered to respond.
Good—she exhaled in relief.
"The hearing panel will rule on Superman based on this transcript."
she announced.
"He won't listen to any of you—not a single soul!"
the mute raged across the room, his thick, dung-colored lips trembling. "He doesn't even fear God!"
…Los Angeles.
Eustass lounged in his manor, basking in the Sun…
while subordinates opposite him respectfully recounted the courtroom drama.
Eustass sipped his juice and snorted.
The tale made him laugh out loud.
Honestly, the whole thing was absurd.
In the Black Continent, death in war is everyday news…
Everyone knows who really pulls the trigger…
Superman swooped in, saved his girl, wiped out the enemy, and left.
Yet us villains slapped the blame on the hero.
After Lex's men shot the unlucky General, they simply walked away without even tidying the scene.
Can't tell bullet wounds from fist bruises?
From footprint depth and size you can gauge weight and height…
Yet they stared at those bullet holes like the blind, claiming fists did the killing—bandit descendants; easy to change rivers and mountains, impossible to change one's nature.
Meanwhile…
Washington D.C.
Thunder rolled across the sky…
Rain fell in sheets…
Pitter-patter.
Clark had just left work, umbrella in hand, walking the street.
He glanced upward.
It had been ages since a nuke streaked over Metropolis…
but only the city itself seemed scarred.
Since then, the Daily Planet—like every other major corporation—had relocated.
No one wanted to live or work in Metropolis anymore.
Clark stepped inside, shook off his umbrella, and opened his apartment door.
He parked the umbrella, then shut the door behind him.
By now, certain media were asking whether Supermanshould bear responsibility…
and debating whether to sanction him.
Of course, only a bunch of clowns would dare, knowing Superman's patience.
Replace him with a Dark Superman—or Homelander—
and they'd never dare utter a peep.
He entered the bathroom and saw Lois.
Clark smiled and presented his gift, but Lois looked troubled.
Chapter 321 – 321. Kill That Superman! (Subscribe!)
Somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere.
On an Island.
A Small Boat drifted past; the owner glanced at the wreckage of a spaceship nearby and looked up in puzzlement.
Could this be the Kryptonian Ship that Pluton shot down back then?
Several days later.
A Helicopter landed slowly on the Island; a Big Bossstepped off, waved his hand, and paid men to salvage the wreckage.
Not long after.
A strange object was fished out of the wreck and delivered to the boss—Lex Luthor.
Knock, knock.
Lex Luthor smashed it hard with a hammer; the outer shell cracked open.
"Whoa, what is this?"
Lex Luthor stared in surprise as the shell split to reveal Green Ore inside.
"Boss, boss! We found in the wreck—"
A week later.
Lex Luthor met America's officials outside a lab, watching through the glass as a Robotic Arm moved a Green Oretoward an Operating Table.
On the table lay a Kryptonian corpse.
Lex's men had recovered the body from the Kryptonianwreckage.
It was already badly mangled.
Yet even so, nothing they had could pierce Kryptonianskin for study.
The Robotic Arm pressed the Green Ore against the corpse.
In an instant it punctured the Kryptonian's skin.
Lex glanced sideways; the invited Senators were dumbstruck.
The lofty Kryptonians could actually be wounded?
At the thought, delight spread across every face.
Since Superman appeared, he often did what he deemed right.
He flew around the world rescuing people or fighting villains.
But in the eyes of these top brass,
they felt no gratitude at all.
All they felt was fear of Superman.
They saw him as a threat.
So they wanted him gone.
And the twisted Lex wanted, through killing Superman, to satisfy his perverse need for conquest.
Thus, once he obtained Kryptonite, a dangerous idea was born.
Kill Superman.
Of course, knowing Superman's weakness first; otherwise he wouldn't be so foolish as to challenge him.
"When this mineral nears a Kryptonian, their cells decay rapidly."
A Scientist explained.
"Therefore, enough of this ore can be weaponized."
Lex, hunched and swaggering, gestured wildly.
The Senators beside him nodded excitedly.
"Look, what a pretty little thing."
Lex pointed at the Screen; a huge chunk of Kryptoniteappeared.
"So, we need an important Permit—from you."
Lex smiled.
The Senators exchanged glances and shook their heads.
"Kryptonite—why would we allow you to build such a dangerous weapon?"
one asked.
Lex grinned—haggling.
"Deterrence."
He waved. "Like a Final Weapon against Kryptonianthreats, so your grandchildren won't have to wag their tails like puppies before tyrants."
"If I recall, the only one flying over our heads is Superman."
a Senator remarked.
"Ah, yes—Superman."
Lex shot him a playful look, nodding with a smile.
But not just Superman.
Above them—and on the Moon—stood legions of PlutonBases.
Yet they had no leverage over Eustass.
Physically, they'd found no weakness; even if they did, they couldn't get Sea Stone.
Technologically, Mora Group crushed them.
As for family leverage—Diana they couldn't beat, nor could they beat Gado.
So, unable to touch Eustass's family, they picked on good-natured Mr. Superman.
The Senator chuckled.
He knew the other threat—but they truly couldn't provoke that one.
One moment they'd draft plans against Eustass;
the next, Pluton would rain down divine justice with a single blast.
"There will be more in the future."
Lex smiled.
"Classic Superman Theory."
another Senator said.
"Exactly—Superman Theory. These super-humans may live among us."
Lex grinned; the Senators' eyes lit up.
Lex, a Financial Group, understood America.
They could not tolerate any other people living better than they.
Winning, they'd crush foes, mock them, then dine like gentlemen.
Losing, they'd grow ever crazier.
If they couldn't thrive, no one else would.
Thus, even crimes that hurt themselves, they'd commit—so long as others lost.
For they could not allow anyone else to win.
Mora Group's growth and advanced tech terrified them.
And Superman, flying free, beyond control, terrified them with the loss of influence.
So they agreed to cooperate with Lex.
Start by building a weapon that can kill Superman… "Pleasure doing business."
Lex shook hands with the Senators, delighted.
"We may not need it yet, but once we have it, we'll no longer need to humor the super-humans."
With that, Lex slapped the glass case beside him.
Deterrence was just a lie.
He would exploit their greed to forge a weapon capable of killing Superman.
Once forged, he would kill Superman outright!
Lex's goal was never to protect mankind.
Only to satisfy his twisted lust for conquest.
A day later.
Lex met the Senators again.
LexCorp wasn't as vast or absurdly armed as Mora Group.
So sometimes he still had to play by the rules.
The Kryptonian wreckage had been seized by the US Military shortly after discovery.
Now he had to fight to secure usage rights to that wreck.
He believed secrets lay within, waiting for him to uncover.

Several days later.
Washington D.C.
The hearing began as scheduled.
A Wayne Enterprises employee who had survived the Metropolis battle—only to have his legs crushed by falling debris—and later vented his rage by vandalizing Superman's statue…
After being locked up,
LexCorp bailed him out.
Now he was part of the hearing, ready to prosecute Superman.
It was downright farcical.
Thanks to Eustass's involvement, the one who'd fought General Zod on-site in Metropolis had been Eustasshimself.
While Superman had flown to the other side of the planet.
Yet Lex didn't dare frame Eustass; the Mora Group was too powerful.
So he joined forces with that disgruntled Wayne employee to sue Superman instead.
Superman had never even taken part in the Metropolisbattle—at most he'd tailed a spaceship for a joyride—and still they were dragging him to court in broad daylight.
Just picking on the honest guy, huh?
With the hearing about to start, VIPs filed in while swarms of reporters interviewed outside.
Hundreds gathered to protest, voicing support for Superman.
Lex chatted amiably with the crowd as he walked out,
claiming he had more important matters to handle and asking his assistant to save his seat.
In truth, he simply didn't dare stay inside a minute longer.
"Look, he's here—he's really here! Up in the sky!"
Outside,
a female reporter shouted, pointing skyward.
The camera swung.
toward the heavens.
Superman hovered in the House of El suit, crimson cape billowing; the crowd erupted in cheers.
Los Angeles.
Mora Manor.
Eustass lounged inside, munching snacks Diana passed him while watching the live feed of Superman soaring on TV.
Right now, those senators must be roaring,
furious that Superman dared soar above their authority.
Power is intoxicating, and under its spell some fools grow utterly irrational.
Like insects, dancing recklessly in front of a predator just to taste power.
The scene cut.
to the hearing.
Superman approached slowly and stood opposite.
The female investigator facing him delivered pretty platitudes from her chair, sounding perfectly impartial.
Mid-speech, someone rolled her a glass of water.
She reached for it, about to drink, then froze—words on the cup's note made her pupils shrink.
Lex had threatened her.
Her words faltered.
She twisted the glass, reading the message clearly.
Terrified, she glanced at Lex's seat—now empty.
Everyone noticed her panic.
All heads turned.
Superman looked too.
Not far away,
the Wayne employee sat, face cold and blank.
"Boom—!"
An explosion erupted!
Flames burst from his body, the blast engulfing the building and swallowing everyone in a sea of fire.
In the next instant,
a thunderous roar shook the sky as the entire structure detonated, fire spreading outward.
To frame Superman, Lex had gone all-out—
planting enough explosives inside such a solemn venue.
He'd prepared plenty; otherwise a building this size couldn't be leveled in one go.
Outside, panic and terror swept the crowd.
Inside the hearing hall,
everything had become an ocean of flame.
Superman stood there, surveying the devastation, bitterly disappointed—
disappointed in humanity.
Someone had exploited this hearing to frame him,
and for that goal had willingly slaughtered countless staff within the building.
Elsewhere,
Bruce watched the live broadcast, face twisted in agony.
Over the hearing site, black smoke billowed sky-high.
Bruce pulled out a memo his former employee had written.
It was a newspaper scrawled in blood:
"You Let Your Family Die!"
Bruce's heart pounded, his nerves stretched to breaking.
The hearing bombing instantly ignited his fury.
For days he'd lived in fear, even suffering horrific hallucinations.
And this explosion—
pushed him over the edge; he no longer cared about uncovering the truth on Superman.
His gut now told him the media's smears were right.
Bruce wanted Superman gone.
Dead.
…Evening.
Superman stood on his girlfriend's balcony, gazing at the city in sorrow.
He couldn't understand why people treated him this way.
His heart ached; he felt lost.
At the time he hadn't even considered using x-ray vision to scan the room—
all these years he'd helped mankind, giving everything.
He was tired.
Weary in spirit.
When the blast came, even rushing to stop it had been futile.
Sure, he could have grabbed someone, reached them in time,
but it wouldn't have mattered—
mere humans couldn't survive temperatures that high. Meanwhile,
Lex returned to his company.
The moment he entered, he found the industrial park swarming with guards and the lobby littered with bullet casings.
He rushed inside—only to discover the Kryptonite he'd prepared against Superman had been stolen.
The bullet-proof glass container lay shattered.
Inside, a batarang was embedded—Batman had taken the Kryptonite.
Lex's mind raced; whether Batman knew the truth was unclear,
but he had to accelerate his plan or he'd be finished.
Lex hurried from the complex straight to the Kryptonianship wreck.
Five Kryptonian fingerprints on his hand unlocked the vessel's door.
Those prints had been skinned from a Kryptonian's fingers.
He stepped into a pool-like chamber and approached the terminal.
With a press,
the next instant,
a mechanical female voice spoke.
"Analysis shows thirty-seven percent systems restored. Do you wish to issue a command?"
"Yes, I do."
Lex nodded eagerly. "Yes, I do!"
"Teach me the Kryptonian knowledge stored on this ship!"
Lex shouted. Aboard the Kryptonian ship,
Lex Luthor dragged the Kryptonian corpse inside,
then submerged it in the pool.
Other Kryptonian samples were out of reach—Mora Group had collected them all.
Only this derelict vessel, snared by Earth's gravity and crashed from space, had given him the chance.
Lex dripped his own blood into the pool—
his genetic material would fuse with Kryptonian DNA to create a monstrous abomination.
"Warning: this action is prohibited. Kryptonian law expressly forbids combining Kryptonian genes with—"
the terminal cautioned.
But Lex Luthor couldn't care less about Krypton's rules.
If it could kill Superman, it would be the finest creation ever.
