Chapter 71: Plant Evolution
Zhang Xuan clapped his hands and brushed the dust off his clothes and pants with crisp movements.
With a slight thought, his body floated up and flew rapidly back the way he came.
As he approached the target airspace, ripples suddenly appeared in the air, and the hatch of a cloaked quinjetrevealed itself. Zhang Xuan accelerated and flew lightly into the cabin.
As soon as his feet touched the deck, a cool breeze swept over him.
Gordon handed him an energy drink: "You've worked hard, Commander. It's truly shameful that we still need you to step in; if it were us, it might have taken several more months to fight our way here."
Zhang Xuan waved his hand and said nonchalantly, "It's all for the great cause of World peace. I'll set aside more time for such things in the future."
...Back at the Base, the first thing Zhang Xuan did, as usual, was to check on the jasmine flower he had personally accelerated.
Now, it was no longer an ordinary jasmine flower; it had evolved into a jasmine tree nearly two meters tall.
With lush foliage and layers of small white flowers covering the branches, its elegant fragrance filled the hardcore military Base.
Zhang Xuan had specifically used a transparent barrier to wall off this area, fearing that the "rough fellows" coming in and out of the Base might accidentally damage this delicate flower demon.
The stump was already twenty centimeters thick, with solid wood and clear grain, showcasing its vigorous vitality.
Sonic probes showed that its root system was far more impressive than what was visible on the surface. The taproot went over ten meters deep into the ground, while the lateral and fibrous roots were as dense as ginseng, penetrating deep into the soil.
Over the past month, Zhang Xuan had spent most of his nights accelerating the evolution of the jasmine tree.
Now, the jasmine tree had quietly grown to three meters tall, with a canopy like a cloud reaching four meters at its widest point, becoming a reassuring miniature secret realm.
To accommodate this, the original partition was expanded outward, and some of the surrounding original buildings were even demolished.
During this time, he also farmed quite a few passives by dealing with those disgraced concubines and female criminals who were like "faded flowers."
Although the process wasn't honorable, for the sake of power, some costs were worth it.
[thousands of gullies and ravines: 288/1000]
Although he felt a bit guilty, it was harmless; compared to the Immortal Venerable and the Human Material, he was much kinder... Feeling a bit bored at the Base, Zhang Xuan boarded a private plane that day and headed straight for the HYDRA Base in Sokovia.
Due to his previous planning, this stronghold hadn't suffered a retaliatory strike from Tony Stark—even though that genius was still buried in his lab, day and night iterating on his armor.
Walking into the Base, Zhang Xuan immediately saw Wanda sitting in the office.
Her hair was messy and loose, her eyes filled with exhaustion and confusion, but even more so with irritability and a sense of grievance.
Upon seeing Zhang Xuan, Wanda seemed to have finally found someone to lean on. She threw herself into his arms, pouting with a choked voice:
"Hubby... why are these people always like this? They clearly have enough to eat and wear, yet they still won't stop making trouble..."
Zhang Xuan gently stroked her back with steady, tender movements. He whispered into her ear:
"Come, hubby will explain it to you in detail."
After two hours of deep conversation, Wanda lay gently against Zhang Xuan's chest, her fingertips unconsciously tracing the folds of his collar as she replayed everything that had happened recently in her mind.
"Hubby, you're right." Her voice was very soft, yet it carried the strength of a firm decision. "It's time... to strike another heavy blow."
Zhang Xuan's fingertips ran through her slightly messy long hair, his movements gentle yet firm.
"If you can implement these ideas, this place will eventually welcome true peace, just like the region managed by Ethan."
During these two hours of detailed explanation, Wandagradually saw her past limitations.
She saw the problems, understood the crux of the matter, and finally realized that to end the chaos, the root causes of the chaos had to be eliminated.
To summarize: eliminate the people who raise the problems and those who cause them.
"It's good that you've figured it out." Zhang Xuan lowered his head and kissed her lips, his tone carrying a hint of helplessness. "The habits of this land are too old... fragmented and divided, they've never understood the value of 'unification'."
He looked out the window. Under the moonlight, this land known as the "European Chessboard" seemed forever trapped in a cycle of fragmentation and conflict.
In a small territory, dozens of states stood tall, with constant warfare for thousands of years.
Zhang Xuan then asked: "Where are Genos and Might Guy now? How is the New Era organization they established doing?"
Mwah.
Wanda stood up, her lips parting from Zhang Xuan's, and brought over a projection device.
"Look, these red dots are branches of their organization. There are now people from the New Era organization in various European countries, but there are only these many branches."
"A few days ago, they were designated as a terrorist organization by the EU and faced heavy suppression."
"Fortunately, Genos is strong enough to provide timely rescue in various places; otherwise, half of the red strongholds you see today would have disappeared."
Zhang Xuan got the gist of the situation, then looked at the bottom of the projection, where the red dots didn't seem to glow.
"Where is this point?"
Wanda looked at the point Zhang Xuan was pointing to and slapped him.
"Do you have a death wish?"
Zhang Xuan saw the red dot change, so he clicked on it to check carefully, attempting to find clues... The next day, Wanda heartlessly abandoned him, kicking the disobedient him out of bed.
After Wanda got dressed, she went to implement the plan she had gotten from him last night.
Zhang Xuan was helpless and could only find some people who liked him for academic exchanges.
However, their academic level was very low; even combined, they couldn't withstand Zhang Xuan's solo verbal battle against the masses.
By the time Wanda returned, Zhang Xuan had finished cleaning up early, and the debate arena was spotless.
He also exchanged thoughts with the newly returned Wanda about the results achieved today.
Wanda thought for a moment before saying: "Mm... everything went very smoothly today, although many people spoke out in opposition."
"But using your method, hubby, they quickly stopped opposing and even kept saying it was a good policy."
"As expected, you're the best, hubby... Here's a kiss~"
Having finished with that issue, Zhang Xuan took Wandaalong.
Zhang Xuan once again lived a peaceful life; as for whether the outside World was peaceful, that was none of his concern.
However, quite a few orphans had been collected during this time. Zhang Xuan saw reports from various places saying that the orphanages were short on beds.
Zhang Xuan looked at the nearly completed Red RoomOrphanage on the report, stroking his chin as he pondered how to provide a stable food supply and other various provisions.
But there was never a suitable method; besides building roads, they could only use planes to transport goods.
Finally, Zhang Xuan decided to establish a new large-scale orphanage on the border between Mongolia and the East, importing vegetables directly from Huaxia—plentiful and convenient in terms of transportation.
Besides, the trash in Mongolia could be easily handled, and it would be impossible for foreign powers to interfere.
No sooner said than done; Zhang Xuan issued orders to the girls of the Red Room.
When the girls saw the message, they all became like deflated balloons, completely limp.
They looked at the message sent by their Master with weary hearts.
Chapter 72: Fitz's Reasoning
As if he had no understanding of those lousy bosses who only talk but never do anything themselves, working their subordinates to death, Zhang Xuan casually finished giving his orders and began to handle the affairs of the S.H.I.E.L.D. branch.
Once everything was properly arranged, Zhang Xuanfinally found something that piqued his interest:
"To think Maria Hill actually led that bald guy from the black ops faction to escape and then vanished!"
He clicked on the details and carefully reviewed the relevant reports.
In the surveillance footage, Hill was leading Hawkeyeand over a dozen S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents in a grand operation to rescue the leader of that black ops faction.
Judging from the site layout and operational details, Zhang Xuan knew perfectly well that this group had clearly been preparing for this for a long time.
Especially that massive iron block weighing twenty tons, specifically used to suppress Nick Fury; he had only managed to install it with the help of a helicopter.
The people at S.H.I.E.L.D. really were something; even under these circumstances, they could still pull off a surprise.
They had actually researched and developed new technological means specifically to complete this project.
Several Agents were seen clutching uniquely shaped instruments emitting a mysterious glow. They pressed them against the massive iron block and, with a forceful lift, the incredibly heavy slab was slowly raised.
Next, Hawkeye carried the leader of the black ops faction on his back while Hill provided cover.
As for the unlucky souls who did the heavy lifting, they stayed behind in that forest to cover the escape of the three.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk... what a pity!" Looking at the corpse of a S.H.I.E.L.D. girl on the screen—now ten pounds heavier thanks to the arriving S.H.I.E.L.D. agents—Zhang Xuancouldn't help but feel a pang of regret.
He sighed to himself, "Tsk! Such a pretty and cute young girl, how could she be so foolish as to choose to side with S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Subsequently, according to HYDRA's powerful intelligence network, it was no surprise that the three escapees could not be found.
"Tsk, this black guy hides quite deeply; those safe houses weren't built for nothing."
Picking up the phone, Zhang Xuan prepared to call Sitwell, the current head of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The phone was picked up after just one ring.
"Commander, what are your orders?" Sitwell asked eagerly.
"Pay attention to the armory's defenses these next few days. Implement a strategy of one man every ten steps and a sentry every five. Rotate shifts every two hours so everyone can take turns resting."
"Everyone must show their face for a facial scan during handovers. Only after confirmation is everything okay can they go rest."
Sitwell: "Yes, Commander."
Zhang Xuan thought for a moment and then continued, "Are there two people named Fitz and Simmons over at S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Sitwell: "Commander, please wait a moment."
"Someone, check these two for me: Fitz and Simmons."
Soon, Sitwell sent back word.
"Commander, I've found them. These two are Level 3 Agents, fairly new to the job. They are currently conducting research at a S.H.I.E.L.D. research branch. Do you need..."
Zhang Xuan quickly said, "No, capture them alive. Don't worry about the others, just take these two."
"Remember to be cautious. After you take them, strip them."
Sitwell nodded, "Understood. A woman will handle Simmons' clothes."
"Send them directly to me in Sokovia."
"Understood, Commander."
Sitwell waited for the dial tone before taking the phone away from his ear.
He then immediately ordered, "Prepare for the capture operation. Get a fifty-man unit in position. No, make it a hundred-man force."
With the order issued, a force of over a hundred fully armed elite HYDRA members flew toward the distant research branch where Fitz and Simmons were located aboard several quinjets.
Unaware of the situation, the two were preparing to go out for a late-night snack with several other researchers to fill their stomachs.
"Simmons, the food at this Chinese restaurant is excellent; you must give it a try later. You're too thin; I'm afraid you'll faint right in the middle of your research."
Said Hank, who was in charge of leading their research.
Hearing her colleague's words, Simmons shook her head. "But I really can't muster much interest in eating. I think drinking some nutritional supplements would be fine."
Fitz, beside her, said nothing, merely frowning at the menu written entirely in Chinese.
"Fitz, maybe you need this menu with pictures? You don't know Chinese." A colleague handed Fitz a large picture menu.
But Fitz stubbornly refused to accept it. "No, Hank, I've already figured out the meaning of these two characters."
"I traced them back to their ancient versions and then performed the translation."
"Look at this. I like eating fish, so I'm going to order this dish."
Hank looked awkwardly at the fish-fragrant shredded pork Fitz was pointing at, wanting to say there was no fish in it.
However, since Fitz kept rambling on with his analysis, Hank decided to give the kid a lesson.
"Look, you trace this back like this, then like this and this, and finally it becomes this—that's 'fish'. Then look at the third character; trace it like this and that, and the conclusion is that this is a dish related to fish meat."
The other two female colleagues clapped, though they followed Hank's advice and ordered two different dishes.
When the food finally arrived, the waiter brought the fish-fragrant shredded pork to the table.
Hank placed the fish-fragrant shredded pork in front of Fitz.
Fitz asked in confusion, "Hank, why are you giving me this red medley of vegetables and shredded meat? And weren't all the dishes supposed to be placed on the table for everyone to share?"
Seeing Fitz like this, Hank said with a hint of smugness, "This is that 'fish meat' you ordered."
Fitz was puzzled, pointing at the red medley. "The only thing this has in common with fish seems to be that they both came out of the kitchen."
Hank remarked, "Chinese culture is profound and extensive. Hahaha—"
Fitz could only put on a look of utter disbelief. He was crushed and fuming with frustration.
After the little interlude, the final dish, Tomato Beef Brisket, was served, and everyone prepared to start eating.
Simmons, who usually didn't care for eating, had wanted to try the dishes as they were being served, but Hank had said they had to wait until everything arrived.
Hank: "Everyone, let's eat. Once you've taken some food, move your chopsticks away from the plate; don't pull the whole dish in front of you." Hank pointed at one of the girls. "I'm talking to you, Meina. Put down the Braised Pork Belly."
Meina aggrievedly put down the large bowl of Braised Pork Belly.
"Dig in."
Everyone used chopsticks if they could; those who couldn't used cutlery.
"Bang!"
A sound that Americans grow up hearing rang out.
The group exchanged glances for a quarter of a second, then began searching for the source of the sound, preparing to run to safety by the half-second mark.
A second later, something happened that filled them with despair.
A large group of fully armed men flooded in through the front door, the back, and the kitchen.
What made them truly despair was that these people were clearly coming for them—it certainly wasn't for the Asian international students next door, right?
Chapter 73: The Old Popsicle
Several people raised their hands, some still clutching forks that didn't even have braised pork on them.
Surrounded by three layers of people holding guns, none of them dared to move; they didn't even try to catch the braised pork when it fell off their forks.
Once they were surrounded, Sitwell stepped forward, seeing there was no danger.
"Everyone, please come with us."
"Can I ask why I'm being arrested?" asked Hank, the leader.
Sitwell explained, "The items you developed recently were used in illegal activities and threatened national security. We are taking you back for investigation."
Hank glanced at Fitz and sighed, "Alright, we'll cooperate. I just hope you won't hurt them."
Sitwell nodded. "Of course, as long as you cooperate."
"Take them away."
Several people were handcuffed and led outside.
"Wait, let them settle the bill." Sitwell even thoughtfully had them pay, then said to the waiter, "Hello, please pack this up for me."
The arrested group looked at Sitwell speechlessly. They spent the money but only got one bite; it was simply... heinous.
The unlucky Fitz didn't even get a single bite, only able to watch as the 'fish' he ordered was taken away.
Sitwell loved this—enjoying gourmet food alone while watching a group of weak, helpless people being toyed with by his subordinates.
The performance of his subordinates bullying the weak was his best side dish. Everyone was excited, including Hank and another male colleague who joined in.
A World where only Fitz was afraid was born.
Weak and helpless, he confessed everything just to avoid being humiliated.
"I'll talk, I'll tell you everything."
"It was Coulson. He found me and said there was a mole in S.H.I.E.L.D. and needed my help. I couldn't resist and agreed to their request."
Seeing several large men leaning in, Fitz's face turned even paler. His mouth was like he'd taken truth serum, and the truth just kept pouring out.
Fitz: ୧(˃᷄﹏˂᷅٥)୨
"I helped them build an Anti-gravity Device. Just a few people can lift a 30-ton weight."
"They provided the anti-gravity technology; I just compressed it into a smaller volume."
"..."
Sitwell smiled and said, "He's performing so well, aren't you going to give him a reward?"
Fitz: ∑(°Д°;≡;°д°)
"You can't do this! My eyes! Ah, my eyes!"
From then on, Fitz became a S.H.I.E.L.D. member hidden within HYDRA. Despite everything, Fitz was actually quite happy.
Aside from the occasional harassment, there didn't seem to be anything else unacceptable.
"If it were a beautiful female Agent harassing me, I might be even happier?"
Every time he faced a burly man inviting him for a drink at a bar, he could only strongly refuse again and again.
Although he had only watched Hank and those people brawl on the ship that day, those events made him miss the beautiful girls in S.H.I.E.L.D. even more... They were transported to a HYDRA Base.
They were transported to the Red Room Base... Two days later, Zhang Xuan, who was busy with government affairs, received a call from Sitwell.
Zhang Xuan knew Sitwell usually wouldn't call him, so he hesitated for a moment before picking up.
"Commander, there's an emergency."
Zhang Xuan didn't stop his pen and continued handling business, saying calmly, "Speak."
"Commander, that bastard Nick Fury somehow gathered a group of underworld forces and captured one of our strongholds. They have various abilities, and our people at the stronghold suffered because they lacked intelligence."
Zhang Xuan thought for a moment and asked, "There wouldn't happen to be someone named Nick Cage, would there?"
Sitwell replied, "The Commander is truly a modern-day Zhuge Liang to know even this. However, this person calls himself Luke Cage."
"But the records show his name is indeed Nick Cage. We suspect he is Nick Fury's illegitimate son, as their skin color is exactly the same."
After speaking, Zhang Xuan realized his slip of the tongue, but since Sitwell had provided him with an out, he naturally went along with it.
"Besides Nick Cage, who else is there?"
Sitwell: "The rest of the underworld forces were kept within the Base; only about a dozen people escaped."
Zhang Xuan mused, "Nick Fury is indeed impressive, being able to hide so many people behind our backs."
"Where are those S.H.I.E.L.D. loyalists from before?"
Sitwell answered, "Our people are keeping them under surveillance at all times. Agent May disappeared with Coulson's team two months ago; there are some high-level Agents among them."
"Our people have already infiltrated their ranks, but their positions are low, so the intelligence they can gather is limited."
Zhang Xuan: "Then leak some flaws to them and let them find their way here through those flaws."
Sitwell complied, "Understood, Commander. We will handle it."
Zhang Xuan instructed again, "Remember, be steady. If 100 people are needed, send 200. If you encounter any trouble, call me and I will go there personally. I don't want anyone to pose a threat to my organization."
"Yes, Commander."
Zhang Xuan hung up and focused on government affairs. There had been a lot lately, with many things waiting for him to delegate... Meanwhile, an expedition team in the North Pole, after surviving a narrow escape from a geological disaster in the snow, sat where they were, enjoying a peaceful moment after the disaster.
Suddenly, a teammate shouted.
"Look! What's that?"
The others turned to look and saw an ice sculpture that was clearly an airplane.
The Captain took out binoculars and looked toward the airplane.
"Everyone, advance toward the plane."
Soon, they spent several minutes traveling a few hundred meters, trying to avoid the many dangers on the road.
Reaching the plane, they saw a blurry logo.
"Is that Captain America's symbol?"
"Yes, and it's said that Captain America crashed his plane in the North Pole. I guess this is it."
"Really? Then how much can Captain America be sold for?"
The Captain interrupted his money-grubbing teammates.
"Let's dig first. If it really is Captain America, we might make a fortune."
As soon as these words were spoken, all the teammates were no longer tired or sleepy; their original scientific curiosity was replaced by a desire to make money.
A few hours later, when they saw the frozen Captain America, they were all grinning from ear to ear.
Some cheered while others calculated.
It wasn't until two days later, when HYDRA came to take over Captain America, that the Captain was the only one left in the entire adventure group.
"Here's your card. The money is inside. The password is..."
Taking the card, the Captain revealed a satisfied smile.
Chapter 74: A Misshapen Old Popsicle
Busy Sitwell, wrapped in a thick coat, hurried into the ice-plane as if he'd struck gold.
The moment they saw Old Popsicle, every HYDRA Agentbroke into amused grins.
The Captain, bank-card in hand, had been about to leave—and simply walked out.
A considerate HYDRA escort politely reunited the expedition leader with his team.
"Their devotion is enviable; as long as the North Poledoesn't melt, they'll stay together forever."
"Indeed, enviable—spending a whole lifetime with your best friends."
Sitwell bowed toward the snow-pit, thanking the expedition for their 'contribution'.
"Give them a proper burial."
"Yes, sir."
At his order the Agents shoveled snow, entombing the bodies and raising a three-metre monument stamped with Captain America's shield. When Old Popsiclereached HYDRA's secret Base, Zhang Xuan rushed over.
Studying the body, Zhang asked Sitwell, "When do you think he'll wake?"
Sitwell blinked. "Marshal, he's dead. He won't wake."
Zhang wagged a finger. "No-no-no, he's alive. Keep him at room temperature and he'll open his eyes."
After a long pause Sitwell asked, "Should we finish him off?"
Zhang's grin turned wicked. "We save him, then leak word to S.H.I.E.L.D."
"Once Nick Fury knows, he'll move heaven and earth to grab him."
Sitwell picked up the thread: "Then we wipe out their people and rid ourselves of S.H.I.E.L.D. for good?"
"No." Zhang vetoed it. "We kill most of them, let the survivors escape—and let them take the Captain."
Sitwell frowned. "Why? Shouldn't we wipe them out completely?"
Zhang spoke like a seasoned veteran: "Adversity breeds vigilance; comfort courts ruin. Let them lurk in the shadows, reminding us to watch every detail—details decide victory."
Sitwell found the logic disjointed, but nodded in praise anyway.
"Marshal, you're… thorough." Realizing Zhang's murderous glare, he quickly corrected: "Marshal, your caution will unite the World under us."
Zhang withdrew his glare, satisfied, and eyed the supine Old Popsicle.
"After thawing, implant micro-trackers all over him—enough to fatten him by a pound."
Sitwell did the math on the weight of micro-circuits, estimating how many trackers made a pound.
"Er—Marshal, each is 3 g; we'll need 166 trackers. Isn't that excessive?"
"Add them—only 166," Zhang insisted, determined to turn Captain into HYDRA property.
"But don't hinder his movement. Arrange the trackers on his back to form our emblem."
Sitwell's smile turned playful; he gazed at Old Popsiclelike a proud parent… Days later, while HYDRAtransported Captain America, a reckless truck slammed into the convoy and the cryo-unit flew out.
Pedestrians fled—only those nearby, seeing no explosion, approached the tumbling capsule.
"My God—is that Captain America?"
"I swear, it's him—frozen all this time."
"Those bastards in government must've experimented on him; even his corpse can't rest."
"His ghost is cursing America—that's why we're stuck sniffing this junk on the streets."
"It's their plot—hook us on drugs while they lounge in big Villas."
"I'll expose them and bring justice—my follower count will explode."
Within minutes dozens were filming; if the capsule could open, some girls would've yanked him out for content their fandom craves.
Still, imagination sufficed; clips and photos spread like wildfire online.
Less than an hour later S.H.I.E.L.D. moved in, scrubbing every trace… witnesses were left as breadcrumbs.
Inside an unknown Villa, Nick Fury—browsing a certain mysterious 'mature' site—jumped when the door burst open and slammed the laptop shut.
"Director, you need to see this."
Coulson, flustered, handed over saved videos and photos.
"Coulson, I told you—our Agents must stay calm. What's with the panic?"
Nick Fury skimmed the files Coulson offered.
"Sorry, sir, I overstepped—next time I'll—"
"Mother—!" Fury erupted. "Coulson, why am I hearing this now? Move—fast!"
Coulson, trailing, muttered behind him: "Damn mother-f— black—"
Fury doubled back, wiped the browser history, then—unsure—formatted the drive, ripped it out and pocketed it.
Still uneasy about his browsing habits surfacing, he dismantled the disk entirely.
HYDRA Agents kept the witness's apartment bugged round the clock.
Days of oh-oh-ah-ahs, three-hundred-pound 'fairies' roaring, plus occasional pearls of wisdom.
"So what?"
"They're different."
"Where's your compassion?"
"Ahhh—!"
They rotated crews every few days to endure the three-hundred-pound fairy channel.
At last came the familiar voices they'd waited for.
"Hello, ma'am."
"Who are you calling ma'am?"
Coulson eyed the figure. "You're… male?"
"Why assume I'm male?"
Nick Fury's face darkened. "A lady-boy, then?"
"You— you— you—"
"On what grounds do you gender me?"
"Bleep—!"
Chapter 75: Nick Fury's Money Pit
Coulson: I've encountered an idiot.
Nick Fury: Get inside, quickly. I have a hundred ways to make him admit he's a ladyboy.
At Nick Fury's signal, Coulson pushed the door open and pinned the ladyboy down.
"You guys... mmph mmph..."
Nick Fury closed the door behind them, giving the homeless man outside a fierce glare that sent him fleeing in terror.
"Now, please tell us about this photo and video."
Having asked the question, Coulson ripped the tape off the woman's mouth.
"You're discriminating against my gender! Even if you're Captain America, I'll sue you for gender discrimination, racial discrimination, and freedom discrimination!"
Coulson covered his ears, distancing himself from this person of unknown gender.
Nick Fury walked up with a dark expression. Looking at the screaming person of undefinable gender, he delivered two sharp slaps first.
"You!—"
Before the gender-challenged person could say anything else, Nick Fury followed up with a series of flying kicks.
Finally, he grabbed the head of the person whose gender might be an Apache attack helicopter and asked:
"Speak. Where was this video filmed?"
The woman, bleeding from the corner of her mouth after the beating, finally admitted she was a woman.
"I... I am... a woman. You're actually beating a woman... I'm going to sue you for discrimination against women..."
Nick Fury: (̿▀beneficial▀ ̿‧̣̥̇)̄
"Motherf*cker!"
Finally, on the brink of death, the woman answered Nick Fury's question.
"This... this is a story about a big truck and a small truck."
...Nick Fury didn't get a real answer. He left with a dark face to check on Coulson's progress.
However, he was disappointed. Coulson had no gains either; they returned empty-handed today.
Fortunately, in the following days, after other witnesses heard news about the death of the 'little fairy' witness, they became very cooperative.
Subsequently, Coulson began to organize useful intelligence, separating true and false reports.
You know, some people always love to say extra things after getting high.
For instance, one person claimed Captain America had four arms.
And there was the news that Captain America could control ice.
Oh, this one might be true; Coulson reserved judgment on it.
Perhaps the Captain learned the magic ability to control freezing at the last moment, eventually sealing himself in ice to wait for future generations to thaw him out.
"Director, it's now confirmed that the intel on Captain America's remains is real. Therefore, we must rescue the Captain as soon as possible. We can't let his great body remain with those traitors.
Otherwise, if the Captain is deceived, it could cause an unpredictable disaster for the U.S."
Nick Fury sat calmly like a veteran fisherman, flipping through information on the computer with a composed mind.
Seeing this, Coulson couldn't help but admire the Director's stability. Even in this situation, the Director was still the Director—steady as an old dog.
Nick Fury's fingers kept scrolling through an elderly dating site for search results of 'old, very old, even older women.'
Since Coulson was facing away from the screen, he couldn't see what Nick Fury was doing and assumed the Director was reviewing intelligence.
At that moment, Nick Fury found an appealing old Black woman. Her profile read: 56 years old, 300 kg, slightly plump, picks one lucky viewer daily.
He clicked in and chose to favorite the'slightly plump little fairy.' Then he said to Coulson:
"Coulson, we are Agents. Endurance is our specialty, calmness is our trait, and stability is our essence."
"So go now and perform a careful analysis and summary. Finally, think hard about the logical loopholes in your reasoning."
"Also, calm down that restless heart of yours after seeing Captain America, and look carefully for any inconsistencies here."
Being watched by the Director's single eye, Coulsonlowered his head in shame and apologized:
"Yes, Director. I will analyze it thoroughly."
"Mhm. Go down and think it over. I also need to prepare for our plan."
Nick Fury glanced at the location of the 56-year-old, 300 kg,'slightly plump fairy.' He prepared to investigate; surely there would be some gains.
Looking at the Director's broad back, Coulson felt only endless regret for being so impulsive... While Nick Furywas indulging in dreams of dark fatty meat, Coulsonactually found some clues.
"This is very wrong. This truck driver seems to have been staged, crashing straight into it."
Coulson watched the surveillance footage and noticed something off about the driver. On an urban road like this, why would a truck driver be going so fast?
"And looking at the footage, the defense of the truck transporting Captain America was too low. How could Captain America's stasis pod fly right out?"
"This doesn't match their operational style. They are always cautious and make full preparations for every action. It's impossible they'd use such a crude truck to transport Captain America."
Coulson wanted to message the Director, but after calling several times and getting no answer, he grew increasingly anxious.
Nick Fury had silenced his phone again, returning to the embrace of the dark, greasy flesh.
"dear, is it really okay not to answer the phone? It seems like something very important."
A voice came from the other side of the mountain of dark flesh, but no head was visible.
Nick Fury nuzzled in enjoyably and said:
"It's fine. Leaders always have many things to be busy with. It's normal not to answer; it's a test for subordinates."
"Besides, if they can't solve problems without me, then what do I need them for?"
"dear, let's go one more time."
Hearing this, the fat Black woman gave Nick Fury a coquettish pinch: "You little devil."
Nick Fury: "I'm not a little devil, I'm a lustful devil, jie jie jie—"
...Meanwhile, Sitwell was digging a pit for the arrival of Captain America's teammates.
He had to leave behind the ordinary S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel while safely sending those high-level S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents away. This was difficult even for him.
"Over there, reduce the manpower. Over there, set up a few more anti-explosion machine guns."
"You bastards over there, don't do it in the corner, I can see you from here."
With great effort, Sitwell sighed as he finished setting up the ambush site, just waiting for those S.H.I.E.L.D.bastards to arrive... A few hours later, just as Coulson was about to tell Hill the news that the Director had gone missing again.
The number labeled 'Black Watcher' finally called him.
"Coulson, what is it?"
Coulson: "Director, you finally called back. I thought something had happened to you again."
Nick Fury: "I'm fine. I was just meeting with our undercover team members and got some news."
Coulson: "As expected of the Director, to still have informants inside the heavily guarded S.H.I.E.L.D."
Chapter 76: Rescuing the Captain
Nick Fury said proudly, "Of course. I've received word that it's possible Captain America is still alive, just frozen."
Coulson was overjoyed upon hearing this. "Director, is what you're saying true?"
This news was something Nick Fury had deduced himself. Combining past data and information, he analyzed the possibility that Captain America might still be alive.
"Coulson, you're losing your composure again. Besides, I said it's a possibility; there are no hundred-percent certainties in this World."
Hearing the criticism, Coulson offered his own analysis:
"Director, I think this might be a trap. There are many things about this incident that don't feel right, for example..."
After hearing Coulson's analysis, Nick Fury nodded immediately, agreeing with his assessment.
He then shamelessly added, "Your analysis is correct. My informant mentioned this as well. You've done well, Coulson."
Coulson was very pleased with Nick Fury's praise:
"It's all thanks to you, Director. If it weren't for your teachings on analyzing things calmly, I wouldn't have discovered so many suspicious points."
Nick Fury guiltily changed the subject. "Alright, I'll give this matter some serious thought. You should take a break and relax."
Upon hearing this, Coulson said somewhat anxiously, "But Director, shouldn't we rescue the Captain as soon as possible? Perhaps we can beat them at their own game."
Nick Fury was busy going to see his next 250kg'sugar baby' and didn't have time to say more to Coulson.
"Alright, Coulson, I'm the Director here. Right now, your task is to get ready and adjust your mindset. Finally, get the weapons ready and be prepared to follow me for the rescue mission at any time."
Hearing this, Coulson really wanted to slam the door, but he held back.
"Understood, Director."
After successfully pulling rank, Nick Fury went to find his black'sugar baby' for some mental and physical comfort and advice.
"Ever since being locked up for over half a year, my soul has become even more starved for affection, just like when I was a kid."
Fury grumbled a complaint and drove away.
Three days later.
Sitwell looked at the dust-covered floor and the nearly thawed Captain, feeling anxious.
"What's wrong with these S.H.I.E.L.D. people? They know Captain America is here, so why haven't they come yet?"
Unable to wait any longer, Sitwell checked the time. Thinking his Great Commander probably wasn't busy with serious business, he made a call.
When the call connected, Sitwell heard some sounds and felt like he might have called at a bad time.
"Great Commander, did I call at a bad time?"
Zhang Xuan: "No, you came... tell me what's going on."
Zhang Xuan almost misspoke, but fortunately, he corrected himself.
This was thanks to the horn of the female rider behind him. If she hadn't been trying to overtake him in the narrow lane, he would have forgotten he was currently racing.
Zhang Xuan quickly adjusted the handlebars, bringing the motorcycle back onto the original Track 10.
Sitwell: "Great Commander, our plan might have been seen through. Do we need to formulate a new one?"
Zhang Xuan twisted the throttle, overtaking Rider 13 ahead of him before replying to Sitwell:
"You guys decide. Just remember not to hurt Hill or Hawkeye."
After speaking, Zhang Xuan hurriedly hung up the phone and gave himself a slap.
"I'm racing, how can I be distracted?" However, the slap landed on his helmet, which didn't show even a hint of damage.
He then twisted the throttle to the max, intending to overtake the several riders in front in one go.
Seeing Zhang Xuan hang up and look serious about the race, the riders ahead provocatively licked their lips and gave him a massive eye-roll.
Seeing this, Zhang Xuan felt his dignity had been insulted, and his mouth quirked to the side.
He used telekinesis to make himself float, reducing the weight on the motorcycle. Instantly, the bike's speed shot up significantly.
Seeing this, the other female riders scrambled to get away, but there was only one track—there was no escaping. They would be caught sooner or later.
"Jie jie jie—leave none behind!"
The riders gave the chuunibyou Zhang Xuan a massive eye-roll... After receiving the message, Sitwell began to mobilize the power of HYDRA. He was going to set a massive trap, waiting for those S.H.I.E.L.D. people to jump right in.
Three days later.
Nick Fury walked at the very front with unsteady steps, charging forward while facing the bullets of the S.H.I.E.L.D. members.
Coulson and Hill were firing from cover behind him, occasionally advancing a few steps.
Nick Fury: "Young people, you should learn how to spell the word 'courage.' Look at me; my courage makes them afraid to even shoot at me."
Coulson grumbled, "Courage, Valor, Bravery, Guts—those are the words for courage. How is it just two letters?"
Hill, who had been cramming Chinese, added, "In Chinese, 'courage' is two characters."
At this moment, the S.H.I.E.L.D. crowd had this expression on their faces:
[Old-man-on-the-subway-looking-at-his-phone.jpg]
S.H.I.E.L.D. Member A: "Can't this idiot even try to take cover? It's actually harder NOT to hit such an obvious target, okay?"
S.H.I.E.L.D. Member B: "Motherfucker, this bastard is really something. If it weren't for the leader's orders, I'd really want to just take him out."
S.H.I.E.L.D. Member C: "I can't take it anymore. Someone shoot me so I can faint."
S.H.I.E.L.D. Member D: "Let's shoot each other. That way we can faint legitimately. I'm really tired of looking at this bastard."
Other members: "Same here, same here."
Soon, with the S.H.I.E.L.D. members playing dead, Nick Fury successfully made off with the hibernation pod containing Captain America.
Why wasn't it a slow-thaw device?
Sitwell: "It's all because of that group of idiots. Who knows what the hell they were doing, not showing up sooner."
Captain America had almost finished thawing over the past few days. To delay his awakening, they had to put him back into a hibernation pod to be frozen again.
Ten minutes later, after confirming there were no living S.H.I.E.L.D. agents left in the shadows, Sitwell finally gave the order:
"Everyone assemble. Confirm casualties."
A man looking like an Officer stepped forward and shouted, "Sound off!"
"One."
"Two."
"Three."
..."Seven, eight... Yahoo! Yaooo!"
Perhaps HYDRA's method of sounding off was a bit unique; dozens of people finished counting in less than ten seconds.
The Officer looked around dazed and said directly, "Reporting to the Officer, no one is injured."
Sitwell didn't care about that. He waved his hand and said, "The injured go get treated; those uninjured clean up the mess."
Ignoring the traces left on the battlefield, Sitwell returned to the control room. He felt relieved seeing that the large red dot on the map, composed of 166 small red dots, had suddenly vanished from the streets.
"At least these people know how to use electromagnetic interference. I'd hate for my opponents to be total morons."
Chapter 77: Pacemaker, Not a Ticket to Heaven
"I really want to see their faces when they see the HYDRA logo all over the Captain's back. It must be hilarious."
Sitwell rubbed his hands, imagining the Captain's reaction to finding out he had a HYDRA tattoo on his back.
Sitwell was now preparing to retrieve Bucky Barnes. According to Zhang Xuan's wishes, Captain America was to see Bucky from time to time.
However, they couldn't see each other all the time; it was meant to give Captain America a sense of being close yet far away.
He didn't understand why Bucky Barnes had to go to Tony Stark first, but he didn't need to know such things. He only needed to carry out the Commander's orders well.
A day later, Tony watched as a S.H.I.E.L.D. quinjet ignored Jarvis's inquiries and made a forced landing.
Tony immediately ordered, "Jarvis, issue a warning."
"Yes, sir."
Jarvis politely raised ten Gatling guns from the courtyard's helipad and issued a loud warning.
"Please identify yourselves immediately, or we will take forced measures."
The plane's loudspeaker gave Jarvis no response, so Jarvis began a countdown.
"10, 9, 8, 7..."
"4..."
Just as Jarvis was about to count to 1, the plane's hatch opened, and Sitwell stood at the entrance with his hands raised.
"Sir, please don't shoot. Mr. Zhang Xuan sent me to deliver some goods."
Sitwell pointed to the burly man beside him.
The man had a metal arm. It went without saying who he was, but why would I say it? Because I am good at 'water' battles.
(I forgot the previous parts, so let's just assume Tonydoesn't know Bucky Barnes is still alive.)
Tony's originally calm expression turned fierce, his mind filled with two words—revenge!
Thinking of his mother and father's faces, he felt remorse and trembled. Now he only wanted revenge. Even if that old guy might object, it wouldn't stop him from avenging his mother.
He quickly donned his latest armor and flew through the window toward Bucky inside the cabin.
Seeing this, Sitwell quickly stepped aside, nearly getting caught in the crossfire.
Tony slammed Bucky into the interior of the plane, and after a brief struggle, they flew back out.
Tony's current armor wasn't as advanced as the one in the Civil War, so facing Bucky was still a bit difficult.
In the Civil War, Bucky was holding back against Tony, but the current Bucky was ruthless. His movements were faster and more brutal. Tony had some trouble handling a punch backed by decades of force.
However, this was Tony's home turf.
Realizing he couldn't handle Bucky alone, Tony ordered Jarvis, "Jarvis, deploy all armors."
Various successfully developed drone armors were deployed. Over twenty armors flew out one after another, surrounding Bucky and the S.H.I.E.L.D. quinjet.
"Please allow me to relay the message the Commanderwanted me to pass on."
Without waiting for Tony's consent, Sitwell said, "The Commander says the person has been delivered to you."
After speaking, Sitwell grabbed his sleeve and whispered an urgent command:
"Take off, hurry, take off!"
The quinjet's hatch wasn't even fully closed before it sped away into the distance.
Tony looked at Bucky, who was constantly fighting his armors, and wanted to kill him right then and there.
A minute later, Bucky's arm was torn off by the armors, leaving him to resist with only one arm.
Finally, he was surrounded and captured by the army of armors, and even his mechanical arm was severed by a thermal melt-cutter.
Zhang Xuan didn't know exactly what happened afterward; he only knew that when Tony sent Bucky back, Bucky was a complete wreck.
Bucky's consciousness was left with only one phrase.
"Aba... ababa..."
(The plot requires it; I need to keep Bucky around to mess with Captain America.)
A few days later, inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. underground Base.
Nick Fury watched Captain America's gradually returning heartbeat with great excitement.
But the most excited was Coulson. As Captain America's number one fanboy, the camera around Coulson's neck never stopped clicking.
He was filming Captain America every second.
"Director, should we try electric shock resuscitation? I've seen it work well in movies."
Hearing Hill's suggestion, Nick Fury nodded thoughtfully.
"We can try that. Coulson, go prepare." Getting no response, Nick Fury shouted louder, "Coulson!"
"Huh? Oh? Director, what is it?" Coulson asked dazed, his eyes never leaving Captain America's 'remains'.
"Coulson, you're too obsessed." Seeing Coulson's eyes glued to the Captain, Nick Fury said sourly, "It seems you'd prefer Captain America to be your leader."
Hearing this, Coulson quickly replied, "Director, how could you think that? I'm just too excited."
Coulson turned back to Captain America reluctantly, then forced himself to look at the "dark force" interrupting his view.
"Director, you know me. I don't discriminate against anyone. I don't object to a Black man being our Director."
Coulson added in his mind: Nor do I support it.
Nick Fury's face darkened slightly as he quickly changed the subject:
"Alright, go get two wires and give our leader some stimulation."
Coulson looked incredulous.
"Director, could you say that again? I didn't hear you clearly."
Nick Fury repeated impatiently, "I said, go give Captain America some stimulation."
Nick Fury phrased it differently, and Coulson's face instantly broke into a smile.
Two minutes later, Coulson ran toward Captain Americain the Hibernation Pod holding 220V wires.
Seeing this, Nick Fury and Hill rushed down to stop him.
"Coulson, you son of a bitch, what are you doing?"
"Big Dummy Coulson, stop!"
Originally, what the two of them said was...
But it was too late. Coulson ran too fast. The two 25mm² copper core wires had already pierced into Captain America... Current flowed, a burnt smell rose from the Captain's body, accompanied by thick white smoke.
Fortunately, Nick Fury and Hill arrived in time, and Captain America was only shocked for five seconds.
"Oh my god, there's steam coming off him. Can he still live?" Hill looked at the steam rising from the Captain and felt he might be beyond saving.
Nick Fury looked at the monitoring staff above. They caught his gaze and responded:
"The heartbeat is still there. It's a bit fast, but within the normal range."
Hearing this, both Nick Fury and Hill breathed a sigh of relief.
Coulson was also very happy that he would get to see the Captain America he had admired since childhood.
They dragged Big Dummy Coulson away to the monitoring room above to observe the Hibernation Podand wait for Captain America to wake up on his own.
After a day of rapid heartbeats, Captain America's body began to react, his fingers twitching weakly from time to time.
Hill leaned in and whispered to Nick Fury, away from Coulson, "Director, Captain America wasn't shocked into a vegetative state by Coulson, was he?"
Recalling the Captain's powerful physical data in the records, Nick Fury replied, "Probably not. Let's wait patiently."
Chapter 78: Absorbing the Celestials
Zhang Xuan learned the news that Captain America had been taken away, but he just nodded slightly to show he knew, and then boarded a plane heading to the InzaiHYDRA Base.
He received news that the jasmine tree he had left there had undergone a tremendous change.
Now he had to go conduct an on-site inspection, as it was his beloved jasmine flower.
He was also looking forward to planning out a Jasmine Shooter that could fire jasmine petals.
Upon arriving at the Inzai HYDRA Base, Zhang Xuandidn't delay and went straight to the jasmine tree.
However, before he even arrived, Zhang Xuan was astonished.
Gordon received the news that Zhang Xuan had arrived and rushed towards the jasmine tree.
"Marshal, this jasmine tree suddenly started growing taller yesterday.
It was originally 5 meters tall, but grew to 15 meters within a day, and then grew again to 30 meters.
We could even hear the sound of its branches and trunk growing. For safety, I had everyone move away from this area."
Gordon stood beside Zhang Xuan, explaining his preparations.
Zhang Xuan didn't reply, simply gazing quietly at the jasmine tree, which was 20 meters wide at its broadest point, before walking up to investigate.
"Stay farther away from here; you might get hurt."
Gordon watched Zhang Xuan walk under the shade of the tree and instructed his subordinates: "Everyone, temporarily evacuate the Base."
The order was passed down, and everyone, fully armed, left the perimeter of the Base until Zhang Xuan said they could return.
Zhang Xuan waited under the tree for a while, and only sat up once he saw everyone had evacuated.
Placing his hand on the jasmine tree, he used the Plant Evolution skill.
As the skill activated, Zhang Xuan felt his own power rapidly draining away, with a significant expenditure of stamina.
However, it was still within an acceptable range. After consuming about three-quarters of his stamina, Zhang Xuan chose to disconnect the skill.
The moment he disconnected, the jasmine tree protested, conveying a simple message to Zhang Xuan.
"Still... want..."
Zhang Xuan was still surprised by the response, but he replied, "Tomorrow."
The jasmine flower obediently extended a branch toward Zhang Xuan, though its speed was a little slow.
After the branch reached Zhang Xuan, a white jasmine flower bloomed at its tip.
The jasmine tree once again transmitted a message through perception: "Love you."
Zhang Xuan replied, "Mhm, thank you, I love you too."
After hearing this, the jasmine tree affectionately shook hands with Zhang Xuan.
Zhang Xuan went out to notify Gordon and the others, telling them to return and resume normal Baseoperations.
"Once you return, start transferring some important items. The jasmine flower will likely grow even larger later."
Gordon pondered briefly after hearing this: "Marshal, why don't we build a new Base?"
Zhang Xuan said indifferently, "You decide for yourself. If you need money, go take it from the Black Palace. If they don't approve it, just seize it."
Gordon: "Understood!"
For the next half month, Zhang Xuan pitched a tent and lived underneath the jasmine tree.
Over the span of half a month, Zhang Xuan actually lost five pounds. If he hadn't been exhausted from eating, Zhang Xuan would have tried to replenish it by eating more.
These days, HYDRA's kitchen staff were nearly driven crazy with busyness. Finally, they had no choice but to capture a few Huaxia chefs to cook specifically for Zhang Xuan, which finally gave the original staff time to cook for the HYDRA members.
Three more days passed.
The jasmine tree stopped this time after only absorbing half of his stamina.
"Master, I'm already full."
Zhang Xuan: ( ・ὢ・)୨ "Explain clearly, what is full?"
During this period, the information conveyed by the jasmine tree became clearer, and it spoke more and more.
"I'm just full! But I feel like I'm going to undergo a big change very soon."
Zhang Xuan looked at the crowd behind him and asked the jasmine tree, "Then do they need to leave?"
"No need. I can directly retract the roots inside the Earth; I won't tear up the ground."
Zhang Xuan: "That's great. You can retract and extend them freely."
The jasmine tree grew significantly during this time, but it still couldn't transform into a plant like the Peashooter, instead developing in a taller and larger direction.
Now its height reached 50 meters, making it a very tall tree.
"Master, I see you seem to really like this type. Do you need me to transform into this?"
The jasmine tree's branches transformed into the shape of figurines.
Zhang Xuan looked at Klee and other Loli figurines, quickly put them away, and coughed: "No, no, no, I just really like cute things."
"Then how about this?"
The jasmine flower condensed two more figurines, but this time they were different shapes.
Samui, Tsunade, Aiko Shiraki, Karin Nanase, Fujiko Mine, Goddess Aphrodite, Lucoa, Ilulu... "Alright, that's enough. Combine them into something I prefer."
The jasmine tree transmitted sound again: "Master is so troublesome, making me fuse them."
The next day, a protrusion resembling tree sap condensed at the Base of the jasmine tree's roots.
Zhang Xuan curiously reached out, preparing to touch it to see what it was.
As his finger touched the brownish-yellow object, he suddenly received a startled cry from the jasmine tree.
"Master, don't! It feels so uncomfortable."
Zhang Xuan: "Hmm? What is this thing? Is it a condensed weakness?"
The jasmine tree explained: "No, it's my new body. I can already undergo transformation."
Zhang Xuan wondered: "How long does the transformation take? Do you still need other nutrients?"
The jasmine tree refused: "No need. My branches are currently delving thousands of meters underground to draw nutrients, and I accidentally found a very large energy source."
Zhang Xuan wondered: "Energy source? What kind?"
The jasmine tree replied: "I don't understand it. I just touched a very hard surface underground, and the closer I get to it, the more energy I can absorb."
"Surface? Energy?" Zhang Xuan thought of the Celestials, who rarely appeared in the movies.
Could it be the Celestials' seed on Earth?
Thinking of this, Zhang Xuan had more ideas.
Perhaps he could prevent the birth of the God within Earth without having to snap his fingers.
"Jasmine, absorb properly. Don't undergo transformation for now; focus on absorbing this energy."
Zhang Xuan encouraged Jasmine. He wanted Jasmine to drain this God dry.
"Master, I might not be able to do it. I feel like I'm close to my limit. Jasmine seems unable to grow any further."
Jasmine replied.
Zhang Xuan also understood Jasmine's meaning—that Jasmine's limit had been reached.
He hadn't transferred stamina to Jasmine for a long time; he had only been accompanying her every day.
Jasmine nodded, and then a branch handed over a black flower with streaks of red silk.
"Master, can you evolve it too?"
Zhang Xuan looked at the black lily that Jasmine had just dug up and thought of the black lily he was very fond of.
It's just that playing black lily was more about fate; the critical hit rate when aiming down sights was only 15%.
Chapter 79: Planting the black lily
Zhang Xuan planted the black lily and used the Plant Evolution skill on it.
Visibly, the black lily began to grow larger.
"Master, don't let her get too big. Keep her small. I need to take her underground and absorb nutrients directly there."
Hearing this, Zhang Xuan slightly controlled the direction of the Plant Evolution, preventing it from growing larger, instead allowing it to store energy internally and strengthen itself.
After Zhang Xuan finished, Mòli extended her plant tentacles, completely enveloping the black lily, wrapping it layer upon layer many times.
After it was completely wrapped, Zhang Xuan tested its strength.
"Clang—"
Zhang Xuan didn't use much force, but it was enough to smash the skulls of evil forces.
He punched the branch, and it made a sound like striking metal.
"Mòli, is this your strongest defense right now?"
Mòli replied, "No, Master, I can become even harder. But this level of hardness is enough to go underground."
Zhang Xuan patted the sphere made of numbers: "Take good care of her. From now on, you two will be sisters."
As Mòli sent the black lily underground, she spoke to Zhang Xuan:
"I know, Master. I really like this contrast of distinct colors. When the time comes, we two can stand together like that for Master to take a photo."
Zhang Xuan: Σ (゚Д゚;)
"Did you peek at my manga?"
Mòli said flusteredly, "No, Mòli would never peek at Master's manga. Mòli only cares for Master."
Zhang Xuan: (・ω・`ll) This isn't right. I didn't cultivate her to be like this.
Zhang Xuan lay in the giant flower Mòli had just condensed, stroking the fluffy, sweet stamen inside, occasionally bringing nectar to his mouth to taste some.
Zhang Xuan didn't get a reply from Mòli, assuming she was hiding out of shyness. He just lay on the stamen, occasionally eating some nectar.
At this moment, Mòli went to Zhang Xuan's toy room and grabbed some new building block toys, tossing them into her giant flower.
Zhang Xuan watched the building block toys fall. He didn't bother catching them; they wouldn't break inside such soft petals anyway.
He adjusted his position, dodging most of the toys, but one still landed on him.
Zhang Xuan was helpless. Since they were delivered right to him, he could only play with the blocks alongside Mòli.
Mòli's external plant tentacles constantly flipped through Zhang Xuan's manga collection, occasionally cooperating with Zhang Xuan in assembling and transforming the toys.
After a long while, the two of them constructed a block version of the Pool of Wine and Forest of Meat.
However, Mòli flipped through the manga and wasn't entirely satisfied with this block structure. She retrieved a large pile of blocks, determined to build a large-scale structure that both she and Master would love.
Zhang Xuan never refused a block challenge; there were no blocks he couldn't assemble. Even the Star Destroyerback then only took him a few days to complete.
(I want to buy one, but it's so expensive.)
With Mòli assisting this time, assembling these small toy blocks was incredibly easy.
Zhang Xuan: "One by one. Today, I'll show you what a Block Master is."
Mòli: (✧◡✧)
...Having gained extensive practical footage and manga experience, Mòli couldn't wait to put it into practice.
Unfortunately, her current arms were too rough. Even if Master didn't mind, she did.
"When will I be able to use real hands to assemble blocks? I'm really looking forward to it."
By the time Zhang Xuan took away all the opened and assembled blocks, more than ten hours had passed.
Zhang Xuan, who hadn't slept for many days, prepared to take a nap, but before sleeping, he checked the System Panel.

"Wanda has been too busy lately, only visiting me a few times and leaving immediately the next day, so I've missed out on a lot of stat critical hits."
"Oh right, what are my subordinates up to?"
Zhang Xuan hadn't contacted Sebas and the others for a long time—it had been almost two months.
So Zhang Xuan took out his phone and first called Sebas.
This subordinate was the least worry for him; every time he called, it was a pleasant surprise. This time, he decided to proactively ask for an update.
"Master, how may I be of service?"
Sebas answered the call instantly, his deep voice low and steady.
Zhang Xuan scratched his cheek awkwardly and asked, "Sebas, what are you doing right now? I forgot what I assigned you to do."
Sebas respectfully replied, "Master, two months ago, I went to Australia to assist Sir Genos and Sir Might Kè in Europe."
Zhang Xuan: (。・ˇกˇ・)
"Right... that seems correct. How are things on your end now? I'm currently monitoring and casting control magicon some high-level government officials here."
Zhang Xuan's eyes lit up: "Oh? That should be going smoothly, right? Have you encountered any obstacles?"
Upon saying this, Sebas sighed: "Master, I might have a slight problem. Since arriving here, my desire to kill has grown stronger and stronger."
Hearing this, Zhang Xuan became slightly serious.
Any magic that could affect Sebas must belong to a very dangerous person, and Zhang Xuan couldn't recall anyone else capable of doing this.
Sebas slowly said, "Master, I am growing increasingly impatient with those white leftistss. Every time I interact with them, I become furious."
"This situation has persisted for more than ten days. Every time I deal with these officials and prepare to exert control over them, my condition worsens slightly."
Zhang Xuan was speechless after hearing this, so he asked, "Did you kill them?"
Sebas suppressed his anger, trying his best to maintain a calm tone in front of Zhang Xuan.
Even just talking about it with Zhang Xuan made him feel extremely angry, which, according to his setup, shouldn't be happening.
"No, they are government officials after all, and our foundation is currently weak, so we haven't acted rashly yet."
Hearing this, Zhang Xuan immediately advised: "Sebas, right now, immediately, go kill those white leftistss who make you feel angry just thinking about them."
Sebas hesitated: "Master, isn't that inappropriate? Wouldn't that be showing too little regard for their lives?"
Chapter 80: Paris's Environmental Actions
After hearing this, Zhang Xuan put his finger on his forehead: "Sebas, this is just how you are. I need to enlighten you now."
Sebas seriously awaited his Master's guidance.
"Sebas, what do you think defines a human?"
Sebas was speechless by Zhang Xuan's question. Before he could answer, Zhang Xuan continued.
"Not all humans can be called 'people.' 'People' are humans with normal human brains. Now I ask you, do those 'white leftists' have brains?"
Sebas thought carefully and replied, "Biologically speaking, they still have brains."
Zhang Xuan: "Exactly, biological brains. Now tell me, do those 'white leftists' have brains?"
Sebas answered confidently: "No, they are just Tofu Brains who can only shout slogans and enjoy privileges."
Zhang Xuan: "Exactly, so are people without brains still considered people?"
Sebas: "No."
Zhang Xuan: "Then can you kill them?"
Sebas: "Yes."
Zhang Xuan: "Go ahead. If you're too angry, you can also try to vent some steam."
Sebas was enlightened: "Understood, Master. But I'll skip venting steam; I'll leave some intact for you to farm passive skills."
Zhang Xuan: "No need, I'm afraid stupidity is contagious."
Listening to the dial tone on the other end of the phone, Zhang Xuan felt that Middle Eastern refugees could advance into Europe sooner.
Now Sebas, Sexy Prisoner, Genos, and Might Guy are all in Europe, so who else?
Tobirama? He's in the Red Room's laboratory, diligently conducting research.
Mosquito Girl? She just visited a few days ago, sucked too much blood, and her body grew much larger.
Three-Section Staff Lily? Lily is too young; let her stay with Wanda a bit longer.
It seems there are no more retainers I need to call.
So he called Ethan.
"Ethan, how many refugees have been sent?"
Ethan replied, "Many have been sent, all sterilized."
Zhang Xuan said, "Speed up. It's time to add some conflict to Europe; it's been peaceful there for too long."
Ethan felt refreshed hearing Zhang Xuan say this.
"Yes, Europe has meddled quite a bit in the Middle East's conflicts; it's time to collect some interest."
This time, Zhang Xuan planned to personally visit Europe and see its beautiful scenery.
"Master, black lily has been sent underground. She's growing very fast."
Upon hearing this, Zhang Xuan felt that he should plant more plants, but that would have to wait until he returned.
"Jasmine, take good care of black lily. Later, I'll give both of you an Oreo."
After hearing this, Jasmine extended a tendril and gently rubbed Zhang Xuan's cheek.
"Thank you, Master. I will help black lily absorb more energy as quickly as possible."
"Good girl." Zhang Xuan praised Jasmine. "Jasmine, I'm going out for a while. You two rest well here. If there are any problems, go find Gordon; you know him."
Jasmine obediently nodded her vine: "Okay, Master, please be careful."
"I will."
Zhang Xuan had someone prepare a plane to Europe, but the plane was low on fuel and needed some time to refuel.
During this time, Zhang Xuan described some tree attack methods to Jasmine.
They were nothing more than Wood Release-style attacks, but currently, Jasmine could only use simple wooden spikes.
However, the range was enormous. Wherever her roots reached, Jasmine could launch sneak attacks with wooden spikes from underground.
Soon, Zhang Xuan boarded the plane and arrived in Europe after a nap.
Zhang Xuan strolled leisurely through the streets of Parisalone, though his attire was quite eye-catching.
On the streets of France, Zhang Xuan wore a gas mask, causing many people to turn and look, but no one came up to ask questions.
Everyone avoided Zhang Xuan wherever he went, fearing danger.
Even thieves chose to steer clear of Zhang Xuan.
"The French are truly environmentally conscious. To save water for flushing toilets, they just pee on the main road."
He walked around, grew tired of it, and decided to scout locations.
He arrived at the Louvre Museum, looking at the well-decorated building, which still had some unique features.
Zhang Xuan followed the crowd, walking forward, and then witnessed a grand spectacle.
A large group of people dressed in white clothes took off their coats, crossed the fence, and entered the exhibition hall.
The famous painting, the mona lisa, was once again splattered with various colored vegetable juices.
Seeing this, the surrounding people all retreated several meters, afraid that the vegetable juice would splash onto them.
"Even if we return to an era without electricity, we must no longer use fossil fuels. Humanity's greed is burning the Earth with oil."
"Oil is evil; it brings slaughter and destruction!"
"How dare you steal my dreams and my childhood! My nature!"
...Zhang Xuan watched this scene and felt he had come to the right place. Looking at the environmentalists confronting the security guards, he felt his own thinking might be too conservative.
These environmentalists knew to destroy power plants, but he hadn't even thought of oil refineries.
These two industries are the cornerstone of modern industry; without them, all of Europe would fall into chaos.
Noting down these environmentalist slogans, Zhang Xuan intended to extract the essence from them here.
"These people are geniuses; these two points alone can trigger another economic crisis in Europe and even globally."
"Two sentences enlightened me; you are the best."
The farce quickly ended, well, in just half an hour.
The Police took the people away, and the museum staff wiped clean the remaining vegetable juice.
A staff member took down the mona lisa, which was covered in colorful vegetable juice, and replaced it with a cheap replica.
Ignoring the questions from the people present, several staff members left.
Leaving behind a group of people staring incredulously at the replica mona lisa.
Several painters, seeing this scene, criticized the staff.
"You are desecrating art; you will destroy art by doing this."
"You actually put a fake piece of art here; it's simply unreasonable."
The staff member rolled his eyes at him: "Do you know how many times the mona lisa has been destroyed this year?"
"How many?" a bystander chimed in.
"The third one, and it's only August; there are still four months left."
After answering, the staff member again mocked the painters:
"Didn't you just point and comment on the replica, talking a blue streak?"
"If you can't even distinguish the most basic authenticity, then there's no need for you to pretend to be artists.
Hurry up and go to a gallery outside, buy a street painting for 50 dollars, and take it home to enjoy."
After a round of mockery, those artists still wanted to argue, but seeing the mocking glances from the people around them, they slunk away.
While these things were happening, Zhang Xuan had already arrived at the Eastern Exhibition Hall; most of the items here were genuine.
Because no environmentalists cared about cultural relics from other countries, it didn't matter if genuine items were displayed.
Moreover, it's genuinely uncertain how many are real and how many are fake here.
