I was always made fun of in my pack. Having my parents die when I was just a new born made me a omega instantly. But my pack waited until I was old enough before starting to bully me. At first I would cry run away, only to be punished more badly.
But now that I'm eighteen I had a chance to meet my mate. Although I knew no one would want to be mated to me. No one would want the omega of the pack to be there mate.
So I knew I would probably be rejected before we even started talking. And my wolf wasn't so happy about in.
"I'll kill every single one of them, once we can shift." Arrie growled in my head she never liked how the pack handled me. Especially my Alpha. The Alpha of our pack. He's main duty was to keep each pack member safe and protect them. He clearly didn't care about me and I made peace with it.
"He's suppose to keep you safe. Not treat you like the others do." Arrie snarled again.
"Relax, Arrie. After our mate rejects us we can move away. No more of this. I promise. I won't let anyone hurt you or us again." I reassured her.
She just huffed and went to rest. I continued to get ready for the evening. Every unmated wolf was allowed to go to the mating ceremony no matter their status.
I stared at myself in the mirror. I had a light blue dress matching my eyes. My long light brown hair styled into wavy curls. And light makeup to cover the brushes on my face and my neck and also I'm still recognised.
I left my house and started walking to the packhouse. It wasn't far but it took me about te to fifteen minutes to walk there.

Once I reached the packhouse it was buzzing with life and chatter. I walked in to see wolves gathering around some already finding their mate and chatting.
I wondered around to the beverage table. I took a glass of water. I wasn't a drinking fan. And just as I took my first sip I heard someone say;
"You actually came? Someone was brave."
I turned to see Railey, the Alpha's sister. She was one of the people who loved bullying me. And she knew her brother wouldn't do anything to get her in trouble.
"It's nice to see too, Railey." I said with a bitter smile.
I knew she couldn't do anything to me here. All the other packs unmated wolves were here and no one knew ours had an omega a.k.a me, the punching bag of our pack.
But it didn't stop her from insulting me, "You clean up nice. Who are you trying to suduce? Not that anyone would want you." She snickered and so did her two minions behind her, Rose and May.
The Beta's twins. May was worse then Rose. And May was also the next Luna and Aiden's mate. She's and Rose turned eighteen 6 months ago and May met her mate, Aiden.
Rose was normally quiet and just there. She didn't speak nor bullied me. She just followed Railey and May like a lost dog. And I couldn't blame her. May and Railey are very intimidating.
"I'm going to slit their throats. Maybe keep Rose alive. She cannot do anything but stay and watch. Her wolf is also very nice." Arrie purred.
Just before I could speak the doors opened from atop the stairs. Everyone turned to see who would entered. There was a rumor that the Lycan Prince would attend today's mating ceremony to find his mate. I didn't believe them, until I saw him enter.
Everyone bowed and so did I. But when I looked up and out eyes met Arrie went crazy.
"Mate! Take me to mate! Now!" She started hopping in my head giving me a head ache making me wince and clutched my head, closing my eyes.
"Arrie calm down. You're giving me a head ache." I told her. And when I opened my eyes again the prince was standing in front of me his arms wrapping around me.
I melted into his touch. He pulled me against his chest burrying his head in the crook of my neck inhaling my scent. I could feel him smiling when I shivered at the interaction.
I didn't notice that we were alone until someone gasped loudly making me turn in the prince's grasp.
I saw Railey. She looked mad. That was until I heard her as we made eye contact, "You bitch! You don't deserve the prince as a mate. You're an omega!"
That drew everyone's gazes. And a growl from the prince. Now he's going to reject me.
