Chapter 7 - Picture

SOOHA was silence while he walked out from the class, walking towards the cafeteria with Wooju tagging him along. He was overwhelmed with the fact that THE Ha Wooju was with him, studying in the same university , and even in the same class and major.

But, what's more surprising was, how much Wooju had changed for the last few years.

"Does he always being like that to you?"

Sooha was startled when he heard Wooju talking near to his ear. He looked at Wooju, with his surprised face,

"Uh.. Yeah. He's ... urm, always like that," he answered, stuttering a bit as he was still cannot digest what the hell is happening.

He tried to walk faster, as being with Wooju made him comfortable, but comparing to how long Wooju's leg to his, he just pulling out the white flag. Catching up to him was no game for Ha Wooju.

Being with Wooju is uncomfortable, especially with the smell of Alpha pheromones. After the whole thing with Seokwoo and his gang back in school, he can never let himself being alone with an Alpha. The only Alphas close enough for him to be comfortable with were only SooA and his little sister Minha.

As the two of them walked towards the cafeteria, Sooha was thinking hard on how he never noticed that Wooju was in the same class with him all the time. Seokwoo was an exemption since he's in a different major. The only class they shared was the last one they had earlier, Business Communications. That's all, and the class had its first offline class just today.

But, for the other classes ... why didn't I even noticed?

(Sooha was never focused during class attendance was taken by the TA)

"Sooha oppa!"

Sooha turned his head, looking at Semi and SooA who were both waving their hands at him by the entrance of the cafeteria.

"Who are they?"

Sooha was startled. He was so out for his mind, that he forgot that Wooju was with him, following him since from the class. He turned his head towards Wooju who was standing tall behind him, looking at him with a confused look.

"They're my friends from the orientation week." he said, with a short awkward smile on his face.

Semi and SooA quickly walked towards Sooha after noticing Sooha's discomfort with who ever guy he was with at the moment. Semi quickly stood in front of Sooha, while SooA grabbing his hand, bringing him to her back,

"What are you doing to Sooha oppa?" Semi asked. She had to lift her head, since Wooju was too tall compared to the three of them.

Wooju looked at Semi and SooA who was protecting Sooha, did something happened?

"G-girls?" Sooha called out.

Semi turned and looked at Sooha. Same goes to SooA. The two girls were both checking on his condition, just in case something happened.

"Did this tall tower guy disturb you?" Semi asked.

"Is he the guy you told us before? The guy who assa-umph!!"

Sooha quickly sealed SooA's mouth with his hand. He let out an awkward laugh, as he looked at Wooju.

"They are my friends. Semi and SooA," he said.

Releasing SooA, he pushed the two girls to bow to Wooju.

"This is my ... erm ..."

Sooha was out of words. He haven't meet Wooju for years. Are we still considered as friends?

"I'm Ha Wooju, Sooha's classmate," Wooju said as he looked at Semi and SooA with a big smile on his face.

Wooju noticed how the girls were looking at him, glaring with daggers. He drawn a smile on his face, "I didn't do anything to him. We just got out from our class," he said, assuring them that he has no ill intentions towards Sooha.

Sooha looked at Semi and SooA, "We're just gonna have lunch together,"

Semi grabbed Sooha's hand, dragging him into the cafeteria. SooA looked at Wooju whose gaze was following Sooha as he was taken away.

"You're not him, right?"

Wooju looked at SooA, frowning. He was confused. Who are this girls referring to? Did something happened to Sooha for them to be this protective? Is it that guy in class earlier?

💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

SOOHA looked at Wooju who was munching on his lunch in silent as he shared the table with him and the girls. The two girls were talking about their classes and he was just there, listening to them yapping.

"I'm sorry," Sooha whispered.

Wooju turned his head, looking at Sooha with his confused face, "Sorry for what?"

"Well, Semi and SooA... were kind of the talkative type, so they yap a lot," Sooha answered, before he took a sip on his drink.

Wooju chuckled, "It's fine,"

Sooha just remained silent. He turned his head towards the girls, and the two of them were already looking at him and Wooju with their serious face.

"So, Sooha oppa's friend. Why are you here?" Semi asked.

Wooju looked at Semi, "Are you referring to me?"

Semi nodded her head, "Yes, you. Who else is here other than you?"

Wooju chuckled, "Well, I am here to eat lunch," he answered. He looked at Semi and SooA with a smile on his face, "Why? Am I not welcome to eat on the same table with you guys?" he added.

"Yes," the two of them spoke in unison.

Sooha looked at the two of them, "Hey, he's just an old friend,"

"An old friend?" Semi looked at Sooha.

SooA looked at Wooju. Looking at him closely until she suddenly realized something. She then turned her head towards Semi.

"Semi yah!" SooA looked at Wooju, "You're that guy in Sooha oppa's picture frame!"

Sooha looked at SooA, blood were rushing towards his cheeks, "H-hey!"

Wooju looked at Sooha, "What picture frame?" he asked.

Semi and SooA looked at each other, while Sooha was looking away. He was thinking on how to create a possible answer to the question that Wooju just asked.

"It's a picture frame that Sooha oppa kept in his house. He doesn't like it when we talk about the picture," SooA said, looking at Wooju.

"Oh, I see." Wooju nodded his head. His eyes were sneaking towards Sooha who was looking away.

"I think it was a picture during middle school? Well, you both were wearing winter uniform in that picture," Semi said.

Wooju tried to recall any picture taken during middle school. The last picture he remember being taken was during...

"Oh, it's a candid picture though. Like someone else was taking the picture," SooA added.

Sooha looked at them, "It's just a picture. No need to exaggerate talking about it,"

Wooju tilted his head, "Oh, apparently I am curious of that picture now, Sooha,"

"It was nothing."
