Logan's POV
I walked out of my office, ready to go back home after attending to the insane woman that just broke my nose.
I sighed as I signaled two of my guards, who immediately came running to me.
"I want you to find out everything you can about the lady that did this to me" I said as I held my nose, still feeling the intense pain.
"Her background, which is where she came from, find out about her parents, every little thing you can find about her, bring them to me" I added as we continued walking.
"Yes sir" The two guards said in unison as they equally bowed.
"Urgh, also we have to go to the hospital, I think my nose is broken" I said as we walked over to the car and one of the guards opened the door and led me inside.
Who exactly was that lady and how strong can she have been to be able to do this to me.
I growled, my anger resurfacing as I recalled the scene before the interview. I had just come down from my car, entering the building when someone or should I say a beautiful lady was about to trip right in front of me and instinctively I grabbed her by the waist, catching her before she could get to the floor.
She looked mesmerizing, her eyes glowed even in the daytime. She was stunning, her bright eyes sparkled with a hint of playfulness, her features were perfectly proportioned.
"Boss, we are here" one of my guards said interrupting my thoughts.
I came down from the car, walking into the hospital building.
The hospital walls were a soft blue, like a clear sky on a sunny day. The colour was calming and peaceful, trying to soothe the worries of those who walked the hall. The walls were smooth and clean, with occasional splashes of bright artwork to add some cheer. The floors were a creamy white, shining like a gentle glow. Even the doors were painted the same calming blue, with silver handles that seemed to welcome you in. Every details was designed to make you feel calm and hopeful, even in a place where people often faced their tough challenges, I personally preferred this place to the other dull hospitals, where the colour of the walls were cold and depressing.
"Mr. Steele, you are here? To what do we owe this great visit" someone said as I finally took my eyes away from the walls and before me was the doctor and several other nurses lined up behind the doctor.
He urged me to follow him, leading me to his office that had Dr. Ernest written on it.
I took my sit after entering his office and waited for him to settle down also and attend to me.
"Mr. Steele, How may I be of help?" He asked as he began to go through paper works possible looking for my file.
"My nose" I managed to say, holding my nose in place.
I was beginning to wonder if he didn't just see my nose or if he saw it and decided to ignore it till I said what was wrong.
He finally lifted his head and began to observe the conditions of my nose.
"Okay Mr. Steele, this doesn't look too bad, we will just have to shift it back in place".
The words came to my ears like big heavy stones. What does he mean by shifting it back in place? Is my nose really broken? I had thought it was just a joke, when I said it before, but hearing it from Dr. Ernest directly kept me in disbelieve.
"Wait what?" I asked to be sure I heard correctly.
"Yes Mr. Steele, we would have to shift the broken bone back in place. Also before that, we need to do an x-ray of your nose and see how exactly it looks like.
"This was all that lady's fault" I said out loud unknowingly, my face contoured in disgust.
"Which lady?" Dr. Ernest asked me with a confused face.
I ignored him as I was already not in the mood to answer him.
"Renee Lutterbort" I kept on repeating that particular name in my head.
I grinned, remembering the devious plan and trap I had set for her. I didn't just accept her to be my secretary, because she gave a heartfelt speech, I was prepared to deal with her. This pain she has caused me, she was going to suffer In ten folds.
"Hah aha" I laughed uncontrollably, as I kept thinking of the tormenting things I could do to her.
The doctor looked at me in sheer confusion, making me immediately stop laughing.
"When should we set the appointment?" I asked him already imagining the pain I had to go through.
"Appointment?" he replied.
"you don't need an appointment Mr. Steele, we can get everything done in less than an hour."
My eyes widened in shock.
After thirty minutes, I was done with the x-ray, and now I had to do the shifting of the bones.
This part felt like pure death, the doctor came in with two nurses and told them to hold me down by my hands and shoulder. He began to wiggle my nose, applying little pressure on it and before I could say jack, he immediately shifted the bone back in place. It felt like my whole world had collapsed, as the next thing I knew everywhere became dark.

"Argh!!" my head felt like it could fall off from my body any moment from now.
I had just woken up from the little sleep I had after fainting, Dr. Ernest came in few minutes later with drugs in his hands and a bottle of water.
"You really are not so strong, a lady did this to you?" he said immediately after handing me the pills while laughing.
I glared at him. If my eyes could kill he would be dead by now.
My thoughts went back to that lady, I had told my guards to find out everything about her, her weaknesses, her background, where she lives, her parents and every little thing they could find. I was ready to execute my plan and deal with her. I was going to torture her and make her regret the day she ever met me.
On a second thought, she was really beautiful, she had these emerald green eyes, that shun so bright, it could brighten a dull person's day.
I was so looking forward to working with Renee.
