When Ivan went quiet again, Dallas didn't push, he stayed quiet too, waiting patiently.
Ivan finally spoke, "Axel being the one in danger is the reason why I can't let my father find out about this because he wouldn't have a second thought to do something crazy."
The words came out with fear that Ivan clearly hated acknowledging.
It sounded like the kind of confession that had been waiting for someone who would listen without immediately judging or using it against him.
Dallas listened without interrupting, but even as he listened, he couldn't help Wondering why Ivan was trusting him with everything, it wasn't that they knew each other.
When Ivan was done, that was when Dallas spoke.
"Then maybe the first thing we should do is try and get rid off those evidence. Are they in her phone or where?" he asked.
"Yeah. But I got hold of that phone once and searched everywhere but couldn't find anything." Ivan answered, frustration flashing across his face.
