With last night's activity to clear out the fire from spreading to the forest, Lean was more exhausted than he ever was.
The moment he got back to his room, Lean's body slammed hard into the floor, putting him to sleep.
He couldn't care less about sleeping on the floor, he just wanted to rest.
The very next morning after testing his skill. The ground shook violently, waking Lean up from his sleep.
Sitting up he found a green panel before him.

Reading the words on the panel, Lean ran out to the front flower garden and looked up at the sky.
Before his eyes, the glass dome surrounding the territory he was in revealed a cosmic being from outer space.
"Holy!? The last time this happened was a decade ago!" Recalling the last time this kind of event happened, Lean finally got a reminder that the world he was living in was not a safe one.
Looking at the cosmic being moving its way toward the planet with its giant, snake-like body, another green panel appeared.
[The GIA system is asking for your cooperation.]
The green panel requested Lean's cooperation within its interface. Without hesitation, Lean yelled out, "Take it!" Putting his hand within the panel.
The moment he placed his hand inside the panel, the energy within him shot up towards the sky. Along with the thousands of others like him from all directions.
Looking in the west direction, Lean found multiple giant pillars of white energy from it. "Isn't that where Siern and others are?" Recalling how Siern and his friends live in that direction.
"If I remember right, the village they live in is near a giant lake." Gazing at his friend's giant pillars of energy, he realized the gap between them was large.
Before Lean could think further another panel appeared.
[Thank you for your cooperation, everyone. The GIA system will now do its part to eliminate the cosmic being coming towards Earth.]
[Consuming all the existing energies obtained from the humans within all the Territories.]
[Connecting all existing Territories within the world..]
At the last words of the green panel, the ground once again violently shook without a stop. For some time, this shaking did not stop till another panel came.
[All existing Territories have connected with each other.]
With all the Territories connected the shaking of the ground finally stopped, giving Lean a chance to stand up on his feet again.
[Activating the Territories' magic formation.]
Looking up once again, Lean found the dome stopped showing the cosmic being within it, and started showing how the energy extracted within him joined together with other people's energy.
[Three!] [Two!] [One!]
Each count felt like a heavy weight to Lean as if he was being pressed down by a mountain. Then.
[The magic formation "Energy extraction" has activated. Blasting the cosmic being to its death.]
With those words in the green panel, the giant sphere of energy on top of the Territories shot towards outer space.
Watching the energy make its way to the cosmic being, Lean felt his heart pumping at its hardest, but it wasn't because he was scared or so. But because he was entranced by how beautiful it looked.
Before he knew it the dome was showing the cosmic being once again. There, before everyone in the globe, in their own countries and Territories, they watch the cosmic snake get shattered like a brittle ice sphere by the energy they have given to the green panel.
[Congratulations everyone!]
[The threat has been eliminated, you are now allowed to rest once again.]
Lean looked at the words with the green panel before passing out in the front flower garden of his home.

Waking up, Lean looked around and found himself staring at the rose planted by his mother in his home.
"Jesus, that extraction felt disgusting when it happened," Lean muttered, standing up and making his way to his home.
"And I only felt that twice in my life…" Lean sighed for a bit before continuing.
"Can't believe I have to learn that in the near future."
[Energy extraction] The magic or skill that was used to extract the existing energies within people's bodies, which was used to kill the threat from cosmic beings, has its drawbacks.
The moment the existing danger had been erased after using this, everyone who took part in this would pass out without fail.
Lean has only experienced this twice. The first was over a decade ago, when he first experienced a cosmic being attacking Earth, and this very morning once again.

Going to the open field behind his home, Lean summoned the item he had brought from the card he had yesterday within his Soul Area.
Tapping the card on it, he read the description of the item.

Gazing at the blue sky, Lean slowly said: "Guess that blessing I have really shown its worth."
The last time Lean experienced the drawback of the [Energy extraction], he, along with his mother, was asleep for a day.
Yet here he was fully awake not long after the drawback happened. "Seeing how the sun is not even at its peak, I was only asleep for an hour."
Since right now, Lean is the only person probably awake after the drawback, he decided to train himself using his newly acquired item and skills.
Lean looked around him and raised the staff above his head. Taking a deep breath, he swung it downward slash starting his training.
"Hooo. Although I can't feel any weight on it. It still felt heavy for some reason." But Lean did not feel bad about it; instead, he was inspired to do better than he ever did.
Lean let go of the staff, letting it fall on the ground. He pointed at the sky and said, "Water finger blast!"
Shooting out a bullet of water in the air, picking up his staff, Lean stepped back.
He waited for the perfect moment. The moment the water bullets were within his sight, he swung his staff, blasting out the water into bits.
Wetting himself with it.
