Chapter 126 - Chapter 126 – It’s Just Fine to Die on Both Sides

In the ancient city beneath the lunar sky, the two factions of the Ōtsutsuki branch house froze mid-battle and looked upward.

Even those of the main family and the branch house, locked in blood feud for generations, instinctively stopped fighting.

"Those eyes… the Sharingan? A descendant of Indra's line?"

The clan patriarch's gaze fixed on Kenya's pupils.

Though the Ōtsutsuki had dwelled on the moon since the era of the Sage of Six Paths, it was not as though they had never left. From time to time, they secretly crossed to the earth through the dimensional pathway Hamura had left behind, observing the shinobi world from afar—watchers gazing down like gods.

Thus they knew the names "Uchiha" and "Senju," born from the bloodlines of Indra and Ashura.

"Whatever brings the descendant of Indra here, your timing could not be worse."

The father of Ōtsutsuki Toneri—short-tempered, far removed from the Sage's calm—raised a staff forged of pure chakra, like Hamura's treasured tin rod. It pulsed not with the five basic elements but with something deeper, purer.

A wave of chakra shock tore through the air. From a distance, Kenya could already feel the oppressive distortion of space.

Impressive…

The blast struck—yet two meters before it could reach him, the air exploded outward, repelled by his spiritual pressure. The shockwave dispersed into a storm of turbulent winds.

Kenya descended slowly, eyes sweeping the pale-skinned Ōtsutsuki. "So it's true—you've inherited a purer strain of the bloodline than earthborn shinobi."

The main family's patriarch, more measured than his counterpart, fell silent before replying. "Uchiha of Indra's line. You and we are kin of a sort. But our family is embroiled in matters of its own. We have no time to host uninvited guests."

Kenya's lips curved faintly. He remembered—years after the Fourth Shinobi War, the lunar Ōtsutsuki nearly annihilated themselves, leaving only Toneri alive. The reason was simple: the endless struggle between branch and main family.

"Patriarch Ōtsutsuki," he said lightly, "you needn't concern yourself with such trivial disputes. Soon, all of you will become part of my power. After that, whether you surpass the Sage of Six Paths or remake the shinobi world will be as easy as lifting a hand."

"Arrogant brat!" the branch leader spat. "Speak your madness in another world!"

His hands flew into seals. Spheres of light formed in the hall, then shot forward.

"Yin Release: Heavenly Orb!"

Kenya's eyes narrowed with faint amusement. "So this is the true Yin-Style—purer than any shinobi ninjutsu. Remarkable… but at its core, still no different."

He lifted his hand, voice like a whisper:

"Shatter—Kyōka Suigetsu."

In an instant, Kenya's body fractured like glass, scattering into nothingness before their eyes.

"What!?"

The Ōtsutsuki staggered in shock, unable to find his presence.

Only Toneri, blind since birth, cried out: "Father—behind you!"

The branch leader whirled.

Too late.

A silver blade slashed from the shadows, carving deep into his left shoulder. Blood sprayed across the stone.

Kenya's gaze slid to Toneri. "Born blind, yet your perception is keen. Not bad." He turned back to the branch leader. "A shame. I should have taken your head."

The man's mind reeled. That illusion… but how?

Unlike the Hyūga, their eyes required no focus, no veins bulging with effort. Their vision was perpetual, able to anticipate even Tsukuyomi. No illusion should have been this seamless. Yet this Uchiha had struck without warning.

Roaring, the branch leader slammed his staff into the stone.

A shockwave burst outward in all directions, a tidal wave of raw Yin–Yang Release.

Kenya raised one hand lazily. "Yin–Yang Release, is it? Stronger than the five elements, yes… but hardly beyond me. Hado #85: Fallen Sky!"

The air inverted, his pressure overwhelming the patriarch's wave.

Guards moved at once, planting their hands on the ground.

"Yang Release: Blazing Sun!"

"Yin Release: Thunder of Darkness!"

Flames wreathed in Yang and lightning infused with Yin surged upward, shielding their lord. For a moment, even Kenya's Kidō stalled against the barrier.

Kenya's eyes lit with rare excitement. "Good… good. Worth the trip after all."

He raised both hands skyward.

"Hadō #88: Dragon Strike Heaven-Shaking Lightning Cannon!"

The heavens themselves split. A storm of thunder roared through the lunar cavern, shaking the hollow moon to its core.

The blast dwarfed a Tailed Beast Bomb. Fire and lightning consumed everything, tearing through Yin and Yang defenses as though they were paper screens.

Stone groaned. Entire sections of the ancient lunar city crumbled into ruin.

The system's voice chimed faintly in Kenya's mind:

How many lives had just been erased, Kenya did not know.

But the system's numbers never lied.

And the tally was still climbing.
