Chapter 49 - Chapter 49 Aokiji Arrives

Finding a pub, Ye Fan and the others entered, and Nami and the others went to sit down.

Ye Fan went to the counter alone to order food:

"Boss, bring us a few of your signature dishes."

It was the same as when he was on Blue Star; no matter where he went, he didn't need to specify what to eat; it was always the same.

He just wanted to taste the local specialty food.

The pub owner was a middle-aged uncle, who saw that Ye Fan and his group all looked like outsiders.

However, after clearly seeing Ye Fan's face, he showed a surprised expression.

Mogu Town is a mixed bag, with many pirates, so opening a shop here mainly requires being observant.

He needed to know many people, so he was very well-versed in wanted posters.

Isn't this the new five-hundred-million-Beli pirate from a while ago? He dared not be negligent:

"O-okay, please wait a moment."

What happened outside obviously didn't get their attention here. Every time he went out with beautiful women, he would encounter such things.

Now, Ye Fan was really getting annoyed.

He sat down at Nami's table, thinking of ways to gather all the treasures in this town.

Searching for them himself would be too time-consuming.

"If you don't want your eyes, you can donate them to those in need."

These calm yet Haki-filled words made everyone in the pub look at Ye Fan.

They were all pirates who had killed people; who would tolerate whom?

Someone immediately stood up, their gaze burning as they looked at Nojiko and the other beauties.

For a high-risk profession like piracy, daily stress is immense and requires an outlet. These people were true pirates.

As for Luffy's group, they were just on an adventure; they couldn't be called pirates at all.

Although some people stood up, others planned to observe the situation, being very cautious.

One person with so many beautiful women, yet so arrogant? If he had no backing, then he could only be called a fool.

Some people in this line of work rely on strength, while others rely on their brains.

Just as the fight was about to break out, the pub owner quickly came out. If a fight started, his pub would be ruined.

"Everyone, please, don't fight! This is just a small pub; it can't withstand your destruction."

"This is the five-hundred-million-Beli pirate - Ye Fan the Prodigy."

The pub owner knew at a glance that none of the pirates present recognized Ye Fan's identity; they were truly a bunch of small fries.

They had no strength and little knowledge. If they wanted to die, it had nothing to do with him, but if they fought here, his pub would be destroyed.

Who would compensate him for all his hard-earned money?

He couldn't afford to offend either side.

The person who had just stood up now had trembling legs and spoke in a shaky voice:

"R-really?"

He truly felt like an ant on a hot pan, agonizing. He couldn't leave, nor could he stay.

In his heart, he already knew it was true, but he still refused to believe it.

Those who hadn't chosen to stand up now felt a surge of fear, while also being grateful they hadn't moved.

Looking at the interesting expressions on those people's faces, they wanted to laugh, but in the current situation, they could only hold it in.

A five-hundred-million-Beli pirate was the highest bounty they had seen in their lives.

In a dilemma, large beads of sweat appeared on the foreheads of the standing pirates. What should they do?

At this moment, the pub owner brought the prepared food to Ye Fan:

"Please enjoy!"

He had already said what needed to be said; what happened next depended on their choice. After all, making decisions for others was asking for death.

The words "Are you teaching me how to do my job?" were a death sentence for the strong.

With a "thump," all those who had stood up, ready to cause trouble, knelt down as if on cue.

"Please, spare our lives! We'll do anything you ask."

"Sir, we deserve to die. Please, let us go."

...

As arrogant as they were just now, they were now equally humble.

Facing the danger of death, what is dignity? It's something that can be discarded.

Looking at these people, Ye Fan tapped his fingers on the table, making a 'Dadada' sound.

Each tap made their hearts jump; their lives were in his hands.

These people had no value; their lives were as fragile as ants. Killing them held no value.

However, he could indeed make them do some things.

Nami and the others were accustomed to such things, enjoying their local specialty food.

"Nami, this cherry pie tastes really good; you all should try it."

Nojiko shared the cherry pie with her sisters after tasting it.

Krul wasn't as fond of these foods, only trying a little of each.

This was similar to Robin; it was as if they were afraid of getting fat from eating too much, so they were mostly drinking. It seemed the beverages here suited their tastes better.

Their composure was such that no one present had ever seen women face such a scene as if nothing had happened.

Everyone present believed this confidence came from Ye Fan.

Ye Fan's gaze swept over the kneeling people. His sharp gaze made them tremble with fear, wondering what their fate would be.

The sound of swallowing saliva was exceptionally loud in the silent room.

An unexpected event occurred when it was least expected.

Just as Ye Fan was about to speak, he looked towards the pub's entrance. He sensed a powerful presence approaching.

His gaze immediately became serious, as did Nojiko's and Krul's; both of them felt it.

Only Nami and Robin looked bewildered. What was happening? Why had the atmosphere suddenly changed?

"Tap!"

"Tap!"

...

Accompanied by footsteps, a tall man wearing a white suit vest and a dark blue shirt, with a green eye mask on his forehead, walked in.

With his appearance, Robin's eyes widened, and her body trembled as she looked at the man before her.

She didn't know why an Admiral of the Marine had come here. Was he here to capture her?

As an Admiral of the Marine, Aokiji was highly recognizable, and the pirates present recognized him at a glance.

This was a high-level combatant of the World Government. First, there was a five-hundred-million-Beli pirate, and now an Admiral of the Marine appeared in Mogu Town.

What exactly was going on?

What happened?

The characters here were no different from the anime Ye Fan watched, so when he saw that the person who arrived was Aokiji, an Admiral of the Marine, he showed no panic.

Instead, he was very excited, because he was very clear about what kind of person the other party was.

He was originally worried about how to replicate his Haki, but now, the opportunity had arrived.

Excitement, extreme excitement - this was the look Aokiji saw in Ye Fan's eyes, which greatly surprised him.

Ye Fan's subsequent actions shocked everyone present.
