Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Crossing the Red Earth Continent

Against the immense Red Line, everyone appeared incredibly small.

Ye Fan piloted the Emperor, moving against the upward current.

This is why humans fear nature, and also why Logia Devil Fruits are so powerful.

Nami and Nojiko, however, were hiding in their room, terrified.

The surrounding gales and severe weather made them extremely frightened; they couldn't stand steady against the turbulent waves and had to cling tightly to solid objects.

Ye Fan stood on the deck, enjoying the cool breeze, feeling that finally, there was a taste of adventure.

Looking at his crown skull flag, though it seemed a bit rustic, Ye Fan was very satisfied.

This was a flag fitting for his Pirate Crew.

"Woohoo!"

After traversing the ascending Red Line and reaching the peak, they began a rapid descent.

This reminded me of the physics I studied in high school; basically, every exam had questions like this.

There'd be an object on a slope, and you'd analyze its forces or calculate how many seconds it took to get from here to there, or what its final velocity was.

Even though I've transmigrated to another world, those high school memories are still vivid.

In the Grand Line, ordinary compasses are useless; a Log Pose is needed for navigation.

Otherwise, you'd be like a headless fly, without direction.

Ye Fan remembered there was an old man here who had a Log Pose; he could ask to borrow it.

That person was the Roger Pirates' ship doctor, definitely a powerful individual.

Ye Fan felt it was better not to fight if possible; if the other party refused, then he would have to resort to force.

Ye Fan chose not to go to Loguetown, so he proceeded directly into the Grand Line; at this time, Luffy should not have reached Loguetown to prepare supplies yet.

After all, Ye Fan had skipped several days, bypassing Usopp and Sanji.

Time was plentiful. As for Nefertari Vivi, Ye Fan could only try his luck at Whiskey Peak; if she wasn't there, then so be it.

Ye Fan felt it wasn't worth it to let her influence his plans.

Moreover, Ye Fan now thought carefully about her identity; she seemed not simple, even Imu had the Gorosei kidnap her.

This showed her importance. To be honest, Ye Fan truly didn't have the strength to oppose the world at present.

He was currently at the level of an Admiral, able to contend using various means.

What he lacked was Haki. If only he could copy the Three Types of Haki now, that would be a huge boost to his strength.

The Vampire Progenitor's enhancement of Ye Fan's physique was incredibly abnormal.

The saying, 'only a tired ox, no worn-out land,' didn't apply to Ye Fan.

"Awooo~"

As the ship glided down rapidly, Ye Fan saw the giant whale, Laboon, and heard its cries.

Although Ye Fan sympathized with its plight and could even use Flying Thunder God Technique to transport it, that would likely cost Ye Fan his life.

That massive body would consume a truly enormous amount of energy.

Even Bonney's ability to change others' ages wouldn't be that easy.

Such a heaven-defying ability inherently demands a huge toll from the caster, after all, a human body and a whale body are not the same.

"Ye Fan, what happened?"

Hearing the strange cries, Nami and Nojiko, supporting each other, came to Ye Fan's side and asked.

Ye Fan put an arm around each of them, to prevent them from being in danger, absolutely not to take advantage.

"It's nothing, just a giant whale ahead. Don't worry, I'm here."

These calm words brought a strong sense of security to both of them.

It was as if with him there, they wouldn't fear any danger.

"This... this is too big!"

The two looked forward, and it was like a giant black wall; if it had eyes on both sides, they truly wouldn't have realized it was a whale.

This completely exceeded their imagination; it was the largest creature they had ever seen.

They gaped in utter disbelief, while Ye Fan was utterly captivated.

He couldn't really comment, but if he had to say, Nami was more talented.

As for other aspects, Ye Fan couldn't compare for now.

He hadn't experienced it, and Ye Fan was a very rigorous person, so he wasn't calm.

"Hold on tight."

As they got closer, they were about to reach the Grand Line.

At this moment, the ship's speed was incredibly fast under the double acceleration of gravity and the current; a slight misstep would send it plummeting into the turbulent currents.

Hearing Ye Fan's shout, Nami and Nojiko hugged Ye Fan's arms tightly.

With his broad chest, there was already a slight difference between the two of them.

Nojiko showed signs of catching up, all thanks to Ye Fan's help.

Seeing his ship about to crash into the giant whale, Ye Fan flicked a gold coin, and then...

"Flying Thunder God Technique."

Ye Fan, with the entire ship, suddenly vanished from the steep Reverse Mountain.

Meanwhile, at Twin Capes, an old man with a hairstyle like a saffron flower, with purple and yellow 'petals,' a robust build, a jaw noticeably wider than his face, wearing glasses, a pink shirt with yellow and green patterns in the middle, light blue shorts, and sandals, was leisurely sunbathing and reading a newspaper.

He had a scar on his left arm and wore a green gem bracelet on his hand.

This person was Krokus, the Roger Pirates' ship doctor, a master with powerful Observation Haki.

"Hmm?"

Suddenly, Krokus looked towards Laboon's side, and the next second, a pirate ship appeared out of thin air.

"Interesting, an interesting little fellow."

The old man sighed; it had been many years since anyone interesting had come to Twin Capes.

Looking at the man and two women on the ship, he knew it was the young man's ability, and the young man was quite handsome, comparable to him in his youth.

Upon finally reaching calm waters, Nami and Nojiko felt a sense of relief, as if they had survived a disaster.

Their first action was to check on the orange trees.

When they left Cocoyasi Village, Nami and Nojiko had transplanted many orange trees onto the ship.

Ye Fan naturally welcomed such an act.

Having some greenery and fresh fruit while sailing the sea was very nice, and more importantly, it was the sisters' longing for their adoptive mother.

They saw that the orange trees only had some fallen leaves and a few broken branches; there were no major problems.

That was good.
